"Alex I don't know whatever this girl has made you think of me, but I want to assure you that this girl would only bring trouble to this family," Valerie said as she watched Alex leave.
Alex had intended not to reply to Valerie no matter what she said, but he just couldn't take it anymore. Alex stopped.
"So tell me, what kind of trouble has she brought to this family since her arrival? Because for all I know, if you had just held your peace and stayed away from her, then we wouldn't be having this conversation." Alex retorted.
Valerie scoffed. "It's only because that brat doesn't know her class and has decided to bewitch you, that's the only reason I am against her.
Can't you see it? This girl is bad news. I don't know what this girl has done to you, but I can assure you that you are making a big mistake by keeping her here." Valerie protested.
