'There is a certain woman in syntethicus who used to give me contracts years back for catering services. Why don't we go and meet her tonight? She has many hotels; you are studying Information Technology and electronics engineering. Without doubt, you have a good chance of getting a contract with her?' The new information stirred Shanazer's mind.
Instantly, she was energized and full of strength. 'Are you serious?' Olivia smiled, looking at Shanazer like an idiot, 'You must know me well by now, I would never lie to you. I also need a job badly. The woman is good, she used to treat me like her own daughter.'
Shanazer's interest was picked. 'Do good people still exist in Ventrander?'
She shrugged though her spirit was lifted. She soon forgot about the hunger and thirst she felt earlier on. She made up her mind, 'Olivia, I am in, I am ready to do anything for money. Where can we find such a woman?'
Shanazer's eyes glowed, emitting rays of white light, and then water welled up. They were tears of joy mixed with luminosity. Olivia's heart was now at ease and was filled with happiness seeing Shanazer come back to life.
'In syntethicus right behind Rosilent Park,' Olivia outlined.
The latter message was not well received. Shanazer's energy level went low automatically when she heard the name. Because Rosilent Park was a hundred miles away from her place, however, the desire for food was much stronger and more pressing. She had to give in, adding some extra days to her life was a necessity.
Why should she give up that easily? When there is a glimpse of Hope? 'Wow, It's very far, but I am determined to do whatever it takes to make money, am in!' She assured Olivia.
Olivia stood up while looking at Shanazer with keen interest. She liked this new version of Shanazer, lost herself in a thought, then a sense of urgency drew out as she started preparing to leave, 'I will come and pick you up at eighteen o'clock p m and make sure you are ready.'
Shanazer's eyes lit up, and were full of gratitude. She made the right call to befriend Olivia. She might be her savior like she did for her some time back. Shanazer found Olivia beaten to death, naked, and all her clothes robbed. Brought her to her room, nursed her and cared for her until she was back on her feet. Moving two steps toward the door, 'I have to go. See you later.' Olivia said, before opening the door and disappearing. 'Bye!' Shouted Shanazer.
Shanazer's mood instantly had twisted to a ninety-degree. Her face, body, hands, legs, and feet experienced happiness and joy. A glimpse of hope sunk into her heart. It's like being granted a second life.
Shanazer decided to take a walk that afternoon. She moved slowly in Magaven Street, appreciating the beauty of nature. When she was bumped deliberately by a muscular man, she moved two steps back and just banged into another one before she turned to look at him. She was covered with a dark sackcloth.
'Help! Help!' Screamed Shanazer, in fear.
'Cover her mouth, Ferdinand!' Commanded the masculine man.
'I am convinced it's her, as he took out his phone to verify her identity.
'Yep! It's her.' The muscular man mumbled.
They dragged her to the black SUV, and as she continued to struggle for her life, they rolled her over into the back of an SUV.
Suddenly, there was a flash of bright blue light in her brain, 'SYSTEM LEVEL ONE ACTIVATING!'
A female vocal reverberated, 'SYSTEM ALERT, POSSIBLE THREAT, THE POTENTIAL OF WINNING AGAINST THE OPPONENT IS THIRTY PERCENT, I SUGGEST YOU USE THE MAGICAL PORTION. JUST SAY THE WORD!'
Say the word?
Shanazer was confused by the strange voice in her head, 'I ADVISE YOU TO TAKE THE ACTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!'
Shanazer knew that she was in trouble, so she just went with her gut.
Fire!
Shanazer's hands began to grow a fireball. Cavendan saw it first, 'Fire!' He screamed.
'What?' Asked the masculine man.
'Her hands are burning!' Shouted Cavendan, pushed the door and right away, jumped out of the speeding SUV.
By this time the ropes tied to Shanazer were burning. The muscular man turned to look at what caused such disruption and noise. The doors of the SUV swinging open, Shanazer's hands on fire.
'Oh my God! What are you?' Yelled the stunned, muscular man.
'Stop the damn car!' He shouted nervously.
'What sir?' Inquired the driver.
'Stop the damn car! Or we will explode!' Bellowed the muscular man.
The driver was so confused upon looking in the front rear mirror and automatically stepped on the brakes and the car skidded as it topped over and flipped three times before exploding.
When Cavendan saw this act, he scampered, without looking back. The ropes tying her legs, the sackcloth and her entire clothes were burnt. Shanazer got up and moved out of the burning SUV's flames. She stood naked on the road.
Oh, no! Now what do I do now? Shanazer did not know what to think of this entire scene, because such things only happen in dreams or movies. She was sure she was not dreaming, and it could not be a dream. All this began happening after she took a walk. This she remembers very well.
Maybe it was an illusion? No! It can't be, this is me.
She pinched her hand. Pain was evident.
Crap! Am I getting mad?
'NO SHANAZER! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!'
What is happening? Inquired Shanazer.
'SYSTEM SYNTHESIZING TEMPORARILY CLOTHES!' The female automated voice said.
Shanazer could see a fine purple dress weave her body.
'I AM THE VERSION OF YOU.'
I don't understand? Shanazer expressed her concern. As she started walking back to her room.
The automated voice carried on, 'I AM YOUR SYSTEM DESIGNED TO MAKE YOUR LIFE EASY.'
The system paused for a second, 'LET'S CHECK OUT MY COMPATIBILITY.'

'YOU HAVE UNLOCKED THE FOUR ETHEREAL FORMS OF POWER.'
Shanazer did not understand the system thing. By the time she reached her room, she was extremely exhausted. She straight away went to her bed, and slept. She was awakened by a familiar knock on the door. She automatically knew who it was. With a drowsy, weak voice, 'Oli, come in.'
Immediately, the door was pushed and it gave a squeaking sound as usual. Olivia entered wearing a good mood, her confident self. She looked at the sleepy face of Shanazer, who was still in bed, 'Get up Shanazer, it's time to go?'
Shanazer glanced at Olivia with sleepy eyes. She remembered their agreement, without taking much time, she pulled herself off the bed. Dry-cleaned her clothes, combed her hair. Geared up her shoes. Within two minutes, she was all set.
'Oli, let's go dear.'
Olivia looked at her friend in amazement. She was impressed by her quick response.
Her eyes still on her, she smiled, 'Sure.'
Shanazer and Olivia slipped out of the house. They were now on their way leaving the building when a rousing voice struck Shanazer's ears, inducing her heart to thump uncontrollably fast, 'Hey Shanazer! I am here for my money. It has been too long, you know that?'
He paused momentarily to let the message sink in, 'My patience has run out.'
A dubious teasing smile flashed on his face, 'Failing to pay me back will result in you coming to work for me for the next five years, cutting your tongue out and having your legs broken.'
