-Levi POV-
"How did you know I'm Hanabi?" She asks in a confusing way. Oh shit, I forgot she's wearing a mask.
"Your eyes look exactly like your brother, that's why. Would you like to have a drink together? I know a good café nearby." I smile awkwardly. I hope the excuse I gave makes sense.
"Nah, it's okay. I already called my driver, and he's on the way." She refused politely, just like her brother.
"Miss Hanabi, what a coincidence to meet you here, so I would like to talk with you about something." I cannot waste this opportunity, so I need to stop beating around the bush for now.
"A coincidence? Are you sure this is just a coincidence we met here?" Hanabi looks me in the eyes to see if I'm telling the truth or telling lies.
"So, is it a coincidence or a plan you've made with Lauren?" Hanabi inquired again after I'd been silent for some time.
I take a deep breath. "Well, I'm sorry. I did plan this with Lauren." I'm sorry, Lauren, I had to tell the truth.
"Well, no worries. I did feel weird at first because Lauren suddenly asked me to meet on weekdays but then cancelled at the very last minute. But, did you ask Lauren to meet me here because you knew Louis would be here?" Her voice was a bit cold, and I could sense she was glaring at me for a second.
"No, seriously, I don't know if Louis would be here, and I didn't expect Lauren to ask you to meet her here either." This is the first time I felt a little bit scared talking to someone. This is because I wanted to give Hanabi, Mr. Auclair's younger sister, the best first impression possible.
"Hmm, well, I don't think you and Lauren wanted me to meet Louis either. So, Mr. Levi Ackerman, what did you want to talk about with me?" Without wasting time anymore, Hanabi asked me the real reason why I'm here right now.
"I wanted to ask you about your brother." The same goes for me, no more beating around the bush.
"My brother, Haru oni-chan? What is it you want to talk about, my oni-chan?" She looks at me with her soft gaze. Every time Mr. Auclair's name was mentioned, she became soft.
"Can we talk about it somewhere else? How about the café I mentioned earlier?" There are so many things I wanted to ask her, so talking here is kind of inappropriate.
"Alright, but let me call my driver first." She took out her phone from her handbag and dialled the numbers. After a minute, she's done.
"Alright, lead the way, Mr. Ackerman." She said so, smiling, and I did what she asked. She follows behind me slowly. Finally.
It is my favourite café, which is only three minutes' walk from the bar. I requested a private room because I was concerned Hanabi would be uncomfortable with so many people.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk about, my brother?" Hanabi spoke as soon as she took the seat in front of me.
"No more beating around the bush, are we?" I answered her question with a question and a smile.
"When it comes to my beloved brother, I'm willing to listen to anything you have to say before judging." Her voice is soft, but her face looks serious.
"Before we talk about your brother, I want to ask you about William Anderson first. How close are you to him?" Without wanting to waste time anymore, I asked the first question.
"To be honest, I'm not really close with him, and it's because of my brother that we became close." Hanabi said, opening her face mask and her cap. She's indeed the beautiful one.
"Do you know what kind of relationship they both had before?" The second question makes Hanabi look at me a little bit confused.
"As far as I know, they are good friends, or maybe more like brothers because of their age difference." As I thought, Hanabi didn't know the details of their relationship.
"Hanabi, don't you know that William and your brother have been together before? They broke up eight years ago." The words that just left my mouth clearly gave Hanabi a shocked expression, which means it's true that she knows nothing about that.
"Where did you hear that from?" She looks at me in disbelief.
"I have someone investigating William Anderson, as I'm concerned about your brother. "When did you find out your brother is gay, Hanabi?" This question is crucial, and if I'm right, the answer must not have been long ago.
"When he said he fell in love with your brother three years ago," BINGO! As expected, the reason why Haruka Charles Auclair didn't make his relationship public is because he doesn't want people to know what his sexual orientation is.
"Mr. Ackerman, you're telling me that my brother is gay, but he didn't tell any of us about it 10 years ago." She looks at me right in the eyes.
"I'm not sure when it started, but I'm afraid there's a reason he doesn't want people to know. Perhaps because he was too young at the time. Hanabi, do you know how your brother can fall in love with my younger brother?" As Louis' name was mentioned, this is an opportunity for me to know the details about Louis and Mr. Auclair because Mr. Auclair will never tell me if I ask.
"When Haru Onii-chan returned two years ago, he told me that he liked someone, and I was shocked when he said that person was Louis, your brother." Hanabi took a sip of her drink without even looking at me.
"Because you knew my brother is not gay, and the reason he approached your brother is because of you." Instead of waiting for Hanabi to finish her words, I asked her first, and I could see her facial expression change.
"You, how did you know that?" She has a shocked expression on her face as she looks at me.
"Miss Auclair, I'm Levi Ackerman, and I can get everything I want and want to know, especially about my brother." Looking at her, I take a sip of my Earl Grey tea.
"Ugh, you can be annoying sometimes. And please just call me Hanabi or Charlotte, whichever you're most comfortable with, I don't mind." She said this with an annoyed expression on her face. I just smile.
"Well then, Hanabi, may I ask you why you didn't tell your brother about this? Don't you love your brother the most?"
