Chapter 1 - Boruto the Akatsuki: In Search of Power 1

Konohagakure, the strongest village of the five great elemental villages, lay in ruins. High above the kages' faces, two figures faced each other. The metallic sound of their weapons clashing rang through the air, echoing off the devastation around them. In the distance, a young blond boy with whisker-like markings on his cheeks and blue eyes could be seen, one of them bearing a vertical scar that stretched from his ninja headband to the bottom of his eye. The ninja headband, with the Konoha symbol crossed out, fluttered in the wind along with his red cloud cloak. Dark markings grew from the bottom of his face to the top. In his right eye, the black sclera with whitish pupil and iris reflected his mysterious, dark power.

Boruto also held the legendary Gunbai, the war fan that once belonged to Madara Uchiha. Every time the Gunbai moved, the glow of its polished surface caught the moonlight, creating sparkles that highlighted its imposing presence. In his other hand, a single-bladed scythe rested lightly on the ground. Its sharp, gleaming edge sliced through the air with deadly precision, promising a lethal fate to whoever crossed it.

In front of him, Kawaki, with his silver-grey eyes and dark hair, held a black staff almost two metres long. His long coat contrasted with the markings on his face, giving him an air that was both imposing and enigmatic.

"Kawaki, do you really think I fear you or hate you for what you did? How pathetic you are," Boruto said with an evil smile, his voice echoing with the same intensity as the clash of metal.

"No matter what you say, you must die," Kawaki replied firmly.

"Ah, Kawaki! Always so serious," Boruto laughed , his amusement evident in every word. "Haven't they ever taught you to enjoy a good fight? This is more than just a fight to me. It's entertainment."

"Entertainment?" Kawaki replied, his expression hardening. "Destroying everything you once loved... I always wanted the life you had, is that fun to you?"

"It was, it is, and it always will be," Boruto replied, turning the Gunbai in his hands. "Watching you struggle, watching you despair... it's priceless."

"You are sick," Kawaki said, stepping forward. "I will kill you to keep the Seventh safe."

Boruto just shrugged. "Well, at least you're making this interesting."

The metallic sound of battle intensified as both combatants charged forward, Boruto's Gunbai and Kawaki's staff clashing in a display of flash and energy. The sky, covered in dark clouds, reflected the fury of the confrontation unfolding between them.

To understand how they got to this point, we need to go back a few years, to the beginning...

In a white room, several people were present, but the most prominent were three. A young girl with pink hair and emerald eyes, with white skin, spoke urgently. "A little more, almost there, you can do it, Hinata."

Hinata, lying on a bed, with dark blue hair and pale skin, was tightly holding the hand of her husband, a man with blonde hair and blue eyes. "Argh ! Naruto! It hurts!"

"Don't worry, Hinata, it will all be over quickly," Naruto tried to comfort his wife as she gave birth.

" Argh ! … ha!" Hinata shouted one last time.

"Done," Sakura said, "he's a fine child."

Naruto looked worriedly at his wife as she fell unconscious. "She's just exhausted," Sakura explained as she examined her. In the room, the cries of a baby echoed. "Where's my son?" Naruto asked.

"He looks just like you, Naruto," Sakura said with a laugh, "with two marks instead of three."

Naruto smiled as a doctor handed him the baby. He held him gently, smiling. Seeing his father's smile, the baby stopped crying and smiled back. "He seems to understand that you're his father," Sakura observed tenderly.

Hinata woke up a few minutes later, exhausted, with shadows under her eyes. "I want to see him," she said weakly.

Naruto handed her the baby and sat down next to her. Hinata welcomed the child with a smile, as he tried to reach her face with his small hands. "BORUTO," Hinata said, "that will be his name."

Naruto nodded, gently hugging his wife and baby. Sakura stepped back to announce the birth, touching her belly and thinking, "It'll be your turn soon. I hope you're born healthy."

Naruto's friends came to congratulate him, and they all looked at the baby in Hinata's arms, thinking "they look the same." Ino, watching the baby smile, thought he was very cute. After a while, everyone said their goodbyes, and Hinata was moved to a new room to rest with her son. Naruto watched them with a kind smile.

The next morning, Naruto and Hinata, with Boruto in their arms, returned home, unaware that their son would cause a catastrophe in the future.

---

Time passed and somewhere in Konoha, in the Uzumaki house, Boruto, barely 9 months old, was taking his first steps. He showed a capacity superior to other children his age, and Hinata looked at him with excitement, motivating him to continue walking while she looked at him from the front. During those 9 months, Boruto's impressive intellectual capacity had been noted; he was able to understand the words that were said to him, even though he could not yet pronounce or speak correctly. He understood everything around him with surprising ease.

When Boruto turned one, Naruto and Hinata organized a birthday celebration for him. They invited their closest friends to celebrate their son's special day. The doorbell rang, and the first to arrive were the Uchiha family, with a baby in their arms. They greeted Naruto and Hinata warmly.

"Did you bring Sarada, Sakura?" Naruto asked.

"Well, there was no one who could take care of her at home, so I brought her. I thought it would be good for her to meet someone her age like Boruto," Sakura replied with a gentle smile.

