Chapter 10 - The Dark Awakening

The sound of their screams was so horrifying and deep that it echoed all the way to Evriya's palace, standing tall in the distance. From the palace's heights, his wife, Siyara, watched the scene unfold. The terror in her eyes was unmistakable, and her entire being seemed to shiver. She knew that the power Elvis now possessed was nearly impossible to confront.

Elvis had once again demonstrated his power. This time, he had defeated Evriya's most skilled sorcerer and buried his entire army in darkness. But this victory came at a heavy price. During the final battle with Riyans, more than half of Elvis's army had been wiped out. Now, only a handful of warriors remained on the battlefield, still fighting on his side.

Elvis stood in the middle of the blood-soaked battlefield, surrounded by shattered weapons and fallen soldiers. His gaze fell on the few remaining warriors, who were battered, wounded, and exhausted. Elvis was worried about his army—he realized that without a fully powered army, defeating Evriya would be nearly impossible.

"How many of us are left?" Elvis asked, trying to catch his breath, his voice weary but still resolute.

"Very few, sir," the commander replied, his eyes filled with pain and concern. "More than half of our army has been destroyed. Those who remain are no longer fit to fight."

Elvis closed his eyes, his expression grim. He knew that fighting Evriya without an army would be akin to suicide. Evriya still had his entire Jinc army—those airborne sorcerers who specialized in aerial attacks. Their speed and power made it impossible for any ordinary soldier to stand against them.

"We have to do something," Elvis said softly, his eyes still burning with determination. "I can't fight without an army... we need more warriors."

Just then, a voice echoed from behind him, the same dark shadow speaking once again. "You will have to trust me, Elvis."

Elvis turned with fury in his eyes, looking at the dark shadow. "I've already given you so much. What more do you want from me?"

The dark shadow stepped forward slowly, "The last piece of your soul. In exchange, I will resurrect your army—and this time, they will be more powerful than ever. They will become true warriors of darkness. Even Evriya's Jinc army won't stand a chance against them."

Elvis took a deep breath. Half of his soul was already consumed by the darkness, and now he was being asked to give up the last piece as well. He looked up at the sky for a moment, where thick clouds were rumbling. He realized that the last spark of his soul was on the verge of being extinguished.

"Alright," he said, his voice strangely calm. "You can have the last piece of my soul... but Evriya must fall."

The dark shadow nodded with a sinister smile. "As you wish."

In that moment, the final piece of Elvis's soul was consumed by the darkness. His army rose once more, their eyes gleaming with the power of black magic. They were no longer just warriors fighting for Elvis—they had become avatars of darkness—invincible, merciless, and immensely powerful.

Elvis clenched his fist and said, "Now we will win. Evriya's end is near."

With those words, a new battle had begun, one that would decide the fate of the world.

As soon as Elvis surrendered the last piece of his soul to the dark shadow, the blue hue of the sky began to change. Thick, black clouds swirled around, engulfing the sky in darkness. Suddenly, a thunderous bolt of lightning roared through the heavens, making the entire sky tremble as if the earth itself had shaken. As the lightning struck, blue energy began to pulse from Elvis's curse mark. The lightning pouring from the sky directly touched Elvis's curse mark, creating a scene that seemed straight out of a nightmare.

Elvis looked at his hand, where the electric glow began to ripple. Standing across from him, Evriya watched in stunned disbelief, witnessing Elvis now fully enveloped in that electric glow. In the intense flash of lightning, Evriya could see a new, cruel gleam in Elvis's eyes. There was no trace of mercy left—only destruction and darkness.

"Everything is in my hands now," Elvis muttered to himself, and then he surrendered the final part of his soul completely to the dark forces.

As he did so, a black smoke began to circle his army, swirling around them before seeping into their bodies. One by one, the fallen and injured soldiers stood up once more. But this time, their hands held swords crackling with electric energy. From afar, they looked like an army of darkness, but their swords gleamed with a blue radiance, and each strike crackled with the power of lightning.

The strange blue glow emanating from Elvis's curse mark was fueling his army. As he watched his army rise again, Elvis let out a demonic laugh and shouted, "Now it's all over, Evriya. This is the beginning of your end."

Raising his hand toward the sky, Elvis summoned the lightning, and with a loud roar, he hurled it toward Evriya's palace. "Come, Evriya! Your time has come!"

As the lightning struck the palace, the explosion's sound echoed throughout the region. Evriya and his wife Siyara were inside the palace. The strike was so powerful that the roof immediately collapsed, and the entire palace crumbled into ruins. Siyara screamed in terror, "Evriya, we must get out of here!"

Both of them ran, rushing out of the palace, but what they saw was beyond their imagination. This lightning was no ordinary strike—it was more powerful than anything they had ever witnessed. It hadn't just destroyed the roof but turned the entire palace into rubble. Everyone inside the palace had been wiped out in an instant.

Tears filled Siyara's eyes, and Evriya's eyes were filled with rage. "How is this possible?" Evriya muttered through clenched teeth. But then he noticed his brother Kevin was still alive, hiding in one of the palace's corners. Seeing this, Evriya sighed in relief, but his anger had only intensified.

"Elvis…" Evriya growled, clenching his fists, "You will pay for what you've done."

From a distance, Elvis watched Evriya and then laughed loudly, "Your end is now certain, Evriya! You and all your powers are nothing before me now. What little you have left will only be consumed by my darkness!"

Evriya pushed Siyara back, saying, "You stay back, Siyara. I'll handle this myself."

The sky was still roaring with black clouds, and lightning continued to crackle as Elvis's army, swords in hand, began to advance. This was the moment—the final battle between darkness and light was about to begin, and this fight would decide the future of the world.
