Chapter 9 - Hogwarts Letter

Strong.

Very strong.

That was the thought of almost all the spectators when the display on the dark curtain came to an end.

The Harry Potter from the parallel world could no longer be described merely as a genius.

He was simply monstrous.

The person who reacted most instinctively was the Harry Potter from this world.

Reflecting on his own life, a look of sadness appeared on his face.

He had been bullied at home and at school throughout his childhood.

But what about the other Harry?

He not only lived a peaceful life, but he was also a monstrous genius.

His achievements in magic impressed even the greatest wizards in the world.

While Harry was lost in his thoughts, Ron, sitting beside him, had a shocked expression.

Unlike Harry, he had some knowledge of the magical world.

He recognized that what the Harry on the curtain had accomplished was undoubtedly extraordinary.

The ability to perform magic effortlessly, even without a wand, might be something common for great wizards who were already at the top before they went to school.

After all, although there are rules prohibiting children under 11 years old from acquiring wands and learning magic, it would be impossible for all wizarding families to follow these rules strictly.

What parent wouldn't deliberately allow their child to grab their wand and cast a few spells?

Who wouldn't want their child to be a "dragon" and win at the starting line?

Even Ron had used his father's wand to try a few spells, although almost all of them had failed.

That was the reason for his surprise, and that wasn't all.

The [magical training method] undoubtedly shocked him and all the other wizards.

The students in the corridor were in an uproar, and messages appeared in the chat group.

Gellert Grindelwald: "There are no words to describe. This boy is a true genius. He will undoubtedly become very powerful."

Albus Dumbledore: "I agree. His [magical training method] will certainly help him secure a prominent place in the wizarding world."

Minerva McGonagall: "This Harry Black is a genius. How wonderful it would be if he joined Gryffindor. I'm sure he will, after all, the Harry from our world was."

Filius Flitwick: "I wouldn't be so sure, Professor McGonagall. With his insatiable thirst for knowledge, he is more likely to go to Ravenclaw. If not, I might need to have a 'friendly chat' with the Sorting Hat."

Sorting Hat: "…"

Sorting Hat: "!!!"

Do you really have ill intentions with an honest hat? Is there still any justice in this world?

Severus Snape: "I regret to inform you, but your pursuit of knowledge seems merely a means to gain power. He will surely be sorted into Slytherin."

James Potter: "Snape, long time no see! How have you been?"

Severus Snape: "That's none of your business, Potter!"

Snape's face darkened at the sight of his supposed romantic rival, and he couldn't help but wish to cast a death curse.

Unfortunately, the man was already dead.

As everyone debated, a change occurred in the light curtains.

The dark abyss curtain withdrew, and the white light curtain appeared once again.

It seemed that the story of Harry from our world would now be shown.

James Potter: "If I'm not mistaken, at this moment Harry should be receiving his letter from Hogwarts, right?"

Lily Potter: "Finally, I'll see Harry going to Hogwarts. Will he make friends on the Hogwarts Express?"

Harry Potter: "…"

Harry chose to remain silent. After all, everything would soon be revealed.

As he reflected, the video began to play.

[The escape of the boa constrictor earned Harry his longest punishment. Insignificant things, like Dudley terrorizing Harry about what awaited him at the local secondary school, and his friends practicing their favorite sport, chasing Harry, happened almost daily.

One day, while Petunia was dyeing Dudley's old clothes gray for Harry, the mail arrived, and he received his first letter from Hogwarts. But before he could read it, Dudley grabbed it and handed it to their father.

Upon reading the letter, Vernon and Petunia were horrified, expelled the boys from the kitchen, and debated whether their house was being watched.

They unanimously decided to ignore the letter. Furthermore, they took Harry out of the cupboard under the stairs and moved him to Dudley's second bedroom.

But that wasn't the end. The next day, another letter arrived, and Vernon, in his attempt to grab it while Harry held it, knocked Dudley down and sent Harry to his room.

The following period was a true game of cat and mouse, with Harry trying in every way to get the letter, and Vernon doing everything to stop him. He even closed the mailbox.

On Friday, no fewer than twelve letters had arrived. As they couldn't get through the mailbox, they crawled under the door. On Saturday, 24 letters were sent, and this continued until Sunday.

Mr. Dursley, pleased to think that there would be no letters on a Sunday, was shocked when a barrage of letters burst through the chimney like gunfire.

Furious, he ordered everyone to pack their bags and took them to a hotel, thinking this would prevent further trouble. However, a receptionist appeared with another letter for Harry.

After another fit of rage, the Dursleys fled to a tower on a rock in the middle of the sea, where a toothless man took them in a boat that looked ready to fall apart.

Once settled, they went to sleep after a tiring day. Mr. and Mrs. Dursley slept upstairs, while Dudley slept on the sofa.

Harry did not sleep. He drew a cake on the floor, imagining it would be his birthday cake.

When Dudley's clock struck midnight, and Harry made his wish, a roar shook the tower, and a three-meter-tall giant burst through the door, entering with a goofy smile.

Vernon, who came down the stairs with a gun, was helpless when the giant bent the barrel like rubber.

After giving Harry a cake and preparing food for the malnourished boy, Hagrid told him a bit about the wizarding world and finally handed him his letter from Hogwarts.

Harry then discovered that he was famous in the wizarding world for defeating a Dark Lord.

Perplexed, he wondered how he could have done such a thing since even Dudley could kick him like a soccer ball.

With a spell that gave Dudley a pig's tail, leaving the Dursleys terrified, Harry and Hagrid departed for Diagon Alley to buy school supplies.]
