Linus took a deep breath as he stepped out of the car, feeling the cool morning air brush against his face. His parents were still in the car, watching as he adjusted his bag and squared his shoulders, a look of determination in his eyes. Turning to them, he flashed a quick smile. "I'll go meet up with the team," he said, giving a small wave before heading towards the field.
