"Breaking News!: The Scion of Earth, Lamine Xyston has revealed his success in the discovery of a brand new type of magic. Statistics say it's his fifth one so far."The news was groundbreaking as everyone in the bar immediately went crazy with cheers.
It wasn't a surprise though, the individual who had just been mentioned was considered to be one of the most powerful prodigies on the planet, his talent being recognised by numerous races in the universe.
The stronger he was, the higher the position of the earth among the other civilizations which had benefits for everyone. Thus, anybody who felt jealous of him would be ostracized and scorned.
"Damn. People really are built differently." In a corner of the bar. A young man who didn't look a day over 19 sighed bitterly.
There were young talents like Lamine who made waves throughout their whole civilization with a single action of his, and he who was around the same age could barely get food for himself to eat. The difference was staggering to think about.
"Hey Nux. Want something?" The boy, Nux, was snapped out of his reverie when the bartender, a middle aged man called out to him.
"Yeah, the usual." Nux smiled and nodded.
"Alright." The bartender went behind The counter and came back with a cup filled with a sweet smelling liquid.
"Out most diluted VioBerry ale. On the house." The bartender smiled and Nux gave him a nod of appreciation.
He stared at the pink drink and took a sip. Immediately he did, he felt a warmth in the pit of his stomach that made him feel very comfortable and slowly caused his worries to fade away.
As his soberness slipped away, he felt amused, as he always did when he drank, at how easily he got drunk when taking the most diluted version of the weakest drink known to man.
Unfortunately for him, that's the best he could do. After All, after humanity achieved the status of a Type One civilization and was granted access to Mana by the universe, everyone evolved to become stronger and resilient, all except Nux.
When he was born, his constitution had been abnormally weak. So weak in fact that he could get injured by a child at his age.
But apparently, he wasn't really weak. The problem was that his physique was the same as normal humans before they had access to Mana. And in a world where even the most average was considered superhuman back then, he was incredibly fragile.
And what was even Worse was that he couldn't use Mana at all, meaning he couldn't use magic. He was literally the weakest human in the world, and that was not an exaggeration.
At this point, Nux had finished the whole cup and could barely keep his eyes open.
'Of the billions of humans put there, I had to be the unlucky one. Life's a real bitch huh.' That was the last thing he thought before he fell asleep.

"Hey kid, it's time to wake up." Nux's eyes fluttered open as he felt someone gently tap him awake.
He groaned as he was immediately hit with a splitting headache, indicating his hangover.
"Geez. You always end up like this after you drink, but you insist to keep drinking." The bartender said while shaking his head and Nux managed to sit up while rubbing his temples.
"What time is it?" Nux asked, cringing at the light.
"It's 9am. I'm surprised you slept in that position. But it's time to get up." The bartender said and Nux stretched with a long yawn.
"What are you going to do today?" The bartender asked and Nux shrugged.
"The usual. I'll help out a bit and go train." Hearing this, the bartender shook his head.
Nux always helped him in his bar to unload things. It was super unnecessary since the boy was very weak and could only carry a limited amount of items, but he appreciated how hard he tried to help so he didn't turn him down and gave him a little money as payment.
"Some new shipment Came in. Help me unpack it. Riri will help you." When the bartender said this, a metallic figure suddenly emerged from behind the counter.
It made strange mechanical sounds and resembled a mechanical walker that was as tall as Nux's waist.
"Sure. Come with me Riri." Nux suppressed the pain brought about by his hangover and walked behind the counter, Riri making some noise as it followed close behind.
Nux and the robot made their way to the back of the bar which had several crates of drinks stacked on top of each other.
Nux didn't say anything and pulled off one of the crates with a slight grunt and turned.
Riri made some sounds before a strange energy suddenly moved from it and three of the crates shook before floating upwards and coming to float above Riri.
Nux saw this and pursed his lips but didn't say anything and kept walking.
They took the crates to a storeroom that had other crates of beat and dropped them before going back and repeating the process. And by the time they were finished, Nux was panting and soaked with sweat.
"Phew." He cleaned some sweat from his brow and turned towards the robot.
"Thanks Riri. Tell Mr Hank that I'm heading out." He said before leaving from the back door as Riri made a sound one would assume meant agreement.
