Chapter 37 - Grace!

Another God had been making his way to the court. Wearing a white scarf, his hair coloured green and his eyes yellow. A height that stood similar to Sedah, possessing beauty, radiance and feminine-like eyelashes. He had a gentle aura surrounding him.

He walked through the giant doors that had already been burst open. Applauding Sedah, who now stood covered in blood on the massive table. Behind him sat the headless corpse of Themison.

"Look at that, Themison's white robes are now soaked with blood. Whatever am I going to do?" The new god spoke while smiling.

Sedah pointed his finger at him, not knowing who he was, he questioned him, "Who the hell are you?!"

"Me? My name is Apollo." He smiled and then gave a courteous bow to Sedah.

"Apollo, huh? I've never heard of you in my life. But I really hate your smug-looking face." Sedah jumped down, crashing onto the floor, he then walked face to face with Apollo. "So? What do you want mongrel?" He had his arms crossed.

Apollo walked past Sedah. He then touched Themison's head that rolled onto the floor.

Themison's once dull eyes became coloured once again.

"Haha! Apollo, thank you!" Themison had come back to life; even though his head wasn't attached to his neck, he was speaking.

Sedah stood behind Apollo and grabbed his head, forcefully smashing it onto the ground. Sedah was now bent on one knee and Apollo completely flat. It created a huge crater on the floor from the sheer impact! Still holding onto the top of his head, he continued to smash his head repeatedly, creating an even deeper crater.

Sedah then stopped and observed his face.

"No blood. Not even a scratch. Cocky brat."

"Haha. Unfortunately for you, I am unkillable. Ah! Don't worry! I don't possess enough strength of harming you at all!"

Sedah let go. "No god does." He then walked over to Themison. "I guess with him around I won't be able to kill anyone. I wasn't planning to anyways."

"It seems all your wounds have also healed. Sedah, you truly are a terrifying demon. Your abilities are absolutely unstoppable." Themison complimented Sedah.

"My abilities? Unstoppable, huh? Yes, you are right. Still, I was too weak to save her. Mongrel. Tell me your ability before I murder you." He turned back to Apollo.

"Murder me? Didn't I already say that you can't mur-"

"Fool! Do you truly believe I can't kill you?!"

Apollo took a step back and gulped. "Ahem! I can heal and bring anything back from the dead. My healing is absolutely perfect!" Apollo proudly stated.

"Perfect healing. Revival. I see."

"Why did you come here Sedah?!"

"Why did I come here again? Ah! Ahem! Listen up all you worthless gods! I'm going to destroy everything! Understand? Your time limit is a decade. One decade." Sedah held up a finger. "In one decade everything you know will cease to exist."

Every single god and goddess gasped.

"Sedah! You truly are a demon." Themison clenched his teeth.

"Gather all your forces. Angels. Gods. Humans. Monsters. Anything and everything, unite them all if you must. Kill me if you can!" Sedah provoked every single god; their blood now boiled with anger!

-----------------------------------------

A significant amount of time had passed since Arthur had entered this state of unconsciousness. In total, eight months and Arthur still showed no signs of waking from his nightmares.

Chronos has been taken care of by Kagekawa. The war between Vastos and Coldera will soon have its largest and final battle on the first day of the next month as the king of Vastos decided that their army will launch a full-scale attack on Coldera. Only a handful of people that the king trusted knew of this plan.

Chronos visited Arthur's unconscious body every day, in hopes of him waking up.

-----------------------------------------

Arthur was facing a Behemoth -no- not just one Behemoth but an army of Behemoths! His arm had been bitten off, and his whole body was severely wounded, full of scars. He sat against a wall in a small cave. He successfully evaded and hid these beasts, but he was bleeding out to death. He could feel the tremors from the horde of Behemoths. His vision started to become dark.

"I only managed to kill a few of them...so this is how this life ends. What a joke..." Arthur bled out.

-----------------------------------------

Arthur started back at the forest.

"Arthur, are you ok?!"

"How many times have I died...hundreds? Thousands? It doesn't matter. I'll find a way out to kill that demon."

