Alex stepped out of his luxurious mansion, the morning sunlight casting a warm glow over his face. He stepped into his sleek black sedan, starting the engine with a smooth purr.
As he pulled out of his driveway, he couldn't shake off the lingering unease from Sophia's nightmare the previous night. The memory of her trembling in his arms still haunted him.
He focused on the road ahead, navigating through the bustling city streets. Suddenly, his rearview mirror reflected a black SUV tailing him. Alex's instincts kicked in; he recognized the vehicle from the previous day's threatening message.
"Here again today? To be honest, I actually expected such a dumb move from you." Alex said to himself. "Anyways, I wouldn't let you scare me a second time. You were lucky the first time because I didn't know who you were. But now that I know you are just a coward who uses blackmail to get what he wants, I would make you know that I am not to be toiled with."
