Chapter 45 - Chapter - 45 One Hectic Afternoon

Ferdinand's Point Of View

"Boss, the first room is finished. Jaihme is putting in the desk now, and Dahnnie is installing the door to connect it to room #2." Benjahmin said.

"Good. How's room #2 coming along?" I asked.

"We can fit 5 beds in it comfortably, along with two desks. Tyhlr is installing the privacy curtains now, and Tysse is installing the double doors connecting to the surgical room." He replied.

"Man you guys are making great progress. This is impressive, I was a bit worried that it might be a bit too much of a task for just 3 days." I said.

"Well boss... it might actually take all three days..." Benjahmin said nervously.

"Why? What's wrong?" I asked, concerned.

"Well... it's uhm... Bellamy... sir..." He murmured.

I looked up at him with a start. Bellamy seemed confident this morning when we started. I couldn't imagine what could have gone wrong in just five and a half hours.

"Is he still in room #3?" I asked heading in that direction.

"Yes, sir... but he's..."

I didn't waste anymore time with hearsay, I walked into the third room and immediately came to a hault.

"What the fuck do you mean it's impossible? All you need to do is bring me stainless steel counter tops and sterile surgical supplies by tomorrow night! How hard can that fucking be!?" Bellamy yelled over the phone.

"Uh... Bel?" I said, hesitantly.

"So what you're saying is that I have to build them myself or outsource another company because your company is useless as fuck and doesn't deserve my express products anymore?!" He continued yelling.

"Bel...?" He was looking more like an evil Villain than I did.

"Yeah well fuck you very much, Burt! I'll be sure to take my time with your next delivery as well... No screw you, asshole!" Bellamy said, hanging up and tossing his phone onto the floor.

"Sooo, you gonna tell me what the hell that was all about?" I asked.

"I called up the Medical Supply Depot thinking they could help deliver most of the items we need for the room, much like when we built my lab. But that useless bastard said it would be 3-5 days before he could get everything to us." Bellamy said, getting upset all over again.

"Are they the only one's we could ask for the stuff we need?" I asked.

It wasn't a huge deal that they couldn't fulfill our order, but it did mean that Khali wouldn't have anything she would need to properly run the clinic.

"We can try the Depot in Maihzdin... but we'd have to go there in person... You know Maihzdin is Sîvret's territory. Everything goes through him. Don't you remember what a pain it was to get your casino hotel built there?" Bellamy asked, annoyed.

I definitely wouldn't forget. Sîvret was an unpredictable character to deal with. It took a week to convince him to let me build Royal Ruby near the outskirts of the city. We definitely didn't have time to waste on a 5 day negotiation, but if we just wanted to get supplies it should go smoother... maybe...

"Well we are bringing him money and business, and it will only take two hours to get there. What choice do we have?" I asked.

"You'd have to go in person, and with Sylvester no less..." Bellamy sighed.

"Why do I need to take Sylvester? Why can't you go?" I asked, confused.

"Because I don't want to go. I hate going to Maihzdin... I can never leave when I want to... it's like the city of sin and debauchery..." Bellamy replied.

I stood there with my jaw hanging loosely. I couldn't believe my ears. It was like he forgot who he was mated to.

'What a ridiculously stupid reason!'

"Bellamy...? Did you forget the conditions of your mating? You'll be fine, it's not like they could pressure you into their debauchery." I replied.

"You think I could calmly withstand their teasing about me being impotent? I'll start a turf war in anger." He groaned.

It was certainly possible that he would fly off the handle over something so stupid. Bellamy never took bullying too well. He and Sylvester would butt heads all the time in high school because Sylvester would tease Bellamy all the time.

"But you're the only one who knows what we need, Bellamy." I replied.

"I'll make you a list. I'm not going Ferdinand, I'd rather stay here inside Tristan." He shrugged unapologetically.

"Haaah... Fine whatever. Fucking toddler... what about everything else?" I asked.

