It was already at the end of the second month of training. Yuqin and a group of other students had already gone through multiple intensive simulations from rescuing people from sinking vehicles, sinking boats, doing advanced first aid, to rescuing people from icy water. Yuqin learned more rescuing compared to before.
For the next one month, they will be required to save themselves if dangerous situations occurs when they're alone from hostage situation, being tied underwater, to wildlife survival. From basics to advanced, Yuqin studied hard for all of them.
During their deserved break, Yuqin took out her phone but before messaging Han Rong, she was called in by Sam. She went into his office which was a lot more spacious compared to her office back home.
"Yuqin, how are you feeling so far? Are you able to catch up?" Sam asked as he made her some hot green tea. Yuqin nodded firmly, "I am feeling pretty good. And yes, I'm able to catch up." Sam smiled and replied, "That's good."
Yuqin stayed silent and sipped her green tea. Sam looked at Yuqin's delicate figure and he was proud that she was his student. She looked at Sam and asked, "Is everything okay?"
"I didn't sleep too well last night, tiredness is getting to me." He rubbed his forehead and suddenly he coughed a bit.
Yuqin looked concerned and went forward.
"You... you have a fever. I'll go find the medicine for you." He nodded weakly then laid on the couch. After a few minutes, he got up slowly and took the medicine.
"Thank you, Yuqin. You're the first girl who fed me medicine." Sam smiled at her. Yuqin smiled as well, "How about your mom?" Sam's smile faded and replied, "My parents passed away so I'm an orphan. I grew up in an orphanage. Whenever I'm sick in the orphanage, my best friend, Eden, would come and feed me medicine. Eden is like my older brother but he was killed along with his foster family. My foster family didn't want me so someone else took care of me and taught me how to water rescue. From then on, this is my dream."
"Jessica's father?" She asked. He nodded, "Yes, Jessica and his older brother, Albert, saved my life. I was homeless and they gave me a home. I am forever grateful. Yuqin, sorry that I spilled my entire life story. I must be really sick." Sam laid back on the pillow and started coughing.
"I'll be fine tomorrow. Don't worry too much." Sam looked at Yuqin who was clearly concerned.
Sam looked at her intensely then gradually leaned in, "Yuqin..."
"Yes?" She replied with a smile.
"Please don't go." He replied in a weak voice. Yuqin stayed behind until dinner time.
She watched over Sam while sitting on a chair. She quickly grabbed a pen and a piece of paper.
"Sam, I'm sorry I have to go. I placed the rest of the medication on the table. If you do wake up, please take it. I hope you feel better soon." She got up and went outside. She leaned against the wall, then messaged Han Rong. She haven't got into contact with him since over a month.
After messaging that she was well, she went to eat dinner with the rest of the students. She thought about Sam while taking a bite of her rice. Then she shook her head and focused on her meal. I already have Han Rong, she reminded herself. Even though she did waver in her feelings with Sam but she firmly told herself that her relationship with him was friends only. She liked him as a friend and as a instructor. But, she loved Han Rong with all her heart since she waited eight years for him to come back to her. She'll make it clear to Sam when it's time.

Han Rong and Lingling lived with Lu Cheng's wife since it was closer to the rehab centre. After receiving Yuqin's message, he was relieved that everything was fine. While waiting for the doctor to come in, Lingling sat on the chair on the other side of the doctor's desk. Once the doctor came in, he also introduced a female rehab specialist who will work with him to make sure Han Rong gets the best treatment possible.
"Glad you guys came. This is Dr. Ellis from the England. She's a physican specialized in rehab. We will be working together with you.
" Dr. Wang introduced them. Dr. Wang used to be an army doctor but he preferred to work in a hospital setting. Lu Cheng is considered as his old pal.
"Pleased to work with you, Mr. and Miss Han. I'm Dr. Ellis." Lingling shook hands with her and she admired her beauty. Dr. Ellis was a elegant and professional young doctor. She's one of the top rehab specialists. Han Rong also shook his hand with hers. She smiled at Han Rong then focused on her work.
During the session, Dr. Wang and Dr. Ellis looked at Han Rong's previous record and they recommended him to start the rehab as soon as possible since they discovered some muscle atrophy already.
"Officer Han, if you are able to handle one month of intensive rehab, you will be able to walk and run again." Dr. Wang continued, "Dr. Ellis will work with you. She's one of the best doctors."
Han Rong nodded and thanked her. Lingling also thanked the doctor.
"So, when can my brother start his rehab?" She asked them.
"Right now. Unless you have other plans." Dr. Wang replied. Lingling shook her head and answered, "Brother, I'll wait for you. Good luck on your rehab!" Han Rong said bye to Lingling.
Dr. Ellis went out of the room as Han Rong started to change his clothes to hospital gown. She saw Lingling leaning against the wall while looking at her phone. Dr. Ellis approached her carefully.
"Don't worry about him. I'll take care of him." She smiled again and went into the room. Dr. Ellis navigated Han Rong's wheelchair as they came out of the room. Lingling watched them as they head into the rehab room. Lingling sighed again and messaged Yuqin.
"Sister Yuqin, I have a feeling someone will steal my brother away from you. Please reply." She turned off her phone then peeked inside of the rehab room. She saw Dr. Ellis being close to her brother as she helped him every step of the way.
Dr. Ellis asked Han Rong, "How are you feeling? Do you want to take a break?" Han Rong shook his head. He broke into sweat while concentrating and in his mind, he thought about how proud Yuqin would be if she saw him walking and running again.
"Yuqin, I'll work hard to make you proud." He thought about her in his mind while tackling intensive exercises.
