The wedding officiant continued his speech. However, An Nuan was not listening well. Her mind was preoccupied with her decision to marry someone else.
Across her, Lin Xiao Feng was holding both her hands with a serious look on his face. His eyes were looking into hers with a glint of something that she could not understand.
An Nuan wondered just what was going through Lin Xiao Feng's mind at this time.

After all, he came to the venue to attend her wedding. Unexpectedly, the guest has now turned to the groom.

The wedding officiant seemed to understand that the bride was not paying attention.
He let out a low cough before looking at An Nuan again. "Miss An Nuan."
"Yes."
The wedding officiant flashed her a soft smile. "Do you take Lin Xiao Feng as your lawful wedded husband? To promise to love and cherish him, in good and in bad times, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, for better and for worse, to support each other through times of trouble and rejoice in times of happiness, and to give all your love to him for as long as you both shall live?"
An Nuan felt a bit dizzy listening to the wedding officiant's long speech.
She looked at Lin Xiao Feng again and this time she noted the unmistakable glint of nervousness in his eyes.
An Nuan wondered if Lin Xiao Feng was worried that she was not going to answer the wedding officiant's question.
After a long silence, the guests began to get anxious as well. Then, An Nuan finally answered, "I do."
The guests started to whisper when she finally answered. Perhaps, many of them had expected An Nuan to change her mind at the last minute and cancel the wedding.
Then, the wedding officiant turned to Lin Xiao Feng and asked him the same question.
An Nuan thought that Lin Xiao Feng might need some time to think properly before answering the question. Unexpectedly, the man gave his answer after a few seconds of pause.
"I do."
An Nuan's heart skipped a beat as she heard Lin Xiao Feng's deep and steady voice echoing in the hall.
The wedding officiant proceeded to say a few more words.
Ren Di and Su Ming Yuan walked closer to deliver their wedding ring.
An Nuan slid the ring onto Lin Xiao Feng's finger and chuckled upon finding that the ring was slightly loose on his finger. After all, Lin Xiao Feng's fingers were slender as compared to Pei Zhi Yi's.
When it came to Lin Xiao Feng's turn, An Nuan was surprised to see that he was holding a ring that she had never seen before. The ring was slid to her finger and surprisingly, it fit her perfectly.
The ring on the finger was not something that Pei Zhi Yi had chosen.
An Nuan wondered where Lin Xiao Feng got his ring.
Then, someone from the wedding planner staff walked over to hand over a few documents.
An Nuan walked over to the side where a table was prepared. She was still so overwhelmed by the ceremony that she was not able to think properly.
Right now, An Nuan was following the ceremony as to the wedding officiant's instructions.
She put her signature on the wedding certificate and Lin Xiao Feng did the same.
The wedding officiant checked on the documents before looking at the bride and groom alternately with a smile on his face. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. Mr. Lin, you may kiss the bride."
The wedding officiant's words made An Nuan pause.
Her hands balled into a tight fist. Then, there was a trace of panic in her eyes.
She realized that she had not thought of this part of the ceremony before and had not discussed with Lin Xiao Feng what they should do.
The thought of kissing Lin Xiao Feng in front of others made her anxious.
An Nuan did not think that she could kiss someone that she did not love.
Of course, Lin Xiao Feng noticed the turbulence in An Nuan's eyes. Seeing her panicking made his heart feel heavier.

He watched her eyes widen as he tilted his head and lowered his head closer.
Before their lips would touch, Lin Xiao Feng finally stopped. "Stay still," Lin Xiao Feng whispered. Their lips were an inch apart from each other's.
The two of them stayed that way for a brief second before Lin Xiao Feng finally let An Nuan go.
Then, the crowd started to cheer and clap, thinking that they had witnessed the couple's first kiss.
An Nuan inhaled a few deep breaths to calm down. She really thought that Lin Xiao Feng was going to kiss her.
Unexpectedly, this man was playing with the angle to make others think that they had kissed.
An Nuan glanced at Lin Xiao Feng a few times and realized that this man was being considerate.