"Well Gillian will print out the paperwork for a month's worth of work. The filing cabinets will be installed tonight, with the folders. Chairs will be here tomorrow, along with the stuff we need to turn the living room into a lounge. Oh, also the TV's will be here Wednesday morning." He replied.

"Okay, I'll talk things over with Syl. If he doesn't want to go, I won't force him to. Meaning you'll have to deal with him and Cole alone." I said walking away.

I wouldn't mind if Sylvester tagged along, but if he didn't want to go, I'd make sure he gave Bel hell for being such a child about not wanting to go...

Cole's Point Of View

"Listen after looking around a bit, we won't pay anymore than $415,000 Corra for this property. You guys should talk to the owner or seller and see what the asking price is, and go from there." I said, tired.

This house seemed much bigger now, than when we were younger. I didn't understand how that was possible but it did. It had 13 bedrooms alone, on top of the kitchen, dining room, 3 bathrooms, a living room, a loft, a study, and a library. It was in better shape than it had been 10 years ago, meaning someone had definitely been taking care of the place.

But the house itself was old, and would need a bit of refurbishing to make it pass a Health code inspection. The hardwood floors would need to be replaced for sure. So while it was akin to a small mansion, there's no way we'd pay €500,000 for the property. It needed almost the same amount of money to refurbish it.

"Sir, what if they do not agree to your price?" Rohlander asked.

"Then just do what you do best...?" I shrugged.

"Uhm... are you saying we strong-arm them into agreeing?" Hoaruhs asked.

"Meh, strong-arm, convince, threaten, they're all the same, no?" I said with a meaningful wink.

"Isn't that a bit..."

"Justus, if we don't secure this mansion you all will need to start sleeping in tents in the back yard. So, do your best." I said, placing my hand on his shoulder.

"Right! Understood, we will secure this property at all costs." Rohlander answered instead.

The serious glint in his eyes said that he 100% did not want to sleep outside for even a single night.

"Once everything is settled, send 1 person to me to collect the money. And I'll come sign the Deed to finalize the deal." I said, waving as I walked away.

I missed Tristan, and Ferdinand promised me his day, which was the only reason I agreed to this excursion in the first place.

I left the house and climbed into my car and took off back towards the mansion. I wanted nothing more than to curl up in bed with Tristan and laze around until tomorrow.

Honestly speaking, I was becoming burnt-out by all the sex. I didn't want to tell that to the others, but between the suppressants and the nightly immoral indulgences, I was getting tired of all of it.

We never got to spend time just hanging out anymore, and my body was constantly being dragged around by everyone else's arousal and sexual allure. In the last two days I had more headaches and chest pain than I had had my entire life. Sometimes it was just fun laying around doing nothing.

I pulled back up to the mansion and hopped out of my car. I didn't bother parking in the garage, in case the deal was finalized today. I climbed the porch stairs as fast as I could and slung the front door open. As I was walking up the stairs I was haulted by a small voice.

"Cole, would you like me to take your stitches out today...?" Soona asked.

I remembered that not even 6 hours ago that had been all I wanted, but that was no longer the case. I wouldn't die keeping them in for one more day.

"Uhm... no, not today. Tomorrow for sure, though. Have you talked to Ferdinand today yet?" I asked.

"No...? What about?" She asked.

"We are soon to get an influx of doctors. He should be down there converting the rooms into a clinic as we speak." I said trying to distract her.

"New doctors...? How many? When? No one told me anything...!" She cried, clearly in a panic.

"Go talk to Ferdinand, he can explain it more." I said walking up the stairs.

I left her at the foot of the stairs, and headed to Ferdinand's room. When I opened the door, Tristan was asleep in the bed, but Sylvester was sleeping in a chair in the corner.

Their pheromones were thickly mingling together in the air, but they were completely passed out. I didn't give it anymore thought, and just climbed into bed with Tristan.

"Mmm... Missed you, Cole..." Tristan murmured in his sleep, as he curled up next to me.

Hearing that made the whole morning worth it. I pulled him closer and took a deep breath into his hair, then I closed my eyes while running my fingers through his hair...

'Yeah, this is better than sex...'
