Sally and Bill Norton stood in the rooftop garden with their coffee, looking for all the world like they were just having a relaxing vacation morning.
As Dimitri observed them in this garden paradise, they seemed free of care, reading quietly and talking and sipping their coffee. Bill was describing one of the renovations that he and his hand-picked crew would undertake today.
"It's a library, Sally. Do you know I would have loved to work on a library in town? This one is an ancient building. It dates back to the Renaissance."
"That old? It must have a lot of history--and some rare books," Sally observed.
