The energy emanating from Tania was something Anna was very familiar with; it was the primordial blood essence, but from a different primordial creature. Then she realized that what attracted her blood inheritance was not the otherworldly luck or Tania being the daughter of luck, but the primordial blood essence sealed inside her soul. The warning to kill was also due to this.
"How is it possible for a person to have primordial blood essence sealed inside their soul? Just who is Tania, and how powerful must her soul be to withstand the potent energy produced by the primordial blood essence? My soul survived only because I traveled through time and space and created a body for myself to contain the energy and help my soul absorb it slowly. But Tania's soul was even divided into two parts, and the primordial blood did not harm her soul in any way."
Anna guessed that before her soul was divided and she traveled to another world, Tania must have been a powerful being in the heavenly realm to possess such a strong soul. Perhaps she acquired the primordial blood essence from somewhere and used her cultivation to seal it within her soul, which is why Anna was unable to detect it. But why didn't Tania use it directly? If she were such a powerful being, how could her soul end up in the hands of this luck-absorbing organization and the so-called Heavenly Dao?
"I guess I will get my answers soon."
Tania's mortal body was destroyed as it could not contain her soul, and a new body began to construct itself with the energy of the primordial blood essence, just as Anna had been reborn. Anna could now identify which primordial beast this essence belonged to, as the temperature began to rise rapidly. It escalated to the point where the dimensional ring and the arrays inside it started melting, threatening to destroy the pocket dimension. Anna hurriedly used her power to set up a barrier around Tania to contain the heat. Tania's entire soul was engulfed in a blue-colored divine fire known as the Fire of Nirvana. This fire could burn everything in the world.
Then the Nirvana fire began to take the shape of a bird, and her body started to form through the flames. Soon, feathers began to grow on her body, covered in the same blue Nirvana fire, yet not burning themselves. The divine fire appeared to be contained within her body. As her body was completed, Tania subconsciously spread her wings, creating a breathtaking scene that looked unreal. She had a wingspan of more than 20 meters, still enveloped in Nirvana fire. Tania was a Primordial Phoenix, and the blue-colored Nirvana fire was their identity, granting them the power of immortality. While primordial creatures had an almost eternal lifespan, they could still be killed. However, Primordial Phoenixes had the ability to revive not only themselves but also others with the power of Nirvana. In contrast, normal divine phoenix creatures had golden flames and could only use their powers on themselves.
As Anna watched the transformation, she began to feel strange, finding herself inexplicably attracted to Tania's new form, unable to take her eyes off her. She shook off this feeling, as it was foreign to her, and quickly turned her attention back to Tania, who was undergoing a rapid increase in cultivation.
"What is happening now? Why is Tania's cultivation increasing so rapidly? Did she also seal her cultivation from her previous life with the blood essence?"
Anna observed as Tania advanced through the Mortal Realm, Earth Realm, peak of Earth Realm, and then into the Saint Realm, reaching the peak of the Saint Realm. As Tania continued to advance, Anna grew worried; there was no naming array prepared, and Tania would not be able to generate a name upon advancing into the Heaven Realm. For some reason, Anna felt a strong desire for Tania's name to be engraved into her soul core. Perhaps it was because Tania was also becoming a primordial, or maybe it was due to her strange feelings. However, her worries were unfounded, as when Tania advanced into the Heaven Realm and began forming her soul core, the essence of all the treasures Anna had used for Tania's physique awakening started merging with her soul core, just like the treasures used in the naming array.
When the soul core formation was nearly complete, a name emerged from within Tania's soul. It was not a newly awakened name but one that had already resided in her soul, merging with her soul core. Thus, the energy required for a new name awakening was not needed.
Anna speculated, "Maybe her name is from her previous life when she was very powerful."
Suddenly, Anna recalled a conversation with her grandmother when she had just advanced to the Saint Realm. Her expression stiffened as the memory resurfaced.
Flashback: The Great Primordial Labyrinth, 21st Floor
"Grandma, I have advanced to the Saint Realm! Look how much I've grown, and my scales have become more beautiful!" Anna exclaimed cheerfully as she entered the temple.
"Well, you are the cutest," Grandma replied with a smile.
"Hey, I said beautiful, not cute!" Anna protested, pouting. Grandma's smile widened as she responded, "You will always be cute to me. Congratulations on reaching the Saint Realm, dear." Anna knew Grandma was teasing her, so she refrained from responding to the earlier comment. "Thank you, Grandma."
