High in the sky, two figures approached the town, Chara and the demoness Marina. Chara was perched on Marina's back, balancing by resting her hands on Marina's shoulders. In her left hand, she held a weathered piece of map that had turned brown over the years.
"You've started misusing my back. Why didn't you ask Lady Duvessa to come with you?" Marina said, swiftly flapping her wings in the air. As she spoke, the cold wind cut through some of her words.
"If you have a problem with accompanying me, you should have asked her to carry me instead..." Before Chara could finish, Marina began to fly in a zigzag pattern, causing discomfort for Chara. This was a habitual act that Marina enjoyed performing, aiming to irritate Chara.
