Chapter 11 - The Truth

In the Great Hall of Hogwarts, Snape was already frowning in anger.

Now everything was clear.

The reason the Sorting Hat took so long to assign Harry to a house was that he resisted being placed in Slytherin!

Snape, of course, was not angry with Harry. After all, the boy had known nothing about the wizarding world just a few months ago.

His fury was directed at Hagrid and Ron, who had poisoned Harry's mind by claiming that Slytherin only produced dark wizards.

That was a great joke to Snape.

If you asked him which house had the highest percentage of people in Azkaban, Snape would undoubtedly say Ravenclaw.

Superficially, that house seemed to be on a mere quest for knowledge.

But Snape knew that many of them, thinking themselves smarter than the others, developed a cunning nature and often got involved in conspiracies everywhere.

After all, the reason for being sent to Azkaban wasn't just murder; even smuggling magical creatures could be sufficient grounds.

Snape was also disgusted with Draco. He had been a decisive factor in Harry's resistance to joining Slytherin.

It wasn't just Snape; nearly half of the students cast critical glances at Draco, secretly laughing at his performance on the screen of light.

However, Hermione's focus seemed to be on something completely different.

Hermione glared at Ron, her face red with anger.

"Ugh! You actually called me crazy! You're the crazy one; your whole family is crazy!"

While she worried about the selection, others spoke behind her back, which only irritated her further.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! This won't happen again."

Ron quickly apologized. After all, he was wrong this time.

"Fred, our Ron is really something. He was the one who brought Harry to our house."

"That's true, but we also have to thank Malfoy for showing Harry the true face of Slytherin, haha!!"

The twins didn't lower their voices, and all the students from the four houses heard them clearly.

The Slytherin students ground their teeth constantly, their fierce eyes glaring at the twins as if they wanted to devour them.

If it weren't for the professors and the barrier of the Comparison Room, they would have already drawn their wands.

They also shot glances at Draco, who was embarrassed by the exposure. Some had already decided to distance themselves from him to avoid misunderstandings.

Along with Draco, Harry also felt embarrassed.

Not only because his conversation with the Sorting Hat had been revealed, but because his entire journey up to that point had been described so clearly.

It felt as if his life was exposed for everyone to read.

But no matter what everyone felt, when the beam of dark light began to move, everyone fell into deep thoughts.

It could be said that from here on, the paths of the two Harrys would diverge.

Why? Because they entered the magical world with distinct variations. Previously, both had been in the Muggle world, in a small family.

But now, they were heading to the magical world. Without a doubt, it would be more exciting to watch.

With those expectations, the reproduction of the curtain of light began.

[After the trip to the zoo, the Dursleys decided to give Harry his early birthday present, a pair of gold-rimmed glasses. It could be said that this improved his temperament on some levels. With his already impressive appearance, it was just an additional touch.]

[For an entire month, Harry's life remained continuous and monotonous. In the morning, he went to school, and in the afternoon, he tried in every innovative way to improve his magic. In his hands, Harry could control almost all the elements around him. The air flowed through his arms, and the earth could be molded at will.]

[His psychic powers, as he called them, made great progress. From levitation to powerful telekinesis, Harry developed various skills in this field, relying on the knowledge he had acquired over the years.]

[His Transfiguration techniques even allowed him to transform objects into living beings, but, without exception, they were always dead. The bird did not fly; the cat did not meow. But at least there was some progress.]

[Harry seriously doubted whether it was possible to create life or a soul, something that, in his understanding, only God could do.]

[At night, he performed his technique, the [Magical Training Method], which had been refined several times over the years. More martial arts were incorporated, and more meridian points were added to the magical power cycle.]

[His physical body had been strengthened over the years, and the amount of magical power was sufficient to sustain his practices and innovations.]

[At that moment, on a Wednesday morning, Harry and the Dursleys were having breakfast when the sound of the mail arrived.]

["It must be the mail; I'll go get it."]

[Petunia said with a smile as she prepared to get up.]

["I'll get it, Aunt Petunia. Enjoy your breakfast."]

[Harry interrupted her with a smile and quickly got up.]

[Harry reached the door and picked up the letters from the floor. There was one from Vernon's sister, Marge, and another bill. But when he saw the third letter, his eyebrows raised slightly. There was a letter addressed to him.]

[It wasn't strange to receive letters; after all, his school locker was full of love notes from adoring girls. But this was the first time he had received letters at home.]

[When Harry looked at the recipient, his eyes narrowed. Not only was the house and street described, but even his room? How could someone he didn't know know where he slept?]

[With these doubts, Harry stuffed the letter into his clothes, returned to the kitchen, and handed the other letters to Aunt Petunia. He then went back to his room, lay on his bed, and began to carefully examine the letter. Soon, he noticed the crest with four animals on the seal.]

["A lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake surrounding a large letter 'H'. What kind of school would use a symbol like that?"]

[Harry prided himself on his memory and was sure he had never seen this school's symbol before. Still, he decided to open the letter. After all, the effort to discover even the location of his room was not simple. Let's see what tricks were involved.]

[After opening the letter and reading it carefully, Harry's room fell into a deep silence. In minutes, his expression changed for the first time in years. He was shocked and wondered if it was a joke. His body trembled involuntarily.]

["School of Witchcraft and Wizardry of Hogwarts... Albus Dumbledore... Minerva McGonagall... Is... is all this real? Am I a wizard?"]

[Harry plunged into deep reflection for several minutes, seemingly organizing his thoughts. Then, he calmed down with a serious expression, walked to the Dursleys' room, and knocked on the door.]

[Soon, Petunia opened with a smile upon seeing it was Harry.]

["Little Harry, what do you need?"]

["Aunt Petunia, could you come to my room for a moment? I have something to tell you."]

[Petunia was surprised by his seriousness and involuntarily agreed, following Harry to his room, where she sat next to him on the bed.]

["Tell me, Harry, what do you want to ask me? You can tell me anything."]

[Harry looked at his aunt and handed her the letter that was in his hands. When Petunia saw the symbol on the letter, it was as if her heart stopped beating for a moment. Her face went pale, and her eyes took a long time to find Harry's as she prepared to say something.]