Amygdala suddenly appeared, making the sky turn black.

"It's unusual for you to appear so early. What do you want?" Arthur looked up into the sky. Chronos had fallen, becoming unconscious.

"π‘Š-π‘Š-π‘Šπ˜©π‘œ π‘‘π‘œ 𝑦-π‘¦π‘œπ‘’ π‘€π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘‘π‘œ π‘˜π‘–π‘™π‘™?" Amygdala spoke with a stutter.

"Huh. Me?" Arthur was shocked; this was the most Amygdala had ever spoken to him.

Amygdala nodded her head.

"A demon. Sedah. Why do you ask?"

"𝑆-π‘†π‘’π‘‘π‘Žπ˜©? π‘‡π˜©π‘Žπ‘‘ 𝑖𝑠 π‘€π˜©π‘¦ π˜©π‘’ π‘œπ‘“π‘‘π‘’π‘› π‘Žπ‘π‘π‘’π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘  𝑖𝑛 π‘¦π‘œπ‘’π‘Ÿ π‘›π‘–π‘”π˜©π‘‘π‘šπ‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ ."

Arthur pointed his finger at Amygdala. "I have a question for you. Why have you trapped me here in the endless nightmares?" Arthur had given up on killing Amygdala and decided to converse with her instead.

"𝑃-𝑃-π‘ƒπ‘™π‘’π‘Žπ‘ π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘’..." Amygdala's silky hair covered her eyes her pale-white cheeks, which had turned slightly rosy.

Arthur was taken aback with her reasoning. "Pleasure?!" Arthur exclaimed.

Amygdala jumped a little from Arthur's voice. "..." Her fingers started fidgeting as she turned her head away from Arthur to not make eye contact.

"I've suffered for so long...all for your sick pleasure!"

"π»π‘’π‘šπ‘Žπ‘›, π‘¦π‘œπ‘’ 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑙 π‘ π‘’π‘“π‘“π‘’π‘Ÿ 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 π‘šπ‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘’ π‘‘π‘œ π‘ π‘Žπ‘‘π‘–π‘ π‘“π‘¦ π‘šπ‘’." She spoke in a cold and harsh tone.

"Satisfy you?" Arthur thought for a moment and then was struck with a brilliant idea. "Ah! What if there was another way to satisfy you?"

"πΌπ‘šπ‘π‘œπ‘ π‘ π‘–π‘π‘™π‘’! π΄π‘›π‘œπ‘‘π˜©π‘’π‘Ÿ π‘€π‘Žπ‘¦?" Amygdala tilted her head, slightly curious about what Arthur had planned. Amygdala landed onto the ground. Her face wearing an icy expression.

"I'll marry you!" Arthur pointed his finger at her with a great big smile. His eyes glared at Amygdala with such boldness she couldn't help but be embarrassed. She then buried her face in both of her hands.

"𝐴-π΄π‘Š-π‘Šπ΄π΄! 𝑀-𝑀𝑒?" Her voice was slightly muffled.

Arthur approached closer and took both of her hands with a strong grip. He stared deep at her eyes that were always hidden behind her bangs. He then took one of his hands and pushed her bangs up to see her eyes amd face clearly.

"Just as I thought. Your beautiful." Arthur told truthfully. He felt a little embarassed complimenting her.

Amygdala stared at Arthur's blue eyes, she could see her reflection and how red her face had gone.

"𝐡-π΅π‘’π‘Žπ‘’π‘‘π‘–π‘“π‘’π‘™?!!" Amygdala had never been hit on before! This was her first time and she was weak to Arthur's flirting.

"Amygdala! Let's get out of these nightmares and get married!" Arthur gripped her hands even tighter, holding them both in between their chests.

"π‘Œπ‘’π‘ ?!" Amygdala exlaimed with confusion as she hadn't known what had come over her. It was all so sudden and new to her! '𝐼𝑠 π‘‘π˜©π‘–π‘  𝑙-𝑙-π‘™π‘œπ‘£π‘’?! πΎπ‘¦π‘Žπ˜©!!' She thought to herself.