"I sensed your advancement, so I used a divination technique to predict your future for any complications or events. What I found was very interesting," Grandma said, her face lit with a playful smile, as if waiting for Anna to ask about the results of the divination. Although Anna was wary of falling into her grandmother's trap, her curiosity got the better of her. "What was the interesting thing you found, Grandma? Please tell me."
"I couldn't see much of your future; it was covered in white fog, making it impossible to see further. However, from what I could discern, I found that you will encounter a primordial beast shortly after leaving this dungeon, and that beast will become your lifelong companion, completing the mission of the primordial creatures with you. So, if you want to be called beautiful, you should ask them. For me, you will always be cute."
Flashback Ends
Anna had dismissed her grandmother's words as nonsense meant to tease her, and she had forgotten about them. Now, she realized that they might be true, as she had literally found a primordial creature just after exiting the dungeon. The thought made Anna feel flustered for the first time since her rebirth.
"Will Tania be my future girlfriend? What should I do? Will she be angry if she finds out I manipulated her? No, if her previous life memories and powers are returning, she will most likely know about it. Should I apologize directly? But what if she doesn't accept my apology? She will realize that I could have stopped the old man from attacking, as she is now at the same power level as me. What will she think of me? If I had known she would become my girlfriend and a fellow primordial, I would have never done it. What should I do?"
Anna's thoughts were interrupted as she sensed that Tania had successfully transformed and was approaching her in her new humanoid form. Once again, Anna was astonished by Tania's beauty. Before her stood a woman so stunning that the surroundings seemed to dim in her presence. Tania had beautiful blue hair flowing like her Nirvana fire, and her blue eyes flickered with flames. Anna stared blankly until Tania spoke in a tone completely different from her previous self—a voice filled with power and authority.
"Thank you, princess of the Primordial Dragon Clan, for helping me break the seal. Otherwise, it would have taken a lot longer to break it myself, and I would have had to reach at least the Immortal King Realm. Before that, I would have become a puppet of that wretched organization and been drained dry by them. You have my eternal gratitude."
"It's alright; I didn't know this would be the result of my intervention," Anna replied, her tone slightly flustered as her eyes darted everywhere. Tania was now completely different from the previous version of herself, as if she had transformed from a meek girl into a domineering CEO. Her presence now matched Anna's, demanding to be treated as an equal rather than looking down on her as before. Anna was not unwilling to speak properly with Tania, but she felt guilty for manipulating her and struggled to meet her gaze. Instead, she asked, trying to control her emotions, "But how did you know I am a princess?"
Tania glanced at Anna's finger, where her Primordial Dragon Clan ring was, and replied, "Your ring is one that only the princess of the Primordial Dragon Clan can wear. That is what my inheritance memory told me."
Anna nodded, then eagerly asked Tania about her incredible transformation, momentarily forgetting her earlier embarrassment. "Can you tell me what happened to you? Who are you, and why were you born human? Why was your soul divided, and how did it end up in the hands of that organization? How did you acquire the blood essence of a Primordial Phoenix, and why was it sealed?"
Anna's rapid-fire questions left Tania dumbfounded; she had not expected such behavior from Anna, who had previously seemed so composed. It was as if the powerful, mysterious senior cultivator had transformed into a curious little girl.
Tania could guess the reason for this change. Previously, She had been a weak mortal girl, not even worthy of standing in front of Anna. If not for her half-soul from another world and incredible luck, Anna would have never interacted with her. This was how it was in a world where power was supreme, especially for the Primordial Dragons, who held pride above all else and only respected strength.
Tania understood that Anna had tried to manipulate her, but she was not angry in the slightest. She could guess Anna's intentions were primarily for entertainment and fun, maybe she found the plans of the so called Heavenly Dao interesting and wanted to play around, as that was how primordial creatures often behaved. If she were in Anna's position, she would have likely done the same or helped secretly to enjoy the spectacle from the behind the scenes. Anna most likely changed her mind because of the mission of the primordial creatures. But right now they were equals.
As for Anna's childish demeanor, Tania thought it was fitting, considering Anna was literally a child compared to her age in her previous life.
"Calm down; I will tell you everything, so just relax, but you also have to tell everything about you after this." Tania said, realizing that she could now be friends with Anna, a thought she had not entertained before.
