Alex and Sophia sat in the cozy breakfast nook, bathed in warm sunlight streaming through the windows. Alex sipped his coffee, his eyes filled with concern as he gazed at Sophia.
"Sophia, you've been cooped up inside since you arrived," Alex said gently, his voice tinged with worry. "Don't you think it's time to get some fresh air? You need to clear your mind and shake off the weight of what happened yesterday."
Sophia's hands trembled slightly as she held her cup, her eyes cast downward. "I don't know, Alex. I'm not familiar with the city. What if I get lost?"
Alex smiled reassuringly, his lips curving upward. "You don't have to go far, Sophia. Just take a short walk around the block. You can always find your way back. Besides, the exercise will do you good."
Sophia sighed. "B-But... What if the farm finds me again? There is no telling what they would do to me if they found me and kidnapped me." Sophia said, her voice barely above a whisper.
