Parents would speak of an adventure to their children and their children's children; 'The Great Tale Of Sedah', this story had been passed down from generation to generation.
Nobility all the way down to peasants all cried out in joy about Sedah, the most respected figure in history, stopping a century-long war between humans and demons, ultimately leading to peace and prosperity.
Bloodshed and murder spread throughout the country of Vastos, enclosing its kingdom. Fathers, Mothers, Sons and daughters; no one was safe. Demons had ascended upon this world climbing from the pits of hell, rupturing the land. Knights assembled with shields and spears to protect the king and his kingdom. However, it was futile.
Futile until one man appeared in a blaze of glory with a sword that radiated light and fire, holding his sword, he shouted "Raise your spears my comrades!" pointing forward at the horizon of bloodthirsty demons he exclaimed, "The enemy is right there, you are the kingdom's heroes, charge forward! Charge forward!"
Thousands of horses galloped carrying the knights, who had screamed out a war cry as they marched and marched.
The century-long war had concluded with the end of this battle.
"Of course, that's just the ending to my tale; getting into the details of where I travelled and how I got stronger would take too long to explain, so this is basically the shortened version."
"My adventure ended long ago. I doubt people even remember how I look like. Those ungrateful, annoying humans. Tch. Whatever. I only did it because I was bored. That war was so boring I couldn't even call it a fight. I wiped the whole army of demons in a single swing."
"Now, I've just been camping in this cave for who knows how long. Whenever I'm not sleeping or hunting for food, I do go to some of these human villages and pick up quests. Ah! By the way, I'm actually a demon in disguise of being a human. Me being a demon means I'm immortal-at least in the sense that I can't die of old age. "
"How lucky you might say?"
"Well, it's quite boring. Life is way too peaceful. Annoyingly peaceful. I haven't sensed any human being born with great magic power or physical power that could rival my own...how unfortunate. Oh? My goal? Well, as of now. Yes. It has to be only one thing. To die in battle giving it my all, but I've just had zero luck until now."
"Usually, I'd never leave my cave; I'd just lay and sleep all day, only leaving to hunt and eat, but I've found something else worth leaving my cave for. An immense magical pressure is emanating around this forest."
"A basket?"
"Wahhh! Wahhh! Waahhhh!!!"
"A blue-eyed baby with brown hair, how interesting. Wait. This magical pressure is coming from a stinking crying baby?!??!
Wait wait wait. Where the hell is his parents? Goddamit. How has it not been eaten by hungry monsters already? I guess the immense pressure from him is deterring the monsters away... that or his stink."
"Wahhhh!! Wahhh!! Waaaaaah!!"
"GODDAMIT! Will you stop crying already!? Tch. So god damm annoying."
"Gahh ~ "
"Wait? That actually worked. Taking care of some baby is easier than I thought. Fine...considering your parents aren't around, I'll just have to take you in myself, but first things first...a name...a...a..ARTHUR!!
From now on your name is Arthur! Understand?"
"Gahh!!" the baby proclaimed, kicking his tiny feet in the air, tucking his fists to his chest with a great big smile.
"Good! I'll make you into a great warrior. No excuses! What do I feed a baby though, milk?"