"No problem, Sakura. They could become great friends after all," Hinata said, smiling back.

"Hey Sasuke, how have you been? I didn't think you'd come," Naruto commented.

"I only came because I was in the village and because I wanted to meet your son. Besides, my daughter's birthday is coming up; after all, they were born in the same month," Sasuke replied.

Naruto laughed remembering that Sarada was born on March 31st and his son on March 27th. "Hahaha, that's true. We'll have to go to his house on his birthday and bring a big present for little Sarada."

"Come into the living room, Boruto is there, so he can meet Sarada," Naruto said, inviting them in. Sasuke and Sakura walked into the living room, following Naruto.

In the middle of the room, Boruto could be seen sitting, watching the people entering. Sasuke, with black eyes and hair of the same color, was watching him closely. At some point, their gazes met and they stared at each other for a few seconds. Sasuke gave Boruto a small smile, and the boy smiled back, which surprised Sasuke a little.

"It's like he understood me, and I felt like he could see right through me. How strange," Sasuke thought as he sighed. "It must be because I'm tired; after all, I've been on a mission for several months. He is a child, after all."

"Is something wrong, Sasuke?" Naruto asked.

"No, it's nothing, Naruto," Sasuke replied.

"Well, go on then, hehehe," Naruto said.

Sakura placed Sarada next to Boruto so they could get to know each other better. The little girl, with black eyes and dark hair, looked at Boruto shyly. Boruto, in a friendly gesture, passed her a toy piece, and the two began to play, putting things together.

After a few minutes, the other friends of Naruto's generation arrived, bringing their children with them and placing them in the same place where Boruto and Sarada were. Among them, a slightly chubby brown-skinned and blonde-haired girl named Chocho; a white-skinned and light-blond-haired boy named Inojin; and another white-skinned boy with spiky black hair and a bored expression.

They greeted and congratulated Boruto on his birthday, filling the house with laughter and joy. A large cake with a candle was brought to the center of the room, decorated with bright colors and Boruto's name written in icing.

Naruto and Hinata approached the cake with Boruto in their arms, while all the guests gathered around to sing "Happy Birthday." Boruto, with eyes full of curiosity and excitement, looked at the lit candle. Naruto helped him approach and, with a little help from his father, Boruto blew out the candle, causing applause and cheers from everyone present.

The children began to play together, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The house was filled with warmth and camaraderie as Naruto and Hinata's friends reminisced about their own adventures and dreams for their children's future. They all shared anecdotes, enjoyed cake, and celebrated Boruto Uzumaki's first year of life.

Two years later

At this moment, a three-year-old Boruto could be seen sitting on the lap of his mother, Hinata, who had a prominent belly, indicative of her pregnancy. They were in the courtyard of their house, and Boruto was holding a book in his small hands. Hinata was reading aloud, telling the story of his grandfather, Minato Namikaze, the Kiiroi. Senkō , how he was the most recognized in the Third Great Ninja War, along with his grandmother Kushina Uzumaki, the Bloody Habanero.

Although Boruto couldn't read quickly, he was able to understand the contents of the book, which spoke of his grandparents' great achievements in the war. Unbeknownst to him, Boruto was moved by the story, feeling a small spark of desire to fight rise in his heart.

"Mom, why do these books only show their achievements and not their mistakes? It's kind of interesting, though," Boruto said, curiosity in his eyes.

Hinata, a little surprised by her son's question, replied softly, "Because they are heroes to their shinobi villages . Their reputation cannot be damaged or tarnished. But they are good people, even if they made mistakes, it was unintentional. Do you want to see the true story, where they don't hide anything?" Hinata asked with amusement.

Knowing her son, Hinata thought Boruto would answer in the affirmative, as she knew he was smarter than a normal child. Boruto, with a smile, nodded. Hinata stood up and went inside the house, bringing a book that recounted the complete stories of Konoha's heroes without leaving out anything from their time as shinobi . Hinata knew better than to show this kind of information to a three-year-old; after all, Boruto was still a child. But something deep inside her thought that she could help Boruto become a hero without mistakes and regrets from the past, making him a better being than those before.

After a while, noon came, and Hinata invited her son to eat. Naruto was not there, as he was on a mission, close to fulfilling his dream of being Hokage. Boruto sat in the dining room, waiting for his mother to bring him food. Hinata, walking with two plates in her hand, placed one plate in front of Boruto and the other in front of her.

"Thanks for the food," Hinata and Boruto said at the same time.

"Boruto, do you want to go to the park next to the house?" Hinata asked with a smile.

"What would I go for?" Boruto replied with the same smile.

"I think you already know the answer. You are very smart after all, my little Boruto," Hinata said, gently ruffling Boruto's hair.

Boruto looked away and replied, "I'm not able to get along with kids my age. They're all kind of dumb, like they're loose with a screw," he said, laughing at his joke. "Ow!" Boruto exclaimed, touching his nose gently. "Mom, why are you hitting me?"

"You shouldn't make fun of people, Boruto. I didn't teach you that," Hinata said in a serious voice.