As Nux stepped out of the bar, he put his hands in his pockets and sighed.
"Well, no use in staying put." He muttered and went out to the main street where the scene of flying cars and floating billboards could be seen.
All the buildings had a very advanced and technological look to Them, with some even flying overhead. But it wasn't chaotic as everything seemed to have a nice sense of Balance to it.
Nux went to the edge of the road and waited, and then after a few minutes, a floating taxi floated down silently and the doors automatically opened.
He stepped inside and said.
"Vita Park please." The driver nodded silently And drove on.
Nux leaned his head against the window and watched as vehicles flew by the one he was in and sighed, feeling the weight on his heart.
His condition was so bad That they wouldn't even let him get a job as a driver. If things kept moving at this rate, then he'd have no future. But What could he do?
He had no money, so hiring professionals to check his condition was impossible, and even if he could, the chances of them finding a solution to his problem was close to zero.
'What am I even supposed to do?' Nux sighed again.

"Have you detected the target's signature?" A soft, sweet voice sounded.
"Yes, they stopped moving at this location." Another, monotone voice sounded.
"Hm. Where is this?" The soft voice asked.
"... It seems to be a recreational area called Vita Park." The monotone voice replied.
"I see. Well, today is Monday so no one should be around due to work. So I should be able to subjugate The target without any casualties." The sweet voice pondered.
"But what if there are people there?" The monotone voice asked.
"... Then we will have to make the target flee to another area. But if the people there aren't numerous, then we will need to carry out our plans regardless." The sweet voice made a ruthless statement.
"Understood."

Nux arrived at the park without an issue.
It was a 3 square kilometer piece of land and had lots of greenery and trees. It was a very favored spot due to its distance away from the constant bustle from the metallic city.
Nux came here and immediately noticed the lack of people.
"Right, it's Monday so most people are working." He muttered to himself as he walked along a sidewalk and enjoyed the greenery. Allowing it to lessen the burden on his heart somewhat.
He enjoyed the scenery for a bit longer before Going to sit under a tree. Relishing in the shade and cool breeze that blew.
"Fuu~ Let's get started then." He thought before closing his eyes.
He immediately began to regulate his breathing and made sure his breaths were equal. He relaxed his muscles, and slowly, he began to clear his mind.
It was said that in order to sense Mana, one needed to clear their minds and sense it before absorbing it into their bodies.
Nux couldn't use Mana, but he didn't let that stop him. Everyday he came by the park and did everything in his power just to sense its energy.
Even as he entered a state of profound concentration, he couldn't sense anything like Mana and could only hear the sound of the wind and smell the grass below Him.
He stayed in that state for an entire hour before sighing and opening his eyes. Another failure.
"Day 3091 of me cursing the universe for being unfair." Nux said to himself and git to while giving a middle finger to the sky before he began to walk.
However, he didn't even take two steps before the sky suddenly Darkened abruptly.
He paused And looked up and was shocked to see a massive dome that obscured the sky.
"What The…?" Nux exclaimed in shock.
However, he didn't even have time to try and understand the situation as suddenly, the whole ground shook violently causing him to lose his footing and fall to his knees.
He looked up again and vaguely caught the shape of two figures before a blinding light caused him to look down followed by an unbearable pressure.
"AAAAARGGH!" An ear piercing scream entered his ears nearly causing his eardrums to rupture as something smashed into the ground not too far away from him, causing the ground to shake again and bathing him in dust.
Nux groaned and managed to turn his head in the direction of the impact and saw a crater with the visage of a being inside. However, his pupils shrunk when he saw the figure, was not human!
Pitch Black skin and rippling muscles, a ferocious face. And most of all, a pair of horns on its head.
'Demon!' The fear hit him like a truck, making it hard for him to breathe.
And to his dismay, the Demon turned its ferocious gaze in his direction.
The moment its eyes met his, incomparable Cruelty flashed in its gaze causing him to shudder. And before he could react. The demon suddenly vanished from his line of sight. And the next thing he knew, he was being held up by his neck.
He strained as the demon squeezed against his neck causing him to kick wildly. But it was to no avail.
