Chapter 4 - The Awakening of Darkness"

Elvis looked around. The shadows that had surrounded him began to take shape. Each figure, once blurry, now became clear.

These were warriors who were once great—now mere shadows of darkness. One among them, the largest in size, stepped forward and stood before Elvis. His voice was deep and mysterious.

"We are the ones the world has forgotten. We are the ones whose deaths were in vain, but now we will fight for you." Elvis felt the power rising within him.

The curse mark on his hand began to burn, as if warning him that this power could change him too.

But the fire of revenge had blinded him, and he cared for nothing else. "I know who you are," Elvis said in a firm voice.

"You are the warriors who were once invincible, but now you have one last chance—to defeat Averia. Be my army, and I will give you the freedom you have not seen in centuries." The shadows slowly bowed to him, as if accepting him as their leader.

Their faces bore a sense of satisfaction, but darkness still lingered in their hearts. This was no ordinary army. This was a deadly and indestructible force born of darkness.

"You must give a part of your soul to awaken us," the largest shadow said, his voice now serious. "As long as we are with you, a part of your soul will remain within us. Are you ready to make this sacrifice?"

Without hesitation, Elvis extended his hand. "My soul desires nothing but revenge now. Take it." As soon as Elvis said this, a bright light emerged from the curse mark, and the shadows began to dissolve into that light.

The wind roared, and the sky was filled with dark clouds. One by one, the warriors who had been lost in darkness were resurrected before Elvis.

Their swords and armor appeared before him, and each warrior was now ready, as if they had been waiting for this moment for centuries. Elvis looked at them. His army was now complete—an army that feared not even death.

"You are all my power now," Elvis thundered. "Now we will begin the end of Averia." All the warriors raised their swords in unison, and their voices echoed with the roar of the sky. "Averia's end is certain!"

Elvis's army was ready. Now it was Averia's turn. With dark powers, Elvis had formed his army.

A wicked smile appeared on Elvis's lips.

Elvis thought to himself that he had become far too powerful. Why not test his powers on Averia's palace?

The dark shadow that had been following Elvis was not unaware of this wicked smile.

It understood that Elvis's rage could take him to any extreme, and with this thought, Elvis glanced at his curse mark.

And in the next moment, he raised his hand toward the sky. His entire army stood still, watching Elvis.

As soon as Elvis raised his hand to the sky, lightning tore through the clouds and started gathering in his hand. Elvis, with all his strength, commanded the flames of lightning roaring down from the sky, "In the name of the dark forces, I command you to strike Averia's palace!" As soon as Elvis said this…

A bright light burst forth from the curse mark, and the lightning shot through the sky like an arrow, faster than the wind, toward Averia's palace.

Laughing maniacally, Elvis shouted, "Averia, I have declared war. Prepare to fight me. My message of war will soon reach you."

Seeing Elvis wield such powers, his army raised their swords and shields in celebration of this declaration, chanting, "Averia, your end is inevitable!"

The bolt of lightning that had surged from Elvis's curse mark reached Averia's city, and as Elvis had commanded, it crashed upon Averia's palace with a deafening roar.

As soon as the lightning struck Averia's palace, the guards and powerful wizards were forced outside.

Elvis's lightning had wreaked havoc on Averia's palace, collapsing its roof. Not only that, but many of Averia's slaves were crushed under the rubble and died.

Furious, Averia stormed out of his chamber, his teeth clenched. "Who dares to attack Averia's palace? Whose death has come?"

Watching Averia's rage, his younger brother, Kevin, nervously said, "Averia, lightning struck our palace from the sky."

Averia glared at Kevin and said, "This lightning did not come from the sky, Kevin. Someone sent it here. I had sensed it."

"There is no one in this world powerful enough to face me, but someone has great power. This lightning is a sample of that power."

Before Kevin could speak, a woman behind him laughed and said, "Averia, there is no one who possesses such power. Lightning from the sky is no big deal, but if someone were truly stronger than you, they would have already come to fight you."

Averia looked at the woman with anger and said, "Sierra, you don't understand. All day, I've felt as if someone is calling me, and just before the lightning struck, I sensed it again. Someone called to me."

Sierra, after hearing Averia's words, looked at him and said, "Who is this, Averia, who possesses such extraordinary power?"

Averia, now slightly concerned, said, "I don't know who it is or where they've come from, but I will make their grave."

Understanding the strength of the attack, Sierra said to Kevin, "Send a message to the wizard Ryans immediately."

On Averia's orders, Kevin quickly began preparing a letter for Ryans, the wizard. His fingers moved swiftly over the parchment, his heart racing. He knew that if Ryans did not arrive on time, Averia's wrath could destroy anyone.

Soon, Ryans' reply arrived. The message read, "I'm coming, but the situation is serious. An unknown power has awakened, and this was no ordinary lightning. It's a sign of a deep, ancient magical force."

As soon as Averia read this, he clenched his fists. He knew this was Elvis's doing, but he didn't know how Elvis had gained such power so quickly.

Averia took a deep breath and looked at the roof of his palace, now completely destroyed. "Tell Ryans to come quickly. We need to prepare immediately. This will not be an ordinary battle."

Kevin nodded and rushed outside. Sierra, still standing calmly, looked at Averia. "Do you think this is all the work of that Elvis?"

Averia said in a deep voice, "Yes, I'm sure of it. He burns with the fire of revenge and will go to any lengths. But he doesn't know who he's at war with. Now he will taste my true power."

Sierra smiled faintly and said, "Then prepare, Averia. This battle will not just be about strength but also about strategy."

"And in a battle of strategy, I never lose," Averia said coldly, raising his hands to the sky as if summoning a great storm.

Soon, the wizard Ryans appeared at the palace gates. Concern and seriousness were evident in his eyes. "This is no ordinary challenge, Averia. We must strategize immediately."

Averia listened and nodded seriously. "I'm ready. Elvis has declared war, and now he will face the consequences."

Ryans opened an ancient magical book and said, "This power is ancient, but it can be defeated. We just need the right spell and timing."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Averia said. "Prepare. We'll give him such a response that his soul will tremble."

Inside the palace, preparations for war were in full swing, and outside, the sky began to gather thick clouds once again. Now, it was only a matter of time before the great battle began.
