There are 4 main types of elements : Fire, Earth, Wind and Ice.
These can mix and create new spells and elements.
Incantations are important as they allow you to hone your spells, most magic users use a staff to even further make their magic more accurate and stronger! Also, using chants will make the user cast very specific spells e.g Making a dark room light up a bit.
There are two types of magic wielders: Accumulators and Casters. Now an accumulator can take the magic around him and bring it forth, whereas a caster brings out an element or elements from within themselves. Accumulators are more in tune with emotions and spirits, at the highest level, there said to be able to read minds (just a rumour though). Moreover, they have more stamina and endurance in using magic.
However, a caster does tend to be a better fighter overall as there not limited to their surroundings. e.g. a forest holds wind and earth magic, but, unless you have an high apttitude level, you can only draw out so much. Moreover, most people are only born with one attribute, so if their born with let's say a fire attribute, they can't really do much in that situation but another person with a fire attribute, this time being a caster, they can use it at will.
Moreover, to be a high - level accumulator, it takes a very long time of dedication in meditating and parctice. Close to a lifetime.
Note:
Almost everyone, whose born being accumulator, if they want to be an adventurer, work at being physically stronger instead. Honing their discpline with a weapon of their choosing. People, who are born with no magic abilities and so on also do the same. They get stronger through simply working hard, training and experience, enhanced by their equipment.
Currency?
The currency used in this LN is sigil. It's a small, hexaganol piece of metal, with engraved writing around. A smaller hexaganol hole in the middle. Sigil can range from bronze, silver and gold.
1 gold sigil = 10 silver sigils
1 gold sigil = 100 bronze sigils
1 silver sigil = 10 bronze sigils
Pretty simple!
