Grabbing one of the knives, he directly slashed his way into its eyes.
However, he underestimated the quick reflexes of the other two he had ignored.
One ghoul used its sharp fangs to bite Benjamin's stomach while the other slashed his leg to feast on his blood.

Knowing the state he was in, Benjamin did not stay idle for long.
He gripped his knife in his left hand and slashed at his target in an instant.
While the ghoul was still screaming in front of him, he didn't waste any time slashing the other knife he was holding into its chest and down into its stomach until its inner organs fell out one by one in the most gruesome way possible.
Eventually, the target met its end as its body fell down, lying dead.
The other ghouls, enraged by the sudden death of one of their kind, flew into a frenzy as they used their skills to paralyze Benjamin.
Before the ghoul could begin its feast, Matilda felt something awaken deep within her body; it was a warm yet subtle feeling.
Her eyes began to glow with gamma-radiated energy, and sparkling bolts of green lightning could be seen dormant within her fists.
Her emotions got the better of her as she directly smashed the head of one of the ghouls, killing it with the blow, and she didn't waste a single second to attack the other one.
Before the ghoul could react, she punched its face with both fists, leaving it no way to breathe.
Soon, all the ghouls immediately died thereafter.
Benjamin couldn't believe what he had witnessed; he just saw his wife with green thunder emanating from her hands like a badass character from a superhero movie.