"But it's the truth, what can I say?" Boruto said, shrugging his shoulders.

"You shouldn't think yourself superior, Boruto. After all, you're still a child and nothing will change that," Hinata said.

Boruto sighed tiredly and nodded.

"Well, then we'll go after lunch. I don't think you have better things to do, do you?" Hinata said with a not-so-friendly smile, implying that they would go no matter what.

Boruto complained, saying that it was more important to read his books than to make meaningless friends.

Hinata continued to smile strangely at her son. "Boruto, you have to understand that only when you have something to protect and love will you be able to bring out your full potential," Hinata said.

"Friends and family would only slow me down," Boruto said.

Hinata, with a hand on her heart and leaning back in her chair, asked, "Don't you love your mother?"

Boruto, frightened by what he had said, replied, "I love my mother, above all," embarrassed by his words, with a blush on his face, he lowered his head.

Hinata laughed at what her son had said and said, "I love you too. Come here, give me a hug," Hinata said with amusement. Boruto got down from the chair and went to give his mother a hug with affection and a smile.

"Can I at least bring my book to read?" Boruto asked, making a cute puppy face.

Hinata couldn't resist her son's cuteness and nodded, giving him a tight, loving hug as she smiled at how adorable he was.

After eating and Hinata washing the dishes, they left the house towards the park, so that Boruto could make friends and protect them in the future.

On the way to the park, people greeted my mother with a bow, and my mother did the same out of kindness. After walking for a few minutes, a park could be seen where many children were playing. Boruto, by chance, heard the sound of a can falling to the ground and, turning to the right, saw an alley. Looking down, he saw a black cat with blue eyes staring at him. When Boruto looked up to continue walking, at the end of the alley, about 300 meters or more, a dark gray abandoned factory could be seen. He felt a strange sensation in his chest, but he didn't give it any importance and continued on his way to the park.

When they arrived at the park, Hinata led Boruto to sit on a bench. Hinata gently sat down on the bench and offered her hand to her son to sit next to her. Boruto pulled out a book he was holding and began to read, taking in his surroundings. After a while, he noticed the children playing in the playground of the park.

—Aren't you going to play with them, Boruto? After all, that's what we came here for. I don't want you to be a loner —Hinata said calmly as she watched him.

Boruto nodded and gave his book to his mother to keep, getting off the bench and walking towards the playground of the park, although not in a very good way. He stood aside where all the children were playing and observed them carefully.

"Do I really have to play with them, they run around like idiots and scream?" Boruto said, watching them tiredly.

At that moment, from a fairly short distance away, a few children slowly approached him. One of them, a five-year-old boy with straight brown hair and brown eyes, was wearing a white shirt and brown pants, along with sandals of the same color. Behind him, a girl with the same color hair, but shoulder-length, with brown eyes, a sky-blue shirt and gray pants, and black sandals. Both children were wearing not-so-clean clothes.

—What is your name? —asked the boy.

"You should say yours first before asking anyone else's," Boruto said with an unfriendly expression.

—Hahaha, I apologize. My name is Jiro Takahashi and this is my sister Yuki Takahashi. It's a pleasure —Jiro said, reaching out his hand towards Boruto.

—My name is Boruto Uzumaki, it's a pleasure —Boruto said, shaking hands. After letting go of their hands, Boruto asked—: Why did you approach me?

Flashback: Jiro could see a blond haired, blue eyed boy wearing a black hoodie with red lines on each side, and black sandals. The blond boy walked towards where the children were gathered playing, watching them and standing aside without interacting. He was curious to see a boy the same age as his sister, looking boredly at the other children playing.

Back to the present: "So I wanted to talk to you and ask you a question. Why don't you play with them? After all, they're the same age," Jiro said, looking at the children running around.

"It's boring. They run around aimlessly, unable to think rationally. It's tiring just seeing how stupid they are," Boruto said with no emotions on his face.

Jiro was surprised by what Boruto said, and then laughed lightly.

"Hahaha, how funny," Jiro said with a small laugh.

Boruto looked at him emotionlessly and asked, "Why are you laughing? What do you find funny?"

—Oh, it's nothing. It's just that finding someone who thinks the same way as me is strange and funny, Jiro said.

"Joo," Boruto said.

"Do you want to play with us? We have a chess set and some building toys," Jiro said, pointing to the other corner of the play area, where there were some small chairs and a similarly sized table with a rectangular box and some building toys.

—I guess the building toys are the girl's —Boruto thought.

Boruto nodded as he walked towards the place where he would play with his new companions. As he watched them, he thought in detail, "Although their clothes are a little dirty, their bodies are clean. It's quite strange, it's like no one takes care of them, they only take care of each other. Hahaha," Boruto laughed in his mind, "it's not like I care anyway."

They reached the chairs and sat down. Yuki sat next to Jiro, taking the figurines and starting to play with them while watching his brother and Boruto play chess. Jiro opened the chess box that was on the table, placing the pieces in their place.

—Well, Boruto, what color do you choose? Or at least, do you know the rules of chess? — Jiro laughed , with his hand behind his head, thinking that he should at least explain the rules to Boruto before starting.

