'Adman, I need a little bit of time, we are on our way to find a job in syntethicus and once I get paid I will give you back your money.' Shanazer pleaded with begging eyes.
'Yes Adaman, please give her some time.' Olivia intervened.
'Who are you poking your nose at other people's business?' Adaman snapped.
'It's the useless Olivia from Grandemadena's family.' Explained Edwardo.
'Is that so? Even you, a loser, want to control my dealings? Shut your stinking mouth? Or I will put you in a wheelchair?' Adaman threatened.
'Actually, I have changed my mind, I will have you both tonight in my bed, ha!' He licked his lips.
'Bring them with us!' He commanded his men.
'Oh! Poor girl, how does she take money from the devil himself? She won't come out of his trap no matter what.' Commented Mrs Javelin sympathetically.
'Are you aware that she does not have any family? I feel pity for her, anyway, as for now, there is nothing we can do about it.' Margret contributed.
'These are the kind of problems the military should be able to help with,' whispered Mister Samuel Gadagat.
Two of Adman's men stepped forward to grab Shanazer and Olivia when a most powerful voice intercepted them, as a spontaneous figure emerged from the crowd which had just gathered at a distant.
'Stop?'
The two men ceased in there tracks. The crowd shifted their attention to the figure as he moved past the two Adaman men.
'Wow! Is that Tairen, the legend?' Whispered Casper.
'Oh my goodness! It's him, I can't believe it?' Grandma Beatrice exclaimed.
Adaman was struck with shock, for he perfectly knew who the old man was and what he was capable of.
Tairen paused momentarily to look at Shanazer with a pure smile, 'Shanazer, carry on with your program, and I will deal with them for you.' Instructed Tairen.
'Thank you, Tairen!'
Shanazer responded, with a bright smile on her face and the two girls slipped away, without any resistance.
'Oh no! How does Shanazer know Tairen? I have a bad feeling.' murmured Adaman to himself while he trembled violently.
In about three hours, Shanazer and Olivia reached Sensational Blue Hotel. Olivia walked right to the security guardroom. In a gentle, humbly manner, after she arrived she picked up a conversation, 'Hello!'
The security guard looked at Olivia in a weird way. After he had examined her, with an awful tone, he replied, 'Hello.'
Not paying much attention to Olivia, who didn't care either about his bad attitude. She was here for business, nothing more. If he wanted to be prejudiced, that was fine with her, since it's a free world, people have their own opinions on others. Thereby, with a calm demeanor, she inquired, 'Is Mrs Blake around?'
The security guard seemed irritated by Olivia for no reason at all. It appeared he just disliked her the moment he laid eyes on her.
In order to get rid of this bugged insect, he responded disrespectfully, his spitefulness clearly visible to anyone who had two naked eyes, 'Yes, she is in a meeting. Do you have an appointment with her?'
Olivia was put in a corner by the latter question. She exhaled slowly, 'No, but we would like to meet her. I know her in person.'
The security guard looked at Olivia pitifully for ten good seconds, he yawned bitterly, 'You can take a seat outside there and wait for her. As she goes out of the hotel you can meet her.'
Olivia excitedly voiced, 'OK, thank you.'
That's all she needed. The guard said nothing more and continued doing his business. Olivia and Shanazer went and sat down where he had directed them to sit. Shanazer brought out her opinion on the earlier incident and the behavior she had observed from the security guard.
'It looks like he despises us and never wanted to give us any information.'
Olivia listened to her friend attentively with respect, she then commented, 'It doesn't matter, the madam will come out, meet us and this guy will feel ashamed. Don't worry sis. It's a good thing she is available because she is a very busy woman.'
They waited about forty-five minutes. Finally, the gate opened, a grayish E-class Mercedes-Benz drove out slowly. In a flash, Olivia moved forward to the vehicle. When the woman on the left side saw Olivia she was filled with an explicable joy. Olivia broke the serenity moment.
'How are you mum?'
The woman ignored her, still flashing an all-smiley face. With her own question in a curious way, 'Where have you been, young lady?'
Olivia fidgeted, and in a shy, but calm voice riposted, 'Boss, I have been very sick for the past three months.'
Without doubt, she lied. The woman could not dwell on her words, she ignored her response completely. Interesting, she knew why Olivia was there and what she really wanted.
'I have work for you, come over tomorrow. Levy needs an assistant in the kitchen, he will take you as her helper.'
This ignited excitement in Olivia's heart, plainly seen in her face and body posture, and she instantly expressed her joy.
