Chapter 46 - Chapter - 46 A Deed & Discussions

Rohlander's Point Of View

"Sir, Good Afternoon. Is this your property?" Justus asked our latest newcomer.

"Yes. Would you be interested in buying the property?" The older man asked.

"I am actually, what are you asking for it?" I replied.

After seeing the elderly man, I was really hoping he would accept our offer. The man would surely croak if we threatened him.

"Well it was my father-in-law's property, but he died nearly 15 years ago. I'm having a hard time selling the place, and an even harder time keeping up with it. I'll sell it to you for €350,000 corra cash. 400 if you need to wire transfer the money, the fees will eat me alive..." He said.

"I can do €350,000 cash. Would you like to finish the deal today or a later date?" I asked.

I couldn't help but let out a small sigh at how easy the negotiations were going. At this rate, we would be able to refurbish the place in no time.

"I'll be able to gather the paperwork tomorrow. Most people turn down the offer once I name my price, so I stopped coming with hope or the Deed. I apologize for my lack of readiness..." He said, solemnly.

"Don't sweat it, I have to run it past a few people as well and get the money. A day won't kill us." I said, trying to reassure the old timer.

"Is it okay if we start the refurbishing on the property tonight?" Justus asked.

"Sure, sure. Do as you like. I live with my daughter close to Maihzdin, so the drive isn't a short one by any means..." He readily agreed.

"Well this is my number, let me know if anything comes up, we are actually staying at the house directly to the left of this one across that field over there." Hoaruhs said, pointing in the direction.

The man's eyes widened in disbelief.

"You have such a massive home already, and you want this one as well?" He asked, clearly confused.

"Haha... no sir. We work for that family, and the family is getting a bit too big to contain within those walls." I said, chuckling.

"Oh I see... well I hope Ferdinand has found happiness. It was a sad day when his parents were murdered." The old man sighed heavily.

Nobody talked about the mysterious death of the boss's parents. It was even more surprising that this man knew what happened as well. We all shared a knowing look and let the old man shuffle back out of his home towards his truck.

"I'll be back around noon tomorrow, I'll have all the paperwork ready for you then. Thank you fellas for accepting the price without issue. Have a good Evening gentlemen." He said, getting into his truck.

"No problem. Drive safe sir." I replied.

"Okay, Rohlander, Hoaruhs you two stay here I'll send some guys over to help you get started stripping the place. Anything we can re-use we can keep. If it just needs cleaning then we can clean it. The water is still on so that's a bonus. I'll update Cole on the situation as well. I assume neither of you want to do that right?" Justus said.

Hoaruhs and I immediately shook our heads. We could see how anxious Cole was to get back to his mate. He was no doubt with him right now, if the speed with which he drove off earier was anything to go by. No way did I want to be the one to interrupt whatever was going on back at the mansion.

"Alright. Good luck boys, call me if you need anything else." Justus said, heading towards his car.

"Haaah... I don't envy him. I definitely don't want to be the one to interrupt the bosses." Hoaruhs said.

"Too true. He has my respect for volunteering to go without any complaints." I agreed.

"Well, let's look at the things we will keep and load the things we are throwing away by the door." Hoaruhs said walking into the house again.

I was excited about having our own home away from home. It was close enough to get back to the mansion in an emergency, but secluded enough that it felt like our own spot. We would put 2 bunk beds in each room giving us 52 beds to work with.

I was excited to see the different groups of people coming together in one house. It was sure to bring in all kinds of crazy personalities. I couldn't help how excited I was about it all...

Cole's Point Of View

"Ngh... N-No... Stop!"

I woke up with a start. Tristan was in the throes of a nightmare. He was covered in sweat and trembling terribly.

"Shit! Tristan...? Tristan wake up!" Sylvester yelled, jumping up from his chair.

"Please! Stop! I don't want this!" Tristan cried.

Tears began to stream down his face even with his eyes closed. His body was burning up, and nothing we tried would wake him.

"Tristan sweetheart, I need you to wake up now. It's just a bad dream!" I said into his ear.

His fearful screams were getting louder, and his trembling was turning into full blown shaking now.

"Stop! Get off of me! Leave me alone! S-Somebody help me... Please!" He cried out.

That was the final straw for Sylvester and me, we held Tristan together tightly and released a copious amount of pheromones all at once.