Boruto, with a smile, said, "Of course I know. Who do you take me for? Didn't you say we think alike? Hahaha, I choose black."

"Well then, I'll take white," Jiro said, moving the board and placing his pieces. Yuki whispered, "Begin," causing Boruto and Jiro to listen to her. They started playing while saying the following:

Both boys proved to be intelligent as they moved the pieces around. Boruto loved the challenge of playing with his opponent, and Jiro, being older, had more knowledge of the game and a higher chance of winning. However, Boruto was not intimidated and enjoyed every strategic move.

"I see you know what you're doing," Jiro said as he moved his pawn forward. "But can you foresee this move?"

— Hmm , interesting move —Boruto replied, studying the board—. But I already thought of that. —He moved his bishop to counter Jiro's move—. It won't be that easy to beat me.

"I like your confidence," Jiro said, smiling. "Trust is important, but so is patience."

"Patience?" Boruto smiled slyly. "Is this what you mean?" He moved his rook to threaten Jiro's key piece.

Jiro raised an eyebrow, impressed. "Not bad, Boruto. But what are you going to do with this?" Jiro moved his queen, changing the focus of the battle.

Boruto thought for a moment, then smiled. "Interesting. Are you trying to corner me?" He moved his horse, threatening Jiro's queen.

"I'm not trying to corner you, Boruto," Jiro said, returning his gaze. "I'm just testing your wits." He pulled his queen back to a safe position and added, "So far, I'm quite impressed."

"Try my wits?" Boruto laughed. "Then let me return the favor." He moved his bishop again, putting himself in an advantageous position.

Jiro looked at the board, assessing the situation. "Very well played. But I still have a couple of tricks up my sleeve." He moved his knight to thwart Boruto's strategy.

"Not bad!" Boruto exclaimed, amused. "But don't underestimate an Uzumaki." He moved his queen to capture a key piece from Jiro.

Yuki, watching silently, let out a laugh. "How exciting! I've never seen such an intense match."

"It is," Jiro said, keeping his cool. "Boruto, you are proving yourself to be a worthy opponent. But the real question is, how will you react to this?" He moved his pawn, preparing a trap.

Boruto analyzed the move and, after a few seconds, smiled. "There's only one way to find out." He moved his last rook, threatening Jiro's king. "Check."

Jiro looked thoughtfully at the board. "Excellent move, Boruto. Now let's see if you can turn this into a victory."

The game continued with both boys immersed in their game, each displaying their intelligence and chess skill. Each move was a test of ingenuity, and both enjoyed the challenge and the budding camaraderie between them.

Finally, Jiro saw the opportunity he had been waiting for. With a calculated move, he placed his queen in a decisive position. "Checkmate."

Boruto looked at the board in surprise and then smiled widely. " Wow , Jiro! You're really good."

Jiro smiled modestly. "It was a great match, Boruto. You are a formidable opponent."

Yuki clapped softly. "It was amazing watching them play! They're both very smart."

"Another game?" Boruto suggested, gathering the pieces from the board. "I don't give up easily. Next time, I'll be the one to win."

"I hope so," Jiro said, extending his hand. "Until then, we'll keep improving."

Boruto shook Jiro's hand. "Deal."

Both boys set up the board again, ready for another round. The friendship between them grew stronger with each move, creating a bond that only healthy competition can forge.

Before the whole game started, Hinata watched Boruto from a distance, watching as he stood in a corner of the playground, watching the other kids play. 'He's probably insulting them in his mind,' Hinata thought, feeling a little embarrassed as she imagined what her son might be thinking.

Suddenly, Hinata noticed a boy and a girl approaching Boruto. She watched as the boy raised his hand to wave, and Boruto, to her surprise, did the same. A happy glow appeared on Hinata's face as she watched her son interact. "He's finally made a friend!" she thought happily.

The boy seemed to be pointing towards a nearby table, where there were several things. Boruto began to walk towards it with the other children, while Hinata followed them with her eyes, observing every detail carefully.

Arriving at the table, the boys sat down and uncovered what looked like a chess board. Hinata watched them play, and after a while, she saw Boruto shake the boy's hand, smiling at him before starting another game. With a big smile on her face, Hinata thought, "Finally, Boruto has found friends his own age. He won't be alone anymore; now he has something to protect."

After a while, Boruto approached his mother, who was sitting on a bench, with her new friends by her side and a smile on her face.

—Well done, Boruto! You've managed to make friends. Are you going to introduce them to me? —Hinata said with a gentle smile as she looked at the two children next to Boruto.

"No need, Hinata-sama. I will introduce myself," the boy said confidently. "My name is Jiro Takahashi, and this is my sister, Yuki Takahashi."

"Wow! Do you know me?" Hinata asked, still wearing her friendly smile.

—Of course, you are the wife of Konoha's hero, Naruto Uzumaki, the great savior of the world, the creator of peace between the villages —Jiro replied, laughing a little nervously while scratching his head.

