-Haruka's POV-
Here I am at my office, finishing all the documents needed for Levi Ackerman to attend his meetings today.
"Mr. Auclair, the Director, wanted you to check this document." Sophia handed the document to me.
It's been a few weeks, and Levi Ackerman still hasn't talked with me. He even sent me the documents he wanted me to check by himself before. Now, all the documents have been given to me by Sophia.
"Alright. Like always, I need to hand it to you after I'm done?" I inquired despite the fact that I already knew the answer.
"Ohh nope. The Director said you should be the one to hand the document to him later, after his meeting this evening." Sophia's answer makes me confused. Did I hear the right thing?
"Alright, I'll check it later. Thank you, Sophia." I smiled at her, and she just nodded before leaving my room.
I looked at the document. This is about the project that I and Levi Ackerman will handle this July. Maybe this is why Levi wanted me to hand him the document myself. If not, I'm sure he doesn't even want to see me after what happened between us. It's clear now that Levi Ackerman doesn't love me at all, and he's just playing around.
"Haruka senpai!" Someone's voice snapped me out of my thought, and it was Louis.
"Louis, since when are you here?" I was deep in thought, and I didn't even realise Louis was here.
"I've been here a few minutes, and I've been calling your name several times already. What are you thinking, Haruka senpai?" Louis took a seat in front of me, rested his palm on his chin while looking at me, and smiled sweetly. His sweet smile makes me forget what I've been thinking.
"Ahh, I'm sorry. I was just thinking about work. What are you doing here, Louis?" I smiled at him, pretending like nothing was wandering in my mind.
"I just want to ask you to have lunch together. It's lunch hour already, senpai." Louis grinned at me. I look at my watch, and it's already 12:30 in the afternoon.
"Oh my goodness, I didn't realise it was already lunchtime." I put all the documents aside and took my blazer off the hook.
"You're working too hard, senpai. Let's go." He took my right hand in his and led me to the door of my office.
"Where to?" I asked.
"I already reserved a table somewhere. Just follow me, senpai." He keeps grinning. It's a bit unusual for Louis to be like this. Who cares? This is exactly what I wanted. I smiled to myself.
-Epicure Restaurant-
"Today's bill is on me. Please order what you want, senpai." From the office until now, Louis has kept smiling.
"Why so sudden?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows.
"Nothing, it's just that you always treat me, so it's my turn today! Come on, let's order what you want to eat." Louis looks at the menu on the table and calls for the waiter to take our order.
"Your meal will be ready soon, sir." The waiter said so and took the menu back from us.
"Thank you," I said politely.
"So, how did your family gathering go? Are they still bothering you about the same thing?" Louis started to speak to break the silence. This is why I love to talk to Louis, he always has a topic to talk about.
"Well, my brother kept asking me the same thing, but my father hasn't talked about it a lot lately. They seem to accept how my life is going now, after 5 years. But they're still hoping that I'm going back to be a doctor." I smiled at him sweetly, as I could tell.
"So, are you going back to where you were five years ago?" Louis asked softly. I could sense the disappointment in his voice.
"I don't know. But I think I'll stay being who I am right now as long as you're here with me." I look at him with a smile, and he smiles back. I love Louis. I'm willing to do anything for him, but I lack the courage to tell him that I love him. Maybe not yet. Louis is too kind for me, he is always concerned about me.
"Don't worry. Now that I'm here, I'll always be with you." He spoke softly, intertwining our hands together. God, I love him so much, and please let me stay with him forever.
"So, what did you guys do during the family gathering, and who is present?" Louis tried to talk more, which made me smile.
"Well, just the usual family gathering, a welcome and congratulations party for Harry. All are present except for my eldest sister and Ryan." I took a sip of the plain water on the table.
"So, Hanabi is also present." Then again, he always tries to talk about Hanabi whenever he gets the chance. Why is that? Sometimes I felt jealous, but I know they went to the same school, so maybe they're just friends. Besides, Hanabi knows very well how much I love Louis.
"Yeah, of course she's there too. Louis, are you close to Hanabi?" But still, I cannot hide my curiosity anymore, I need to ask. Louis was slightly taken aback.
"Well, senpai, we're not that close because, you know..." His words were cut off when the waiter suddenly came to put our meal on the table. Ugh, why must it be now?
"The food is here. Let's eat first, senpai." He took the fork and knife to eat his steak. Again, he's trying to avoid my question.
Without saying anything, I just ate mine too.

At the end, I didn't get the chance to ask Louis about the details. Hmm, maybe next time. Now, I'm standing in front of Levi Ackerman's office door. The clock has not reached 2 yet, but here I am, holding the document for our July project.
"What are you doing standing here, Mr. Auclair?" Levi's husky voice startled me. It's been a long time since I've heard his voice this close.
When I turn around, he's only a few inches away from me. I step back a little.
"I wanted to give this document to you, Director." I shoved the document in front of him without even looking at him.
"Come in. There's something I wanted to talk about with you." He opens his office door and walks inside without even taking the document I gave him. This jerk.
But then I followed behind. I have to. We're going to talk about work anyway. I took a seat on the sofa without even waiting for him to sit first. I can do anything I want, even though he is my superior. In any case, he can't fire me.
"So, about the project, sir..."
"So, you're the one who operated on me five years ago." His words made me go silent for a second. This is a statement, not a question.
I look at him with a shocked face. "How did you know?"
