After the incursion destroyed every single molecule down to its very atoms, piece by piece, the entire existence was no more than a forgotten history.
All the concepts of life and creation disappeared as if they had never existed; there was only a silent nothingness.
Millions, billions, trillions, and many years have gone by, but nothing remains in this vast emptiness.

"Now here's your result for the recent mock exam."
A teacher handed over the test scores based on the performance of the students.
"Surprisingly, there are only a few students here who happened to bear satisfactory results, while almost all of you remained average."
He sighed, already expecting the exam results, but his gaze locked onto the student at the back, right in front of a window, where a certain student was seen devastated after receiving the test results.
"I know that some of you here work hard to achieve a good percentage of results, but hard work and pure talent aren't the same. Some students excel in academics while others overwork themselves yet receive unsatisfactory results, but that doesn't mean it is already predestined. Maybe take a leisure break and explore other places to refresh your minds."
His concerned remarks pointed to a certain student who failed to meet his expectations.
After the class ended, the teacher slightly called his student to give him more encouragement.
The student was Larry Croft; he'd diligently spent almost his entire life pleasing his parents, yet whenever they met, he always got an earful sermon.
His mother always wanted him to study diligently just so she could brag to her friends, yet after realizing her son's lack of IQ, she never let him take leisure and always made him study inside his room.
He had a sister only a year younger than him, yet any attention from his parents was directed toward their daughter. When they were kids, she always got what she wanted; she was blessed with numerous talents and was always way ahead of him in every possible way.
He admits to himself that he envies her, but even so, she's still his sister, and he should do his job as every brother should for their younger sister.
Larry was motivated once again to pursue studying; sometimes, he read fantasy books and watched movies in the fantasy and sci-fi genres.
Larry even branded himself as a certified otaku, with his room filled with anime posters and tons of action figures for his collection.
The bookshelf was filled with half academics and half mangas.
(Knock knock knock)
"Hey, Mother called you downstairs."
His annoyed sister somehow didn't like him because she thought he was a waste, looking down on him and even to the point of ignoring him during family gatherings, he said with a stern, annoyed tone.
"Coming," Larry said loudly.
Downstairs, he saw his mother currently busy cooking dinner.
"Mom?"
Larry asked in a worried tone.
"Oh, there you are; I just got a call from your teacher, and you never fail to disappoint me."
"Never have I ever expected that you are still slacking off in your studies, huh?"
"You never learned anything."
"Larry, when will you work hard?"
"Why are you always giving us such a hard time?"
"Why are your test scores always average?"
"Is it because of those comic books and games that degrade your reasoning?"
"When will you start to act like a responsible student and start planning for your future?"
"Wait until I finish cooking; I will burn those useless things inside your shelves and cabinets."
His mom's constant blabbering about how worthless he was made his eyes well up with tears. He immediately left their house, afraid that they would mock him for being a crybaby.
This was the first time he decided to rebel against his mother; all the pressure and anxiety buried within him sparked in an instant as if to erupt like a raging volcano.
As he strolled around the corner of the city to relieve his stress, he eventually met his classmate Ronald.
"What do we have here? Hey, glasses man, why do you look so lost? Any problems there, bud?"
Ronald asked, acting like he was concerned about Larry's well-being.
"Nothing, I just want to stroll around and breathe some nice air, I suppose."
Larry answered in a scared tone.
"Hey man, why not join me in karaoke along with my buddies? I would like to introduce you to them as my classmate."
Ronald then cornered Larry as if he had only one option to choose.
"Okay, but I will not stay long; I just don't want to worry my family."
Ronald assured Larry that he had nothing to worry about.
Inside the karaoke room were five boys having leisurely fun.
Ronald tricked Larry into forcing him to pay for their entire bill.
After Larry got scammed by Ronald, he noticed that it was already near midnight; he was worried that his parents might give him another session of an earful sermon.
Just when he was halfway home, a truck suddenly barreled out of the lane, hitting him and knocking him unconscious.
Blood was dripping from his head nonstop, and his consciousness started to dim.
"Oh, am I going to get isekai'd?"
"I was hoping that I wouldn't reincarnate so soon."
When the driver managed to stop his truck, it was already too late.
The witnesses called for an ambulance, and the unconscious boy lying in the middle of the road was seen drenched in blood.
Never did many of them expect that this was just the beginning of a catastrophe that would make the whole world plunge into chaos once and for all.