Yuki approached Hinata, looking at her with eyes full of admiration and said that when she grew up she wanted to be like her, a great ninja to help her village.

—I didn't think you were fans of my parents — Boruto said laughing — Yuki's dream is great, and yours, Jiro, is to be Hokage? Hahaha, that's funny. First you'll have to be the strongest in the village, and from what I see, you're far from that.

"BORUTO!" Hinata shouted, scolding her son. "You shouldn't make fun of other people's dreams. You're grounded, you won't be reading your books today. Or do you want to lose the friends you just made?"

—But mother... —Boruto said incredulously.

—Don't pay attention to them, Jiro, Yuki. I'm sure they can achieve their dreams, they just need to try hard —said Hinata smiling gently at the siblings.

—Boruto, apologize for what you said —Hinata ordered, looking at her son.

"I apologize for what I said about you. I shouldn't have made fun of your dreams," Boruto said, bowing deeply.

"Don't worry, I know you didn't mean any harm. After all, I beat you in every chess game," Jiro replied with a smile.

Boruto looked at him with a challenging expression and thought, "Do you want to fight?"

Hinata and Yuki laughed softly as they saw Boruto's gaze towards Jiro.

"It's time to go," Hinata said, looking at Boruto.

"Come back whenever you want, Boruto. We live right across the street," Jiro said, pointing to a house on the other side of the park. "Just ring the bell and we'll go out and play."

"Next time I come, I'll definitely beat you at chess, no matter what," Boruto said with a defiant smile, to which Jiro responded with another smile.

"See you later, little Yuki," Boruto said, ruffling her hair.

—See you later, Yuki, Jiro —Hinata said goodbye.

In this way, they said goodbye and each walked towards their home.

A few days passed after Boruto met Jiro and Yuki at the park. During that time, Boruto couldn't stop thinking about the games and how much fun he had with his new friends. One day, he decided to visit them at their house, which was just across the park.

Upon arriving, he rang the doorbell excitedly. Jiro opened the door with a smile and said, "Boruto! It's so nice of you to come. We were waiting for you to come by."

Yuki, peeking behind her brother, waved shyly, but her smile revealed how happy she was to see him. Boruto entered the house, looking around curiously. The Takahashi brothers' house was simple but cozy, with toys and books scattered across the floor.

"Come on, I'll show you where we play," Jiro said, leading Boruto into a room filled with building blocks and action figures. "Yuki and I love building things. We can make a tower or a fortress, whatever you prefer."

"Let's build a fortress!" Boruto replied enthusiastically, always looking for fun in everything he did.

As they played, Jiro, in his serious but kind tone, began to tell Boruto more about them. "Our mom… isn't with us anymore," he said, his voice lowering a bit. "She died when Yuki and I were younger. Now, we only have our dad, but he works a lot, so we take care of each other."

Boruto, who always acted carefree and cheerful, felt a lump in his throat when he heard this. He didn't know exactly how to respond, but he noticed the sadness in Yuki's eyes, who had stopped playing to listen to his brother. With an awkward gesture, Boruto took Yuki's hand and said, "I'll be here for you too."

Yuki gave him a small smile in return, grateful for his gesture. "Thank you, Boruto. You're a good friend," she whispered.

Jiro, seeing the seriousness of the situation, decided to lighten the mood. "Hey, Boruto! How about we have a race to see who finishes their part of the fortress first? Although I think I'll beat you, like in chess."

Boruto, regaining his competitive attitude, smiled widely. "I'll beat you this time, Jiro! Yuki, you can be the judge."

And so, the three friends spent the afternoon building, laughing, and sharing moments. Despite their different personalities, Boruto found a special connection in Jiro and Yuki, something more than just friends. He was beginning to see them as part of his life, as a bond he wanted to protect.

After an afternoon full of games and new friendships, Boruto decided it was time to go home.

"I have to go now," Boruto said, putting away the toys and chess. "I'll see you soon, okay?"

Jiro nodded with a smile. "Sure, Boruto. We'll be waiting for you!"

Yuki, a little shy, gave him a small wave, smiling sweetly.

Boruto, with a smile on his face, said goodbye and started walking towards his house. As he walked away, he couldn't help but think about how much he had enjoyed the afternoon and how excited he was to play with his new friends again.

It's been a month since Boruto met Jiro and Yuki, and during this time, he's been visiting them a couple of times a week. Together they've formed an unbreakable friendship, sharing laughter and adventures at every encounter. But today, Boruto is alone in the backyard of his house, sitting under the shade of a tree, with a book titled * Chakra and Kekkei Genkais * in his hands. Although he's only three years old, Boruto has developed a keen interest in reading, especially enjoying learning about the ninja world and its secrets. As he reads, the atmosphere is calm, and although he usually enjoys the company of his friends, today his mind is elsewhere, thinking about his mother and the birth of his sister, which is happening in the hospital with his father by his side.

