At the end of the final exam, all four groups stood on the podium for their group result. As expected, Yuqin's group won first and received a pass. Two other groups passed as well but only one group failed. As everyone cheered for the team that won, Yuqin saw Lingling and Han Rong waving at her. She couldn't believe her eyes but to maintain her professionalism, she smiled and waved back. Since they received their final exam result, they were free to go and pack up. During the entire three months in this academy, Yuqin gained new experiences that can help her in the long run. She made new friends and experienced heartbreak but ultimately, it will help to shape her into her best self.
Yuqin said her farewell then hugged her classmates, and finally Sam.
"Thank you, Instructor." Yuqin maintained her distance and Sam fully understood that.
"Any time, Yuqin. I wish you the best. I'm sorry if I went too far." Sam apologized to her since he knew she had a boyfriend but wanted her to separate.
"I'm glad you understood. Take care." They both shook hands and they went the opposite way. Yuqin looked back but Lingling and Han Rong were no where to be found. She looked for them everywhere.
I must've been hallucinating, she thought.
Just then, someone tapped on her shoulder. It was Lingling. She was crying happy tears and said, "Sister Yuqin, you didn't know how much I missed you for the past three months. I almost couldn't survive. I was waiting for your messages but you wouldn't reply. I thought something bad happened then today I saw you. I'm so glad you passed!" She cried while hugging her. Yuqin smiled and hugged her back, "I missed you, too. Where's your brother?"
After wiping away her tears, Lingling told her that it will be a secret. She brought Yuqin to a nearby luxurious hotel, named HGX Hotel. The waitress led them to a beautiful dining room. Everything looked so luxurious. Yuqin thought her academy was luxurious already but she never expected anything this beautiful.
"Please be seated." The waitress smiled then got two menus, "Take your time."
Yuqin asked Lingling, "Is this the surprise?" Lingling smiled, "You'll see." After a minute, the dining room went dark.
A blackout? Yuqin thought. Just then, lights turned on again and there, she saw Han Rong in his wheelchair, Albert, Max, and Ling. Yuqin teared up and she couldn't say anything. Moments later, Han Rong got up from his wheelchair then slowly walked towards Yuqin. She cried even harder when he embraced her. Words cannot describe how she is feeling right now, she wanted time to stop again.
Han Rong whispered to her, "I finally got to hug you. I missed you so much." Yuqin couldn't say anything but hugged him tighter. Few seconds later, Yuqin let go and replied, "This surprise was too much for me. Thank you so much everyone. Han Rong, when were you able to walk without assistance?" She cried and laughed at the same time.
"While you were studying and water rescuing." Lingling replied quickly, "My brother worked really hard for you just to give you this surprise. He worked his butt off. Just a note, everyone knew."
Yuqin looked at Han Rong in the eyes and he slowly leaned forward. Started on top of her forehead, her nose, then gently touched her soft lips. They embraced each other while they kissed. On the other hand, Albert was hungry as a wolf while Max was trying to calm him down.
"Boss, you can kiss sister-in-law later. Everyone is hungry right now. Can we start to eat?" Albert asked him. Han Rong looked at Yuqin and smiled, "We will continue later. Let's eat."
Albert ate fast while everyone else ate slowly. Yuqin got some vegetable and gave a few to Han Rong while she passed it to other people. While everyone was eating, Lingling asked, "Sister Yuqin, do you need help with packing? Officer Albert and Officer Max could help you."
"Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help. But right now, it's late so tomorrow morning might be better. I'll just bus to the academy afterward. And organize a few things." Yuqin replied but Albert interrupted them.
"Sister-In-Law, sorry to break it to you. Boss already booked rooms."
Max nearly spat out his coke and coughed, "Albert, you could've said that later. Not when everyone's eating."
"I mean, you two are closer than ever so..." Max stuffed a fried chicken into Albert's mouth.
"So... you eat." Max glared into Albert's eyes.
"Sorry, Boss." Max apologized.
Han Rong chuckled and smiled, "No worries." He looked at Yuqin and secretly held her hands. She blushed again but continued to eat her food.

After everyone went into their rooms for the night, Yuqin noticed she did not even bring her own personal items. Han Rong came into the room and brought all of the items she'll need for the night.
"This is provided by the front desk. Should be okay for tonight. Do you need anything else?" Han Rong asked.
"Should be okay." She grabbed everything and went to the restroom to take a shower. After ten minutes, she got ready for the night while she waited for Han Rong to finish showering. She reorganized some of her rescue items from her duffle bag since he was still showering.
Han Rong came out of the restroom when Yuqin was already in bed, half-asleep. He quietly got in bed while trying not to wake her up. He turned to her then gently placed a strand of her hair behind her ears.
"Han Rong." Yuqin whispered then slowly opened her eyes. He caressed the back of her neck then gently kissed her forehead.
"I'm here." Han Rong whispered gently into her ears. He gently kissed her lips again then she reciprocated while embracing him.
"Han Rong, I missed you so much." She teared up again while feeling his body warmth. Han Rong held her tightly and kissed her, "I love you so much." They missed each other, longed for each other, and found each other, after eight years.
"Yuqin, I'll make up for the time we lost. Even though tomorrow is not guaranteed, at least we have each other at this very moment." Just then, Yuqin kissed him then Han Rong's love and protective side took over.
