Su Man had a dream.
A very long dream.
She dreamed of a man.
A man full of malice.
On a stormy night, the rain pounded against the window, and the room was dim, illuminated only by the occasional flash of lightning. It was a piano room, slightly empty, but it was filled with a chaotic sound of piano music, echoing as if the very walls held secrets of their own.
Accompanying it was a girl's soft voice, "Zhong Jin…"
On a beautifully dark piano stand, the man was pressing her down, kissing her. Even though the scene was hard to see clearly, Su Man felt her face flush and her heart race. The man, however, looked indifferent, his narrow eyes locked onto her, his icy fingertips lightly brushing against her lips.
Her lips were warm from his lingering touch, igniting a fire deep within her.
"Do you know you were wrong?" the man said, his fingertip pressing against her lips as if punishing her. "You're not allowed to smile at anyone else."
His jealousy was clear, utterly unmasked, revealing a full-blown passion in front of the girl.
"Man Man," the man said in a magnetic voice, "Be good, can't you just look at me alone?"
He was speaking to Su Man.
His voice lingered clearly in her ears. He was so close, yet Su Man couldn't see his face clearly.
The more she tried to see the man's face, the more it blurred.
But Su Man could distinctly feel the heat in the man's gaze, like a fierce beast ready to pounce.
He wanted nothing more than to devour her whole.
And indeed, he did.
The young man leaned down, consuming the little rabbit in his arms piece by piece.
His kisses were slow and deliberate, igniting a torrent of emotions within her. Each touch of his lips was a silent command, awakening desires she didn't know she had. Outside, the storm raged, and the cold wind howled, yet the temperature in the room kept rising, as if the very air crackled with electricity. Su Man felt her ears burning from the kisses; it felt unreal, like a dream, but so vivid that she wanted to struggle away from the young man's embrace.
However, the man seemed to have anticipated her desire to escape, firmly holding her small hands. His pale but strong hands tightly intertwined with hers, leaving no gaps, holding her fingers together firmly.
With each movement, the kiss deepened. His tongue danced against hers, possessive and demanding, as if claiming her for himself. Su Man felt as if she were losing herself in him, drowning in an ocean of sensations. The way he explored her mouth made her heart race and her breath hitch, leaving her both exhilarated and terrified.
The young man's lips moved from her mouth to her neck, trailing soft kisses along her skin. Each caress ignited a warmth that spread through her body, making her arch toward him, desperate for more. The contrast between the storm outside and the heat radiating from their bodies created an intoxicating atmosphere.
"Do you want me to stop?" he murmured against her skin, his voice low and teasing, as he nipped gently at her collarbone.
"No," she gasped, her mind betraying her. She wanted him closer, wanted to melt into him, but guilt clawed at her.
"Then be good," he commanded, his breath hot against her ear. "Let me show you how it feels to be truly wanted."
The weight of his presence enveloped her, a dangerous allure that both terrified and thrilled her.
Yet, as their bodies intertwined, Su Man felt the line between right and wrong blur. She had lost herself to this moment, trapped in the whirlwind of his passion.
"Why do you resist?" he asked, pulling back just enough to gaze into her eyes, his own dark and smoldering with intensity. "You know you want this."
She swallowed hard, feeling her resolve weakening under his gaze. "I… I shouldn't…"
Before she could protest further, he sealed her lips with another fervent kiss, silencing her objections. She felt as if the world around her melted away, leaving only the two of them in this stolen moment. The kiss was both sweet and sinful, filled with unspoken promises that sent shivers down her spine.
And then, just as quickly, everything shifted.
She didn't know how she woke up, but the moment she did, all she could think was: thank goodness it was just a dream.
If those things in the dream were real, she didn't know how she would face people.
She touched her earlobe, still burning hot from the dream.
So shameful, Su Man thought.
"Awake?"
For a moment, Su Man was stunned. She looked in the direction of the voice and was shocked to find a person sitting by her bed.
In an instant, all the hairs on Su Man's body stood on end. She hadn't forgotten him!
The scenes before she fainted were fresh in her mind. The confusion in her eyes transformed into wariness, and she looked cautiously at the handsome young man in front of her.
He was also a dangerous individual.
Men were never anything good.
Whether it was the one in the dream or this one in front of her.
Instinctively, she tugged at the blanket, wrapping herself tightly, exposing only her wary eyes, resembling a frightened little rabbit, cautiously hiding in her nest, always watching the wolf lurking at her doorstep.
The wolf, observing this scene, felt no shame in bullying the weak; instead, he found it amusing, the corners of his lips curling into a slight smile. "…So you really don't remember me?"
The wolf had an exquisite appearance, and when he wasn't going mad, he looked exceptionally handsome, especially when his beautiful eyes were fixed on Su Man. She felt her heart skip a beat.
She recalled the kiss before she lost consciousness.
Her already flushed ears turned an even deeper shade of red.
Logically, she should demand justice after being violated, but the young man before her was particularly strong. He could easily kill high-level zombies and seemed unfathomably powerful, making it impossible for her to gauge his true strength.
She didn't believe she could handle a man who could defeat high-level zombies.
She would deal with the kiss later.
For now, it was best to keep her life safe.
Su Man wrapped herself in the blanket, looking around the grand room, feeling a moment of confusion and blankness. "W-Where is this?"
The room was luxurious and exquisite, with several fresh flowers placed in transparent glass vases, blooming quietly.
In the apocalypse, who would have the heart to raise flowers?
What kind of place had she ended up in?
"What about Han Bing and the others?" Su Man asked, still watching the young man warily.
Han Bing wouldn't just leave her, unconscious, with a stranger, would she?
She couldn't!
Feeling a sense of despair with no answer, Su Man looked at him.
"Afraid of me?"
Su Man remained silent, tightening the small blanket around her.
The answer was self-evident.
