It was morning, and Leios and Ava were walking down the Cercis path heading for work. The sun had risen, and the sky was clear, showing that the weather was going to be perfect yet again. Leios had not told Ava about his plan of meeting with Nemesis so he figured out that the perfect time was then.
"Um...there's something that I forgot to tell you yesterday."
Ava turned her eyes to him as if encouraging him to speak out.
"I will be going somewhere today so I won't be able to help with work at the tavern."
Immediately the words escaped from Leios' mouth, Ava's eyes widened, surprise and intrigue written over her face. "What? Where in the world are you planning to go?"
Even though he didn't know how Ava would react after she heard where he was going, he went on and replied. "I will be meeting Nemesis at their place."
Ava furrowed her eyebrows in confusion with her gaze fixated on Leios. "Have you found another diamond ring?"