---- Boruto, always curious and eager to learn, already demonstrated at a young age an exceptional interest in the ninja world that fascinated him so much. With contagious enthusiasm, he began to read aloud, immersing himself in the secrets of chakra and Kekkei Genkais with a passion that overflowed his small figure. With enthusiasm, he began to read aloud:

" Chakra : is the life energy of the body, essential to any jutsu , even the most basic. It is a mixture of the physical energy present in every cell of a living being's body and the spiritual energy acquired through meditation, exercise, and experience. Once mixed, it can be channeled through the chakra circulatory system, which is like the blood circulatory system but with chakra, to any of the 361 Tenketsu in the body. Through various methods, the most common being hand seals, and through understanding chakra or another method one will be able to know one's chakra natures.

Some people, after awakening chakra, gain a unique ability called Kekkei Genkais : unique techniques or skills that depend on genetic factors. Kekkei Genkai and their jutsu cannot be copied or taught, but there are several exceptions. It could be said that there are three types of Kekkei Genkai: one of them are the Dōjutsu , ocular jutsus; several people have managed to have a Dōjutsu without having the blood of the clan. Another type of Kekkei Genkai is the one obtained when two types of chakra nature are simultaneously joined, creating a new advanced element. Few people can do this feat, as it is very difficult. Although in some cases Kekkei Genkai are usually transmitted genetically, sometimes, even if parents have a Kekkei Genkai, nothing ensures that their children will inherit the same power.

As he finished reading, Boruto frowned, taking in the information. "So it's like this..." he muttered to himself, intrigued by the complexity and power of chakra.

Turning to the next page, he found some instructions on how to meditate. With the natural curiosity of a child and the desire to experience what he had read, Boruto placed the book aside, assumed the lotus position, closed his eyes, and began to follow the instructions. He took a deep breath and tried to focus on his navel, trying to feel the chakra as the book described it.

After a few moments of concentration, Boruto felt a slight pang in his navel. Opening his eyes, he saw, in his mind, a blue energy that seemed to flow within him. "This is chakra..." he thought, marveling at what he was experiencing.

He decided to try and distribute that energy throughout his body, just as he had read. Little by little, he began to feel a tingling in different points of his body, as if small blue light bulbs were lighting up in each of his 361 Tenketsu. As he opened each point, Boruto noticed that his senses were heightened, allowing him to perceive his surroundings in a way he had never experienced before. He could sense the presence of other people near his house, and although he couldn't see them, he knew exactly where they were.

A sudden itch in his right eye snapped him out of his concentration. Boruto rubbed his eye with his hand, but didn't think much of it. He was too absorbed in the knowledge he had just discovered and decided to continue exploring his chakra. He picked up the book again and flipped through it carefully, paying close attention to each page and image he turned to. Without realizing it, he began memorizing every detail with surprising ease. Finally, he found a section titled "Sensor Type."

He read quietly, "A Sensor-type is a ninja who possesses the ability to detect the presence of other people through their chakra. Unlike ordinary ninja, an expert Sensor can locate their targets from a great distance and distinguish individuals by the unique profile of their chakra. This ability not only allows them to locate enemies with precision, but also recognize allies and detect changes in the environment with great accuracy."

The concept of chakra sensing fascinated Boruto. His mind filled with images of how he could use this ability to his advantage and how sensors could gain a strategic advantage in any situation. With each word he read, his excitement grew, further fueling his desire to learn and master the intricacies of the ninja world.

"A sensor..." Boruto muttered, fascinated. "This is new and interesting. If I learn to control my chakra, I'll be able to improve my sensor ability."

Without wasting any time, he moved on to the part of the book that talked about "Chakra Control" . The instructions suggested placing a leaf on your forehead and holding it there using chakra, without letting it fall off. Without thinking twice, Boruto searched for a leaf and placed it on his forehead, trying to follow the instructions.

However, on his first attempt, the blade shot forward, catching him by surprise. " Wow , that wasn't what I expected!" he exclaimed, picking up another blade. This time, the blade disintegrated into tiny pieces. Despite his failures, Boruto didn't give up. He tried again and again, each attempt more precise than the last.

Finally, as the sun began to set, Boruto decided he would make one last attempt before calling it a day. He placed the blade on his forehead, took a deep breath, and with a firm determination, channeled his chakra in a controlled manner. To his amazement, the blade stuck to his forehead, neither flying off nor disintegrating. "Hahaha, I did it!" Boruto laughed , celebrating his small but significant triumph.

With a smile on his face, Boruto thought about showing the book to Jiro and Yuki, wondering how long it would take them to accomplish what he had just done. Eager to share his discovery, he decided that on his next visit to his friends' house, he would bring the book with him.

As she entered her house, just as she was about to go up the stairs, she heard the sound of the front door opening. She turned around to see Naruto and Hinata entering, both with a joyful expression on their faces and a small bundle in their arms.

"Boruto, we're here," Naruto said with a smile, seeing his son near the stairs.

"Hi Mom, hi Dad," Boruto greeted, running towards them.

Hinata leaned down a little, showing Boruto the baby she was carrying in her arms. "She's your sister," she said softly. "Her name is Himawari."

Boruto looked at the little girl, and with curiosity and tenderness, he gently touched her cheeks. He felt that something in his life had just changed, and now, in addition to his friends, he had a sister to protect and love.

