"Good evening esteemed guests, to another annual pack summit, where we gather together to embrace and celebrate our differences within our packs." Announced the blonde haired man, mounting the podium. He was the Beta of the Brimstone pack, one of the prominent packs in the eastern district.
"We are very honoured to have in our midst the head of the grand council, and Alpha of Night Howlers amongst our midst tonight. With a round of applause, let's formally welcome Alpha Rocco." Beta Colt announced, as the spotlight shone on Alpha Rocco, who had in his company his wife and Luna, Penelope.
The rest of the guests sounded a thunderous applaud to what one would call the most 'powerful' man in the werewolf community.
Not only was he the leader of the grand council, but he headed the most influential pack in all four districts, Night Howlers. His fame of how he uncovered the case of the 'missing rogues' and brought down the infallible Keegan Saint, the mastermind of it all.
And of course, how he defeated and captured his lackeys, other big names in the community, like Alpha Renold, Alpha Theo and the rest.
Alpha Rocco sent a short wave, which made the guests roar in appreciation even louder. His wife, Penelope hugged his arm, sharing the spotlight with him.
After the applause finally died down, Beta Colt went on to sign his praises, "It has been over a decade since council leader Rocco, abolished the omega maltreatment code, and brought about a new era where all pack members are valued."
Apparently, the annual pack summit used to be an Alpha seminar, hosted by a formerly prominent pack, the Silvertail pack, named after the late Isaac Silvertail.
However, after Rocco made the announcement that he would create an era for Omegas to coincide in peace with Alphas, he had the seminar abolished completely.
"Tonight, we are graced with another surprise appearance. Infamous for her strength and great contributions to the community, we have in our midst the daughter of our beloved grand council leader." Beta Colt announced, sending the crowd into shock.
Was she really here?!
The last they had heard, she was in isolated training!
The strong, smart and graceful future Alpha of Night Howlers.
"Without further ado, let's give a round of applause for Kaida…" Colt's voice was drowned out by the sound of loud murmurs and indiscriminate talking from the guests.
His gaze fell to the spotlight shining on the special seat reserved for Kaida upstairs, he quickly turned off his mic when he realized that it was empty!
Through the mind link he questioned his pack, 'Where is Kaida?!' he panicked, forcing himself to keep a smile on his face.
The guests turned to each other, voicing out their thoughts.
"Where is she?"
"Is she really here?"
"No one's seen her in three years, there's no way she'll show up now!"
Alpha Rocco balled his fists in anger, "Penelope, what's the meaning of this?" He forcefully whispered into her ear.
Penelope gulped, "She said she forgot something at the pack and went back-" In the middle of her sentence, Rocco gripped her knee tightly through her silk red dress.
"Find. Her." He ordered, with a fake smile on his face.
Penelope winced in pain, but nodded, "Yes, Alpha." She answered, discreetly bowing her head to him. She stood up and quickly went to find her daughter, before she embarrassed them even further.
"Kaida…" she stressed taking her phone out of her purse, "Where the hell could you be?"
*Night Howlers Territory*
"Ahh…fuuuuck! Yes! Yes!" A woman moaned at the top of her lungs, her voice echoed across the walls of the pack archive room. She arched her back against the large shelf behind her, the pleasure from getting eaten out made her body shiver.
Throwing her head back, she didn't realize her shaking had caused the shelf to get wobbly. A large book on the top shelf fell, and aimed directly for her head.
It was only when she opened her her eyes that she noticed the book falling towards her. She closed her eyes, bracing herself for the pain.
*Smack*
A large thud sounded as the book was smacked out of the way.
"W-What…" the woman blinked twice still dazed from the pleasure. She fully opened her eyes, only to see a pair of piercing blue eyes staring lustfully at her.
Kaida licked the woman's juices off her lower lip and shot her a seductive wink, "Be careful, kitten."
She ran her hands through her wild brown hair, pushing it back to reveal her sexy collar bone. Kaida reached for her phone next to the writhing she-wolf, only to frown at the missed calls and texts.
"Shit, I lost track of time." She smiled recklessly, she turned to the woman whose black dress she had ripped off, to reveal the lingerie set underneath. "Here," she picked up her jacket and draped it over her shoulders.
She turned to leave, but the woman stopped her. "A-Aren't you going to…" she couldn't finish her sentence, but Kaida caught her drift.
"Sorry, but I have somewhere to be tonight." Kaida announced without looking back.
Somewhere to be? The woman frowned, the only event was the annual pack summit, and judging by how late it was, there was almost no point in going.
She had only come to Night Howlers to meet up her friends, who were supposed to attend the summit with her. Getting eaten out by the woman who changed her tire was not on her bingo card for the night.
She tugged on the jacket tighter, inhaling Kaida's scent. "Um, c-can I at least get your name?" She asked just as Kaida was about to leave.
"My name, huh?" She looked over her shoulder at the blonde she just happened to take in an interest in. But it was nothing more than that, her interest would wane after a rough fucking into the morning.
"It's Kaida." She smirked, then walked out of one of the most sacred rooms in the pack, leaving it oozing with the scent of arousal and fluids.
Watching her walk off the blonde gasped, "Kaida?!"
"It couldn't be…" she shook her head, wondering if she had just fallen prey to the infamous daughter of the grand council leader.
And while she might be popular amongst the adults for her intelligence and strength, there was another name going around about her.
The huntress.