'Thank you mum.'
She paused and then continued, 'I also came with a friend who has multiple skills. She could be a great asset to you mum.'
When Shanazer heard that remark, she right away moved close to the car. Mrs Blake gave a mischievous grin, 'Is that right?'
As she twisted her head and eyes in the direction of Shanazer to behold her. At this moment, Shanazer had figured out that the woman in the E-Class Mercedes-Benz was Mrs Blake. Mrs Blake assessed Shanazer with calm, fierce eyes. Shanazer fiddled, but held herself in order not to lose her composure.
Mrs Blake looked amused, was it Shanazer or the introduction, 'What is your occupation young lady?'
Olivia fixed herself together, swallowed the saliva to clear her throat for easy flow of words, in an assertive tone paraphrased, 'I can do any job, mum, but I am studying Information Technology and electronics engineering at Horizon University going in my second year.'
During this era a second year student qualified to do most technical works, especially craft related. Horizon University was the highest educational institution in the whole of Veena city because it existed on all the four continents in Ventrander. Mrs Blake was aware of that fact.
She followed up with another question, 'Did you come with documentation proof or I D from the University?'
Shanazer was not prepared for this. She did not remember to carry her documents because she didn't consider the possibility that they might become a handful at some point.
'No mum, can I bring them tomorrow?' Shanazer replied quickly, just to secure a job.
Mrs Blake smiled mischievously,
'How do you go looking for a job without documents?'
Shanazer felt foolish, shame encompassed her and she did not know what to say next. She crossed her fingers hoping things would turn her way while she fidgeted violently. She needed a job desperately.
Subconsciously she uttered, 'I will come with them tomorrow mum, my apologies.'
There was silence momentarily, Mrs Blake thought, for some good seconds. She knew Olivia well enough and trusted her work ethics. Therefore, she based her judgment entirely on her and decided to give this strange beautiful girl something to do, 'Come back tomorrow with her.'
Pointing at Olivia. She paused and resumed after a short glance at Olivia, 'Levy will take you both.'
Levy is a chef at Sensation Blue Hotel.
With an automatic mood change effect, Shanazer became overwhelmed with happiness, her facial expression changed to brightness and her body language spoke volumes.
'Thank you so much mum for the opportunity. You will not regret it.'
The E-class Mercedes-Benz engine started, and the car slowly began moving, as it turned left onto the main road. Mrs Blake just waved her hand to indicate it was fine.
She gazed at Olivia, 'See you around, young lady, and don't disappoint me this time.'
Olivia smiled shyly, it seemed like Olivia must have some interesting history with Mrs Blake, one might bet she must have been a funny character and, right away, she made an audible sound, 'Yes boss.'
They watched the car leave. The two sisters breathed in and out simultaneously, a heavy sigh of relief. Shanazer tilted her curved eyes over to the hotel, for it was a great luxury building to behold. She had never seen such a luxurious building in her entire life. She couldn't believe that such a facility was owned by one person. Her mind raced with a thousand thoughts.
My goodness, this woman is loaded. Certain people just make you believe that anything is possible. Wow! I hope to be just like her one day and even much more.
The two creatures were filled with so much inexplicable joy. Shanazer once again dived into her mind.
Sometimes, when things are so hard, we forget that there must be an opposite somewhere outside our thinking sphere. Well, I am really inspired by Mrs Blake.
The security guard just looked at the two beings with envious eyes. Olivia shouted with so much strength and power, 'We have done it, ha ha! Let's go home sis!'
If there were people ten miles away, undoubtedly they heard her voice. Shanazer looked at Olivia once more with eyes of gratitude.
She had a beaming smiley face, 'Yes, yes, my sister. Let's go.'
Their faces were merry, and glittering with euphoria.
Right away, Olivia's small phone started vibrating, then a ringing tone followed thereafter.
'I have to take this call.'
She looked at Shanazer for confirmation, who nodded her head.
'Olivia, speaking?'
A joyful voice came from the other end of the phone.
'Your sweet auntie here. Could you come to my shop? I need you to help me stack new stocks.' Auntie Audrey said.
'Auntie Audrey!' Olivia Exclaimed.
'Right, you got it.' Complemented Auntie Audrey.
'Well, I am with a friend. We will be there in less than an hour.' Olivia explained.
'That's fine with me, the easier my work gets. See you then.'
The line went dead to prevent Olivia changing her mind.
'I suppose you heard the conversation. We will definitely make transport for tomorrow. Let's pass through town?' Olivia suggested.
