You saw me all this time, and you pretended to be busy on your laptop. Lol! You are something else, I can't definitely figure you out. Jabari thought, indifferently, he felt like cursing her.
The moment she came close to him, Jabari spoke first, feeling a bit guilty about what he had thought, 'Hello! How do you do?' Jabari looked directly into her eyes to lock with her, but she smoothly rolled them away, appearing embarrassed by her audacity to confront him.
'I am cool, I would like to buy tomatoes for a hundred dollars. I will come and pick them up after I knock off at seventeen twenty P M.' Veronica expressed her thoughts plainly.
Jabari beamed, thinking she must have overheard their conversation, or was it just coincidence? Well, he couldn't figure out the answer right away, he gave a light cough to clear his throat, 'You will find them set apart for you.'
Veronica smiled as she seriously struck a strong gaze into his eyes like she wanted to eat him up alive or like he had offended her in any way.
Down in Dangrandaga it was almost daybreak, Jabari came back from his trip of remembering his past which was so, vividly in his life now and comforting while he took cover in the cave. A particular scene in the cave captured his attention in between the white stone and the dark soil. There was a unique hole positioned on the north side of the cave. Jabari moved his tired body and tried to peep through, to see what lay behind the hole.
As he zoomed through the hole, he saw an endless tunnel, that meant there was more behind the cave and Jabari needed to know what was in there. Jabari searched for a good enough stone that he would use to breach the barrier.
The sooner he found it and was about to pick it up from the ground, he tripped and fell with a loud thud on the bones, his head striking heavily on a skull of some creature he couldn't even identify. He screamed, 'Ouch!' He helped himself up, touched the part of his head that was aching, to check if there was a cut or blood coming out, when he had confirmed that he was well and nothing serious, he picked up the stone and began to drill the hole, to enter what showed signs of a tunnel. The cave where he hid appeared to look very deserted and old. It's obvious, or there is a possibility, that its inhabitants were dead a long time ago. He switched to digging it harder with all his strength until it started creating cracks. On seeing that, he multiplied his digging with an addition of strength and vigor until it broke through, making it good enough for a species of his kind to pass through.
After it broke, he realized that it was indeed a tunnel which happened to be very old, covered with cobwebs and small spiders almost everywhere. Jabari could easily notice the spiders by his red glowing eyes. The good thing was they did not react against him, they appeared dormant. They must be deadly dreaming in their dark phantom world. He continued moving further. Thanks to the eyesight of his Vampire nature, he never needed light to perfectly see, otherwise this was definitely going to be the most difficult time of his life. Jabari could see that the tunnel was made of pan bricks, but their color had changed to dark brown and white powder clustered on top of them. He walked for about ten minutes when he came to the end of the tunnel and there was another interesting sight to behold, a door made of steel, stained with lust almost everywhere, chains and a lock.
Jabari Dakarai looked for a stone and started smashing the chains and lock until it broke. He pulled out the latch and pushed the door, which gave a squeaking sound as it slid open. The inside smelled strong dust but the most interesting thing is that it appeared to be like an ancient castle.
It was really an amazing sight to behold, what an interesting glimpse that stood right in front of him. It was like entering a museum except there were not many artifacts, the building itself produced a strong energy which gave him a cold chill all-over his body. He had walked into many rooms before he came across the throne room. In front of the throne room was a gold table with a vault on top of it. Jabari went forward, picked up the fault, shook it, there sounded something inside it. Therefore, he broke into the vault and found an ancient book. He dusted the book, which was dark brown and almost appearing ancient new. He flipped the cover page, on the first page were written the words, Fuse With Me. Jabari Dakarai read the words loudly to himself with a frowning face.
'Fuse With Me?'
With immediate effect, the book pulled away from Jabari Dakarai's hand as it floated in the air, giving a glowing and shimmering light. It began to emit rays of light like the infrared. The light brightened the entire throne room, as the rays moved at the speed of light and struck Jabari Dakarai Body. Then a disintegration phase followed as the book completely dismantled itself, as it fused with Jabari Dakarai and right away he fainted.
At that same instant, Jabari Dakarai's mind dived in his memory. It's just another normal day in Plagatoscal city when Veronica comes to Jabari's garden. Her smile is shining faintly, her glow is a reflection of her good mood. Jabari is still focused on her face, when her sweet, enchanting voice is heard, 'Good morning my dear friend?'
'Good morning!' Jabari replied in a cheerful good mood. Her next words were not expected.
'Could we go out partying this evening?' This is the kind of news Jabari likes to listen to.