And in his heart he knew, if it wanted to, it could crash his throat with ease. But it didn't.
"If you let me leave then I will leave this piece of trash alive." The demon said coldly.
Nux shuddered when he heard this. He was being used as a bargaining chip.
He struggled to look up and could vaguely make out the visage of a woman floating high above them.
He couldn't see her face due to the distance, but he desperately Hoped she had some way of saving him.
However, what he heard, was a sigh.
"Unfortunate." Even from that distance. Nux could hear her soft voice clearly. However, he had a bad feeling immediately.
He saw her point her hand at them and heard her say.
"You were just in the wrong place At the wrong time." That was the last thing Nux heard.
There was a flash. And then nothing.
If one were looking from another direction, they'd be able to see a myriad of colors bloom before erupting with a catastrophic force, with Nux and the demon being at the center.
The explosion expanded outwards and completely engulfed everything within the dome. AKA, the whole park.
By the time the explosion ended, nothing remained except a deep crater and a crack in space where the center of the blast occurred.
A sigh rang out.
"I'm sorry." And then, the woman disappeared with a flash of light.
However, a few seconds after she disappeared, something interesting occurred.
You see. The reason Nux was unable to use magic was because of his physique.
His body was geared in such a way that it was actually indifferent to Mana. That was why he couldn't absorb it in any way.
And what was even more unique was that while it couldn't absorb Mana, it could absorb something else.
Let's back track a few seconds.
In the first millisecond when the explosion went off, the first to get destroyed wasn't Nux or the demon. It was actually Space.
The fabric of space splintered when the explosion occurred, and in the second millisecond When their bodies actually started to get destroyed, something happened.
From within the crack, a grey energy moved at an uncanny speed. Faster that even nanoseconds, it left the spatial crack and without wasting time, it flowed towards Nux's body.
It entered him and proliferated throughout his whole body. And immediately after that, his body got destroyed. disintegrated completely.
But… It didn't end there.
A few seconds after the explosion ended, gray particles suddenly began to rise.
They rose and were numbered in the millions. And after they all rose, they began to rotate.
As they rotated, they joined together, and as they joined together, they moved faster and faster. Spinning at absurd speeds.
And the faster they moved, the more they joined together. And the process repeated until most of the particles has joined together to create a familiar figure.
BOOM
The particles fused together completely and a huge shockwave was generated. And a naked figure lay down on the ground, eyes closed.
This figure, was nux. But he looked different.
His hair had gone from a dirty blonde to a dark grey colour, and his body seemed to have undergone a transformation as his previously average build became much more shredded.
His body was covered in lean muscles, his abdomen had morphed into an excellent looking eight pack, and his face seemed to have changed as well. Whatever inconsistencies that were there before had vanished. Causing the boy to appear much more handsome.
"Mmm." He groaned slightly and his eyelids trembled before opening, revealing a pair of dark grey pupils.
"What happened." He muttered and sat up while scratching his head. And then he remembered.
His eyes widened as he looked around frantically and was shocked to see the utter devastation to the surrounding area.
"Oh no." He covered his mouth, almost not believing it.
However, what Was even more unbelievable was…
"How am I alive?" An explosion of this scale? And hin at the center? Nothing should have remained. And yet here he was. Alive and healthy.
"Maybe she really did have a way to save me and kill the Demon." He mumbled and felt that it made sense. There was absolutely no way he could survive such an attack, so to him. That was the only thing that made sense.
But then at that moment.
[An Impossible Feat!] A sudden text box appeared in his vision, startling him.
[The Lifeform known as Nux has successfully awakened an Unrecorded Magic unknown throughout the Universe.] The messages continued and Nux's eyes widened in disbelief. There was no way right?
[The Unrivaled magic. Chaos has been discovered.] And then, a sound akin to a thunder sounded.
It wasn't really a thunder strike though as there were no clouds. And instead, it sounded more like an incredibly powerful clap that, not just Nux, but everyone on the planet heard.
When Nux heard This, his brain went blank as he muttered with a dazed expression.
"The congratulatory clap…" A sound heard whenever the universe acknowledges the achievement of an individual.
And more popularly known among humans whenever someone discovers a new form of magic!
"I… discovered a new form of magic?!"
