'Sure, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try out our luck one more time!' Shanazer said to Olivia, both friends were in high spirits, as they commenced walking. The town was about thirty minutes from Sensation Blue Hotel.
In about thirty minutes, Shanazer and Olivia were at AUDREY'S SHOPPING GROCERY. Olivia pushed the glass door and entered, followed by Shanazer behind her. Immediately Auntie Audrey saw Olivia, she swiftly moved from the counter to meet her, 'Auntie Audrey! How are you?' As Olivia rushed to hug Auntie Audrey, who also replicated the same vibe, 'I am well, how are you and the family back home?' Responded Auntie Audrey, the two were squeezing each other with a warm hug.
'They are all fine, we have missed you a lot, Auntie Audrey.' Olivia answered.
'I miss you more you guys!' Countered Auntie Audrey, and then added, 'it's just that the shop has stolen most of my free time, you know.'
Olivia nodded her head. Implying she perfectly understood Auntie Audrey's situation.
'Oh, Auntie, this is Shanazer, my best friend, Shanazer Auntie Audrey.' introduced Olivia.
'It's nice to meet you Shanazer,' Said Auntie Audrey as she stretched her hand to shake Shanazer's. 'The pleasure is all mine Auntie Audrey,' replied Shanazer.
'Alright, you guys, I want you to help me with stacking the new merchandise. Follow me!' She ordered them. Auntie Audrey took them to the shelves where there were open boxes on the ground with a variety of foodstuffs, such as canned fish, powdered milk, biscuits, snacks and many more others.
Right away, Shanazer and Olivia got to work. A few minutes later, three men entered the shop. When Shanazer saw the three strange men, she felt a strange feeling of being unsafe.
'GET ALERT! POSSIBLE THREAT, THE CHANCE OF DEFEATING THE OPPONENT IS SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT. USE YOUR FIRST AND LEGS TO AVOID CAUSING DESTRUCTION TO THE GOODS.' The system informed Shanazer.
At that moment, Shanazer remembered what happened earlier on that day. She had not yet processed the incident. She decided to follow the lead of the voice of the system.
Without delay, the three armed robbers pulled out pistols and pointed at Auntie Audrey. Olivia and Shanazer were left off the scene by the three men because they were covered by high shelves of goods.
'If you value your life, cooperate nicely, and we will move out of here without anyone getting hurt!' Adjured the bulged man. And fired one short, up the roof.
'Huh, ye, yes sir,' stammered Auntie Audrey. She was gripped with extreme fear to the point of shivering. As if she was freezing.
Both Olivia and Auntie Audrey were so scared to their wits. For Shanazer, it was a different story, she didn't even flinch.
'Handover all the cash you have, and we will be on our way!' Demanded the bulged man. He continued, 'And Bandoga, go ahead and empty the safe box!' he ordered. Directing him to move behind the counter.
Shanazer started crawling on the floor, carefully approaching toward the two men in front of the counter.
'What are you doing?' Whispered Olivia to Shanazer, who gestured with her first finger on her lips indicating she should keep quiet.
When Shanazer had reached a good position for her plan, she rushed at lightening speed, hitting the bulged man with a fist at the pit of his gut, who tumbled and fell down and struck a swift punch at the third thug on the lower jaw, and he too fell terribly.
However, the man on the counter saw how his comrades were taken down so easily and held Auntie Audrey at gun point.
'Stop it! Or I will blow her brains out?' Threatened Bandoga. This caused Shanazer to come to a halt.
'BAD TIMING! USE ZERO POINT FIVE MAGIC PORTION.' The system suggested.
Zero point five poison gas! Pronounced Shanazer in her head, as she stretched her hand pointing at Bandoga's hand, and a green substance shot out of her finger, and struck the targeted Bandoga's hand.
Bandoga let go of Auntie Audrey, dropped the pistol and, 'Howl!' He screamed in pain.
Auntie Audrey called the police and the three thugs were arrested.
'How did you manage to capture these thieves?' Inquired the police man. Auntie Audrey looked at Shanazer.
'Hum, my uncle taught me some defensive moves and that's what I used.' Shanazer explained nonchalantly.
'Oh, is that so, you must have interesting moves then?' Riposted the police officer and carried on, 'In the future you should consider getting into the army young lady.' Suggested the police officer. Shanazer nodded her head shyly.
On another continent inside Oxygen Multi Cooperation Base Four, a senior scientist was busy working with samples of test tubes which contained blood, urine, stew when the computer system he was using showed a match in DNA on the display. It was Zenedeth.
'Guevente, come and check out this?'