---- The next day , Boruto woke up with renewed excitement. The day before had been extraordinary: he had managed to awaken his chakra and had met his newborn sister, Himawari. Eager to share the good news, he decided to bring with him a book on chakra and Kekkei Genkais that he had been reading, to show to his friends Jiro and Yuki. With a smile on his face and the book under his arm, he ran off to the siblings' house.

Upon arriving, he excitedly rang the bell, expecting Jiro or Yuki to quickly appear as usual. But this time, there was no answer. Boruto waited a moment and rang the bell again, this time a little more insistently. The silence that followed began to unsettle him, a bad feeling settling in his chest. Without thinking much, he decided to try to open the door. To his surprise, it was ajar.

He pushed the door open slowly and what he saw on the other side left him frozen: Jiro and Yuki were on the floor, unconscious and visibly beaten. The book he was holding fell to the ground with a thud as Boruto ran towards them. He quickly knelt down beside Jiro, lifting his head and placing it on his knees, his heart racing and his mind full of questions.

—Wake up, Jiro! Wake up! —Boruto shouted, shaking him gently, desperate to see some sign of life in his friend—. What's going on? Why aren't you guys waking up? —he said with a trembling voice and his eyes starting to fill with tears. —I'll go call my mom to get help! —he added, determined, as he gently put Jiro's head on the ground and began to get up.

Just before he could do so, he felt a weak hand grab his.

—No need, Boruto... calm down... I'm fine now —Jiro murmured in a barely audible voice.

"JIRO!" Boruto shouted, relieved but still full of worry. He carefully lifted Jiro's head. "What happened? Why are they all so beat up? Did someone break in?" He asked, looking around and noticing that everything in the house seemed to be in its place. "What happened here, Jiro? Tell me the truth!"

Jiro tried to smile, albeit weakly.

—You really care about us, Boruto —he said with an attempt at a laugh, followed by a couple of coughs that showed how weak he was—. Don't worry so much... we don't need a doctor... I already told you...

"Don't laugh, Jiro! You're really hurt!" Boruto insisted, his eyes filled with worry. "I'll call my mom to bring a doctor."

—No need, Boruto... I already told you... we don't want any trouble... —said Jiro, in a tone that mixed gratitude and resignation.

"Trouble?" Boruto replied, confused and worried. "It's not a problem. I'm telling you I'm going to talk to my mom."

—I'm saying this for us, Boruto... We don't want this to get any more complicated... —Jiro replied, looking down.

"What are you talking about?" Boruto insisted, feeling his heart racing. "Are you protecting the person who did this to you, Jiro? Tell me what's going on!"

Jiro took a deep breath, trying to stand firm.

—I'll tell you, but first... can you put Yuki on the couch? She just has a bump on her head, she's unconscious...

Boruto, nodding silently, carefully lifted Yuki up and carried her to the nearest couch, gently laying her down. He then returned to Jiro, helping him sit next to his sister.

—Now, Jiro, tell me... what happened? —Boruto asked seriously.

Jiro lowered his gaze before answering, as if the words weighed on his soul.

—It was... our father... he did this to us...

"What?!" Boruto exclaimed, unable to believe what he was hearing. "How is this possible?! You are his children! He shouldn't hurt you!"

—I'm weak, Boruto... that's why we suffer... —Jiro said, his voice full of sadness and resignation—. There's no other explanation. I couldn't protect my sister...

Boruto stared at him, unconvinced.

"That's not the whole story, Jiro. You're hiding something else. Tell me the truth!" he insisted, determined to find out everything that had happened.

Jiro sighed deeply, and with a slight smile that did not reach his eyes, he began to relate:

"You're right, Boruto… you deserve to know everything. On the day Yuki was born… our mother died while giving birth. Ever since then, our father blames Yuki for her death. Today, when he was serving the food, he ignored Yuki completely. She wanted to share the food he had given me, and that made him furious. He knocked the plates onto the floor and yelled at us that Yuki was our mother's murderer. I tried to defend her… but…"

Jiro stopped, his words trembling with the pain of memories.

"I told him that he was the real killer and a bad father…" she continued, closing her eyes as if trying to push away the memory. "That made him even angrier. He beat me mercilessly, and when Yuki tried to intervene… he got hit so hard that she was knocked unconscious. After that… he just walked away… like a coward."

Silence fell over the room as Boruto processed what he had just heard. His heart was pounding, feeling a mix of fear, sadness, and rage.

—But... from what you said... it seems like this isn't the first time something like this has happened... —Boruto finally said, his voice low.

—No, it's not... it's happened more than ten times already... —Jiro replied, touching his head in a gesture of embarrassment.

—Then, I'm going to talk to my parents. This has to stop. They can help —Boruto insisted, determined to do something.

"No, Boruto!" Jiro quickly replied. "He is our father… after all… I don't want to get him into trouble. Besides, I'm the one who's weak, unable to protect my sister."

Boruto looked at him, incredulous.

—Jiro, this can't continue! You have to think about Yuki. She's suffering... —he said, in a voice that combined determination and pleading.

