"That was quite the walk." Dante commented as he and Amber sat on a bench, they had reached the top and were relaxing a bit before going back down.
"Hm." Amber hummed in response, she was trying hard not to glance at him.
He had removed his glasses brushing his hair backwards with his fingers.
The sun casting it's light on him illuminating the tiny beads of sweat on his forehead.
The ringtone of Amber's phone cut through the comfortable silence making her snap out of her thoughts.
The light in her eyes dimmed immediately she checked her phone and saw the name mother written boldly on the screen.
"You don't have to pick it up if you don't want to." Dante commented causing Amber to press her lips into a straight line.
"I want to see what she has to say." Amber murmured picking the call and placing it on speaker.
"Hello, Amber my dear, how are you doing?" Rose asked in a high pitched voice that made both Amber and Dante grimace.
