Chapter 25 - Fiery End!

No God or Goddess had spoken out against the decision. However, one God was displeased. A few months later this God acted on emotion.

Long black hair. Yellow-eyes. He always maintained a dignified posture. Dressed in full black robes.

"This demon will die by my army of dragons. One pathetic demon and a human village won't be missed."

He transformed into a great, black dragon. His eyes turned red. This was the Dragon God's true form. He descended from heaven. Landing at the largest mountains in the entire world, hosting the entirety of dragons.

Their leader was the Dragon God, Drakonthar!

Among even the gods, he was by far the most violent. His army of dragons was fierce! Most God's wish to never face his wrath. He was formidable. Every dragon did his bidding and if they didn't, they would face him and die!

Dragons are creatures of war. They murder one another to settle simple arguments. This was their way, and by far, Drakonthar was the strongest and biggest out of these dragons and, therefore, their leader.

"I want three dragons to burn this village! Kill every last person! There is a demon living among them and he will be exterminated."

He had thousands of dragons at his disposal, but all he needed was one. However, he was never too careless and sent three dragons!

"Fly towards the village and burn it down. Do not kill anyone else except those in that village. Make sure to burn them all."

The three dragons had begun flying towards the village.

"Lyanna! Whatever are we going to do, Serah's a troublemaker, she refuses to eat her food. Hehe."

"Gosh! Serah! Eat your veggies, it's good for you."

"Gah!!" Serah punched the baby food, making a huge mess.

"Ahh! My daughters are so cute!" Sedah was melting day by day.

"Sedah! Don't look so happy or else it'll leave an impression on her that she's doing the right thing."

"I can't help it, she's so adorable!" Sedah began playfully tickling Serah, who was now giggling.

"Sedah!"

"You're cute as well, Lyanna. I love you." He looked at his wife, grinning ear to ear.

"Ah! Gosh! Don't you have to get going to tend the fields and hunt a few monsters? Now, scram! Shoo shoo!"

"Ehhh~I don't want too..I bet Serah doesn't want me to, isn't that right?"

"Gahh!!" Serah kicked her feet into the air.

"Yes. Yes. I'll miss him too. Now get going already!" Lyanna exclaimed.

"I'm off then." Sedah kissed Serah on the forehead. He then went over to Lyanna, planting a kiss on her lips. Then he opened the door.

"Ah! I love you too...Sedah.." Lyanna's face became more embarrassed.

"I know!" Sedah left with a huge smile on his face as he ran off to do his daily work. Farming. Hunting took longer than he thought as he encountered a group of direwolves, but he dealt with them. He went out into the forest, deeper than usual.

Exploring and satisfying his curiosity. Night had come, and he decided to head back to his village.

"Black smoke!" He exclaimed.

He ran as fast as he could back to the village. He got closer, hearing screams and cries. Looking up at the sky, he saw a silhouette of three massive bodies with wings and claws and massive fire raining down. They kept going in and out of the clouds.

People he knew for as long as he could remember were being burnt alive. Children and mothers are stuck in burning houses. He wanted to help; of course, he did. He didn't want to ignore their cries, but he had to save his family first and foremost! It was hard to breathe and hard to see.

He moved forward, towards his house. Houses were collapsing; burning wood was entrapping these innocent people. Dragons roaring in the skies above. Sedah had felt absolutely and utterly powerless. He was afraid. Afraid of losing his sweet Lyanna. Afraid of losing his sweet daughter Serah. He ran into his burning house, crashing the door down.

Lyanna was curled up, protecting Serah, who was in a basket.

"Lyanna! It's fine now I'm here!" He was scared, coming closer to Lyanna, touching Lyanna. Then she fell on her back.

"WAHHHH! WAHHH!" Serah was crying. Sedah was distraught.

Lyanna's face was burnt. She was breathing, but faintly.

"LYANNA!" he rushed over, flinging her onto his back, while on the other hand, he picked up the basket where his daughter was. He ran out of the burning house.

"What do I do? Where should I go?"

"RAWGHRRRRR!" the roars of the dragons could be heard; it was echoing in Sedah's mind. He decided to run quickly into the forest, where he had previously discovered a cave which he thought would be safe. He placed Lyanna against the wall of the cave and the basket with the baby right next to her.

"Lyanna's parents! I need to go save them!" Sedah had to save her parents, who had given him a home and love when he was just a child, he thought of them as his parents. They believed Sedah was their son as well.

He had run back to the village, but it was too late. There wasn't a sign of life anywhere. Houses were collapsed and blackened. Burnt corpses of fathers, mothers and children. Sedah had walked around the village in hopes of saving anybody. Rain had poured down, extinguishing the fire and uncovering a ruined village.

One man he couldn't even recognise, crawled and grabbed his leg. His face was completely burnt, and his legs were burnt and stuck under a collapsed house. The man's mouth had moved, and the only words Sedah could hear were, "Kill...me..please" The man could barely speak, and yet those were the words he chose. His last words.

Sedah had been consumed by anger and despair. He unsheathed his sword, planting it right through the man's head into the ground. He looked up into the night, his tears covered by the heavy pouring rain. He screamed out, pledging to kill every last dragon!
