"Ah, interesting." David gasped in shock. He liked what he was hearing very much and he knew there was definitely something brewing between both parties.
"Tell me more, I'm interested," David said, looking up at Lucas as he was now very interested in hearing it to the end, knowing Lucas still had more information up his sleeve.
Lucas was happy with the latest development but he did not show it. He was relieved that he would not be getting in trouble with his boss after failing to carry out his orders to the letter.
"In fact, have a seat, Lucas, I want you to calm your nerves and explain to me in detail everything that you observed that could have gone down between them even though you were not able to enter the restaurant to hear it firsthand," David said to Lucas with a wide eye that startled Lucas at first but he quickly composed himself.
