"Advanced Observation Haki! This is the next best thing to Armament Haki! If you miss it, who knows if there will ever be such a reward again?" Finn thought to himself.
But as he glanced over the selection requirements, a strange expression flashed across his face.
"System, you really want to push this young master down a dark path, huh?" Finn muttered. "But no matter what, I have to choose three!"
He shook his head. "Robin, I suddenly feel like I might've made a mistake."
Hearing this, Princess Vivi breathed a long sigh of relief. "Thank goodness for my quick thinking! Otherwise, I would've been caught in your trap!" she thought.
"Made a mistake?" Robin asked, puzzled.
Finn nodded seriously, turning to Vivi. "Let me ask you one last time, are you Princess Vivi?"
"Absolutely not!" Vivi responded firmly.
"Well, I'll tell you the truth then. I'm with the Marines, and since Robin is with me, she's with the Marines too. So if you're not Princess Vivi, then you're an agent of Baroque Works. And I'm going to arrest you."
Princess Vivi chuckled inwardly, "Still playing this game, huh? You guys are really persistent." Out loud, she declared, "Go ahead and arrest me! But don't think I'll betray my companions in Baroque Works!"
"Alright, then come with me," Finn said, swiftly tying Vivi's hands behind her back with a rope.
"Traitor!" Vivi glared at Robin, pretending to be furious. "Since you want to act, I'll play along. I'll show you just how loyal I am to Baroque Works."
Robin looked a little confused. "Is this for real?" she asked Finn.
"Probably not," Finn replied with a smirk as he escorted Princess Vivi out of the alley.
Outside, Nami and Tashigi were waiting for them.
"Master, what's going on? Is she Princess Vivi?" Nami asked, eyeing Vivi curiously.
"No," Finn said, motioning toward Vivi. "She's just an agent of Baroque Works."
"Ah? But Princess Vivi has been missing for over ten days. King Cobra must be so worried. I really hope we can help him…" Nami sighed, looking disheartened.
Vivi couldn't help but find the situation amusing. "These Baroque Works people are relentless. They didn't break character even once," she thought. "But what they don't know is that my father has everything under control. Saying he's worried just proves they're acting."
Tashigi interrupted, "Master, today is the last day of our assignment. Should we extend the deadline?"
"No need. We've captured the culprit. Let's leave."
As long as they left Alabasta, Finn knew he'd receive his reward.
Two hours later, Finn and his group arrived at the port. Using his enhanced Observation Haki, Finn scanned the area and saw a large crowd gathered near the warship.
"Wait a minute," Finn thought, surprised. "Isn't that King Cobra and the Alabasta officials? How did they end up here?"
Thinking quickly, Finn left the group for a moment and returned with a large cloak he had bought from a nearby stall.
"Master, why did you buy that?" Nami asked, curious as always.
Finn draped the cloak over Princess Vivi, pulling the hood down low to conceal her face. "There will be a lot of people on the warship. Even though she's a criminal, she's still young. It'd be embarrassing for her to be paraded around in front of everyone."
"Oh, I see," Nami said, adjusting the hood slightly. "Our young master really does have a warm heart, doesn't he?"
Princess Vivi remained silent, unsure of how to respond. While she did appreciate the gesture, she couldn't help but think, "If only you weren't acting."
Tashigi nodded in agreement. "Master is always so thoughtful."
"Alright, let's get moving," Finn commanded.
Nami and Tashigi led the way with Princess Vivi, while Finn and Robin lingered behind.
"Alright, what is it you want to say?" Robin asked.
"Uh…" Finn hesitated, then smiled awkwardly. "I can't hide anything from you, huh?"
After a pause, Finn said, "When we get on the warship, use your powers to make sure she stays quiet."
Robin raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Oh? And why do you need me to do that?"
"Hey, don't look at me like that!" Finn protested. "You're making me look like the bad guy here."
Robin kept staring at him silently for a moment before tapping him on the forehead with her finger. "Tell me, is Miss Wednesday really Princess Vivi?"
Finn was silent for a couple of seconds, then shrugged. "Okay, fine. Yes."
"Really?!" Robin's eyes widened in surprise as she grabbed Finn's shoulders. "You mean to tell me you're kidnapping the princess?!"
