Seeing that he was late to dodge, Leios decided to use his left hand to deflect the blade with the palm while his right arm supported his body above the ground. Hermes' sword slashed his thenar space, cutting deep into his flesh, but it was a debt worth paying since he managed to deflect it to the side. He quickly jumped back, holding the wrist of the slashed hand with his right hand. Crimson oozed from the injury, ran on his fingers and dropped on the cobblestone in many drops. The expression of the group suddenly changed to one of anxiety. Ava, in particular, had her brows furrowed and her mouth downturned.

"Hey Leios, you need to quit. That's not a fair fight!" She shouted, her voice tinged with anger and concern. Leios ignored her and continued to focus on Hermes. Ava, seeing this, started walking towards them to drag Leios back. But Daniil walked and stood in her way, his arms folded. "You won't interfere." He rumbled.