Tristan stilled immediately, and let out a shuddering breath. Then he settled down again, gripping our shirts in a vice grip.

"Tristan, wake up love." Sylvester said, rubbing the hand gripping his shirt.

"Hngh... Mmm... No... I don't wanna..." He groaned.

"You were having a nightmare.... you wanna talk about it?" I asked.

"I don't... remember..." He sighed, curling up to my chest.

"Alright, we won't force you. Just wanted to make sure you were okay." Sylvester said.

"Mmm... Sylvester...?" Tristan mumbled.

"What is it?"

"Can I... have that... food again...?" Tristan asked, in a shaky voice.

Whatever he had dreamed was still very clearly in his mind, but if it was as painful as my chest was feeling, then I definitely didn't want him reliving it.

"Yeah... I'll go tell Mrs. Kristi that you're hungry." Sylvester said, giving Tristan a brief kiss before leaving the room.

"It was scary..." Tristan murmured.

"It sounded scary... I wish I knew our pheromones could wake you sooner. Sorry you had to go through that... you don't need to talk about it more. Just rest and take some deep breaths." I replied.

"C-Can I... have a kiss?" He mumbled.

"Yes, of course." I said kissing his lips, then his face all over.

*Knock... Knock... Knock...*

"Yeah, come in." I said.

"Hey boss, the seller agreed. He's going to bring the Deed tomorrow." Justus said.

"And the cost?" I asked.

"He was asking for $350,000 corra in cash $400,000 for wire transfers."

"That's perfect. Good work I'll tell the others and have the cash ready tomorrow." I said.

"Um... he is also letting us start the refurbishing today. So I'm going to take some guys and get started. Hoaruhs and Rohlander are still there getting started right now." Justus said, timidly.

"Fast workers I see. Well it doesn't bother me any. Find Ferdinand or Bellamy if you need money for the remodeling. Take things from the 4th floor if you need to, we can replace and rearrange things if need be." I said.

We really lucked out with the cost. We saved so much money, they could probably get their own game room of sorts.

"Right. Thanks boss, I'll be heading out now." He nodded and then closed the door.

"You bought a house?" Tristan asked.

"Not me, Bellamy and Ferdinand. We needed space for everyone. It's basically going to be the men's guard house. The ladies can move in too but, I suspect they'll choose the women's lodging. Then couples can stay here at the main mansion." I replied.

"So the couples get their privacy and the boys get their frat house?" Tristan chuckled.

"More or less. That house has 13 rooms and 3 full bathrooms. That's easily 52 beds with 4 in each one. We definitely needed the extra space." I said.

"I'm back Tristan, hope you're still hungry. Also Mrs. Kristi said she'd send some to the kids as well for breakfast tomorrow." Sylvester said barging in.

"Yay... okay..." Tristan murmured.

"That didn't sound happy at all." Sylvester pouted.

"Sorry, I'm happy. I'm also just tired too." He replied.

"Mhm... suuure. You have been sleeping all day, no way you're still tired Sleeping Beauty." Sylvester chuckled.

"I really am though..." Tristan replied taking in a spoonful of food.

*Knock...*

"Hey Syl do you want to go to Maihzdin with me tonight?" Ferdinand asked stepping into the room.

"Did you just knock on your own door?" Sylvester asked teasingly.

"You're leaving!?" Tristan said, looking panicked.

"We need medical supplies before Khali gets here and the Depot here doesn't have the supplies we need on hand. Maihzdin is only a two hour drive. We should be back tonight as well." Ferdinand said calmly.

"Hngh.... I don't like it...." Tristan mumbled.

There was no way I was going to tag along, Maihzdin was a depraved city and I always got roped into doing crazy shit there.

"Sure I'll go with you, but only after Tristan is satisfied and sleeping." Sylvester replied.

"Fine.... Cole, Tristan....? Give Bellamy hell for me while I'm gone. He deserves it." Ferdinand said before turning and leaving the room again.

"What does he mean give him hell?" Tristan asked confused.

"It's fine don't worry about that." I said.

No doubt, Bellamy didn't want to go to Maihzdin either. It was just that wild and lawless. Sîvret was the Mafia King there and everything went through him. I'd much rather stay with Tristan...
