"Mike wait! Please wait and hear me out." Jack shouted to Mike from behind as he struggled to catch up with him after being delayed because he had to pay for their lunch.
Mike was so frustrated now and he wondered what else Jack wanted to say to him. Had he not said enough? Why was he still coming after him even after he made it clear to Jack that he did not want to hear any of his explanations?
Mike thought as he kept on walking, refusing to wait or look back to meet Jack, instead, he walked faster. He could not believe his own friend could not support him regarding what he said he didn't like.
How could Jack support what his father had ordered about the marriage? Wasn't he human too? Why did he have to follow everything his father said? He thought as he finally got to the front of the company.
