Marcus laughed bitterly. "She's good at that, isn't she? Always telling you what to do, always making you question yourself."
"Shut up, Marcus," Caleb growled, stepping closer.
But Ethan held up a hand, stopping him. "You've made your choice, Marcus," he said quietly. "Now get out of my sight before I make you regret it."
"You're making a mistake," Marcus warned, his voice cold. "You think you can stop Liam without me? Without knowing who else in this pack is loyal to him? Good luck."
He turned and walked out, leaving a heavy silence in his wake.