As he opened a green file on the table, it had pictures of a baby who had apparently disappeared without a trace. He flipped the photos quite fast, his face beaming with excitement about his breakthrough. He came across a page with codes and components that could complete their experiment. He passed the file to his comrade Guevente. He went through the file rapidly, eyes wide open, it simply suggested they could not believe what the eyes witnessed. When he had finished, he jumped up and hugged Zenedeth tightly. The senior scientist entered the codes on a huge touch keyboard about two meters in length and one meter in width. Shortly, the hologram brought up Shanazer's pictures when she was nine years and the updated picture at sixteen. Her name popped up, age, city and her current location.
'Zenedeth, this will definitely make us rich!'
Zenedeth nodded his head. 'Yes my friend, our hard work will finally pay up this time.' And they both laughed uncontrollably.
Back in Veena city, Shanazer and Olivia had just finished doing their business at Auntie Audrey's Shop and had just left the shop. When the Town hologram turned on, its glorious sound reverberated in their ears. Straight away, Shanazer and Olivia paused, they knew what was coming next. A man appeared on the hologram, he was kind of charming, nearly in his sixties, 'Attention everyone!' The man on the hologram paused to give people a chance to reposition themselves. Shanazer and Olivia made a move closer to the Hologram. Hologram were a form of huge screen display scattered throughout the entire city for alerting important information to the citizens. They knew that whenever the Hologram popped up there was vital news from the military or OxyamCorp. More people drew near to the hologram. The man in the hologram was very huge, his face was quite rough, his chin was smooth. He wore a combat with main stars on his left chest, he was definitely a military man. He then resumed speaking, 'Good evening everyone? My name is Captain Gerald Dracon.' He paused for a second, then resumed, 'The OxyamCorp Base One is currently recruiting student technicians in the following fields. Electrical engineers, Electronic Engineers, aircraft engineers, Information Technology technicians and anything related to aviation engineering. Come and apply at OxyamCorp Base One. Thank you for listening, and goodnight.' The moment he ended his speech, the Hologram turned off. Shanazer was struck with exuberance about what she had just heard. She covered her mouth with her right hand. She could not hold her emotions while standing, so she knelt down and pressed both hands on her mouth. Tears began streaming from her eyes onto her cheeks and on top of her hands. She was out of words, people watched with astonishment at the drama unfolding, yet Shanazer was lost in her dream world. Olivia snatched her friend out when she exclaimed, 'Wow! Your long awaited dream has come knocking at your doorstep. This is your opportunity, sis, to soar high.' Shanazer had been hoping, praying and wishing for an opportunity to be a part of OxyamCorp. She was absolutely sure that the moment she stepped into that building she would say bye to her poverty, at the same time become a powerful figure, and be able to defend herself if her past caught up with her. Even when it had been a year, deep inside her, she was keenly aware that those ruthless, merciless assassins and whoever had laid a bounty of two billion US dollars on her would come at some point to look for her. She was sure, because they had not achieved their goal at the end of it. They just lost her miraculously as she found herself here in this city, where she is hiding and resting from running. That doesn't mean her pursuers have given up, they are likely to catch up with her some day and she needed to be ready for them when the day comes. Now there was an opening, it was an unbelievable scene for her. OxyamCorp was her safe heaven and safe net. If she could get her fingers there, she would rise up and emerge as a powerful force to reckon with. She mastered her strength as she verbalized. 'Yes, I have been waiting for this moment for such a long time. Thank God it's here, it seems like the Universe is playing tricks on me. Am I dreaming, Olivia?' Olivia's eyes were also wet with tears. She was full of contentedness and satisfaction for her friend. She politely remarked, 'No, sister, it's all real, I will get to witness you rising to glory. I will be cheering for you.' At this moment a thousand thoughts jumped up and down in Shanazer's mind, 'I have to go there now, sis, please escort me?' Olivia did not even waste much time, she came out with a powerful, energetic vocal, 'Yes. Let's go, sister.'
OxyamCorp Base One was on their way home from town. They walked very fast, like trained soldiers. One hour later, they stood at OxymCorp Base One entrance waiting for their turn. OxymCorp Base One was a very huge facility. It covered about an area of five thousand meters by five thousand meters. The entrance itself had about five gates. Each gate had a different function. Shanazer and Olivia stood at the front of the first one. There was one security guard who guided all those who were applying. Before the front gate to the left there was a small gray machine, which looked like an A T M machine. It consisted of only two buttons, the red and the green one. This is the machine Shanazer was instructed to go to and press the green button. It produced a ticket which had a code number. She grabbed the ticket, went back in the queue, and she had to wait for her number to be called. About twenty-five minutes later, her number was called. An automated voice reverberated, 'Number fifteen?'
