Chapter 9 - Wrath of the Cursed

Seeing Elvis trapped in Riyans' spell like this, Averia laughed loudly and said, "So, this is your power, Elvis? You're not as powerful as I thought. You couldn't even face my sorcerer!"

Averia stepped forward, swinging her sword in the air, with disdain for Elvis clear in her eyes. "What was I thinking, expecting something from a weakling like you?" she said mockingly. "I thought you'd be a worthy opponent, but you got trapped in my sorcerer's magic!"

Elvis gave a faint, sympathetic smile and looked at his curse mark. A deep glint appeared in his eyes, and suddenly, an incredible power emerged from the curse mark. The chains that had been binding his feet vanished as if they had never existed.

Elvis fixed his gaze on Riyans and said seriously, "Riyans, you've already used your most powerful magic on me. Now, it's my turn." His voice was now filled with confidence and strength, as if an unseen force was empowering him.

Riyans' face suddenly showed a shadow of fear. He was stunned for a moment, as if he had seen something beyond his expectations. The arrogance in his eyes was replaced by deep anxiety and confusion.

"This... this can't be!" Riyans exclaimed in disbelief. "Elvis, what kind of magic are you using? These chains cannot be broken by any magic in this world. They are unbreakable! How did you do it? And what magic do you know?"

Elvis glanced at his curse mark, and his gentle smile twisted into a devilish grin. There was a strange glint in his eyes, as if he was hiding a deep secret. He stepped forward, his voice now filled with newfound power and confidence.

"Riyans," Elvis said in a slow, heavy voice, "No magic in this world can stand against the power of my curse mark. You played your biggest trick, but now it's my turn. You thought you could hold me with these chains? You clearly underestimated me."

Riyans' face showed even deeper worry and fear. His eyes widened, and he began stepping back. His breaths quickened, as if he couldn't believe what was happening before him.

Averia, who had been watching this showdown with amusement until now, suddenly stopped laughing. She watched in disbelief as Elvis freed himself from the chains, and lines of concern appeared on her face. "How is this possible?" she muttered to herself. Fear flickered in her eyes as well. She thought, "No one has ever broken Riyans' chains before. How did Elvis do it?"

Riyans' face was now visibly filled with terror. He tried to recite a spell with trembling hands, but his voice wavered. "These chains... they're made of the most powerful magic," he stammered, "No one can break them... What have you done, Elvis? Who are you?"

Elvis stared at him coldly and said, "I am the one you mistakenly thought was weak. But now you will see what real power is. The strength of my curse mark is beyond any of your magic."

Riyans' ears rang with those words, and his entire body began to tremble. He now realized that he had greatly underestimated Elvis' strength.

In a deep and commanding voice, Elvis looked straight at Riyans and said, "Riyans, just as you used your most powerful magic on me, now it's my turn. I will show you my magic. I have no doubt that after this, you will start your journey to the underworld."

Riyans tried to step back in fear, but it was as if his feet were frozen. His face clearly showed the terror inside him. He had no idea what Elvis was about to do next.

Elvis touched the curse mark with his fingers, and a deep, black energy began emanating from his body. His eyes grew even more menacing, and his voice became deeper. "But don't worry, Riyans," Elvis said in a chilling tone, "I won't leave you alone there either. I am the god of the underworld, the dark lord of sinister powers—Elvis."

Riyans' face turned pale. He now fully understood who he was up against.

Elvis slammed his hand onto the ground with force, and as soon as his hand hit the ground, the earth began to tremble. There was a terrifying rumble, as if an unseen power had shaken the very foundations of the earth. Riyans' army, proud of their strength, began to fall over one by one. With just that one strike, the tremors reached all the way to Averia's palace, shaking its very core, and a sense of dread spread everywhere.

From beneath the ground, dark shadows began to rise, as if they had emerged from the deepest abyss. Those shadows started to ensnare Riyans' army, wrapping around them, and as they did, the soldiers were pulled down into the earth. Riyans and his army tried desperately to free themselves, but the shadows were too strong, holding them in place. It felt as though these shadows had come straight from hell, pulling everything into their dark depths.

In no time, the shadows dragged Riyans' entire army into the depths of the earth. What emerged from those depths were the terrifying screams of Riyans and his soldiers. Their screams were so chilling that anyone who heard them would shudder. They were begging for their lives, but Elvis paid no attention.

The sound of their screams was so loud that it echoed all the way to Averia's palace. Inside the palace, Averia's wife, Siyara, was witnessing this horrifying scene. The fear in her eyes was clear, and her very soul seemed to tremble. She knew that the power Elvis possessed was now unstoppable.