Jiro gently stroked his sister's hair.

—I don't want us to be separated from him... even with all this... I want to protect Yuki, but I also want us to be together...

Boruto took a step back, frightened by the intensity with which Jiro spoke. It was the first time he saw his friend so determined, and also the first time someone yelled at him.

"Well… then I will help you get stronger," Boruto finally said, with a firm voice.

"What are you talking about, Boruto?" Jiro asked, surprised.

—I have a method to help you become stronger so you can protect Yuki. —Boruto remembered the book he had dropped at the entrance and ran to pick it up—. This book will teach you about chakra and Kekkei Genkais. We will read it together, and I will help you awaken your chakra. We will train together. What do you say, Jiro? Do you want to try it?

Jiro looked at the book and then at Boruto. A weak but sincere smile appeared on his face.

—Hahaha... Okay, I accept. We'll do it together.

Boruto smiled widely, relieved to see his friend regain some of his energy.

—Hahaha... I almost forgot to tell you —Boruto added, putting a hand behind his head—. I already awakened my chakra... and my sister was born well. That's what I came to tell you today.

Jiro laughed softly, and for a moment, the weight of what they had experienced seemed to lighten.

—Thank you, Boruto... for being here.

After the terrible experience they had been through, Boruto decided that he would not leave Jiro and Yuki alone. He knew that what had happened was serious, and although Jiro insisted that he not involve the adults, Boruto was determined to help him become stronger so that he could protect his sister.

The next day, Boruto arrived early at Jiro's house, carrying the same book on chakra and Kekkei Genkais that he had brought the day before. This time, when he rang the doorbell, it was Jiro who opened the door, albeit with a tired expression and bandages on some parts of his body. Yuki, though still weak, was resting on the sofa.

—Good morning, Jiro! —Boruto greeted with a smile that tried to spread positive energy—. Today is the day. Let's start training.

Jiro nodded, still somewhat unsure, but willing to follow his friend.

"Where do we start?" he asked, trying to hide his nervousness.

"First, let's understand what chakra is," Boruto began, opening the book to a basic section. "Chakra is the energy that ninjas use to perform jutsus. It comes from the combination of physical energy and spiritual energy. When these two energies mix in the body, they form chakra, which can then be channeled and controlled for different purposes."

Jiro nodded, paying attention to every word.

"So, to awaken your chakra, you need to learn to sense that energy within you and then learn to control it," Boruto explained, showing an illustration in the book that detailed the flow of chakra in the body. "Let's start with something simple. Sit down and close your eyes."

Jiro complied, sitting on the floor with his legs crossed and closing his eyes as Boruto instructed.

"Now, focus on your breathing," Boruto said in a calm voice. "Inhale deeply through your nose, feeling the air fill your lungs, and then exhale through your mouth. Do this several times until you feel relaxed."

Jiro began to breathe deeply, following the rhythm that Boruto set for him. Little by little, he began to relax, leaving behind the tension that had accumulated due to recent events.

—Okay, now that you're relaxed, I want you to try to feel your body from the inside —Boruto continued—. Try to feel something different, like a current or a vibration inside you. That's your chakra energy. It can be in the center of your abdomen or in your chest, where you feel a concentration of heat or energy.

Jiro frowned, concentrating deeply. It was difficult, but he slowly began to feel a slight tingling in the center of his chest, like a small spark igniting.

"I guess... I'm sorry," Jiro murmured, his tone surprised.

"That's it!" Boruto exclaimed excitedly. "Now, try to direct that energy into your hands. Imagine that spark moving through your body, down your arms, all the way to your hands."

Jiro visualized the energy slowly moving through his body. It took a while, but he eventually felt a slight warmth in the palms of his hands.

—I'm doing it, Boruto! —Jiro said, opening his eyes in amazement, looking at his hands as if they were something new.

Boruto smiled proudly, knowing his friend was on the right path.

—You did it, Jiro! Now, we're going to do this every day. With practice, you'll learn to control your chakra better, and eventually you'll be able to use it to perform jutsus. This is just the beginning.

Jiro nodded determinedly, feeling a new sense of purpose. Although he was still hurt, the hope that he could protect his sister and become stronger gave him the strength to keep going.

From that day on, Boruto and Jiro met every day to train. They practiced concentration and chakra control exercises, while Boruto shared with him everything he had learned from his own training and from the books he read. Little by little, Jiro began to feel more secure and confident in his abilities, and his relationship with Boruto grew even stronger.

Yuki, though still young and having suffered a lot, watched her brother and Boruto train, also feeling a spark of hope in her heart. She knew that, with time, things would get better, and with Boruto by her side, they were on their way to becoming stronger together.

--- Two years have passed since that terrible incident, and Boruto is now 5 years old, while Jiro is 7. Both have grown up, with Jiro being slightly taller than Boruto, and Yuki, now 5 years old, always watching them with a mix of admiration and sadness. During these two years, Boruto and Jiro have been training together in chakra control, preparing for the Ninja Academy, certain that their skills would be useful to them in the future. However, Yuki had not yet managed to awaken her chakra, something common for many children her age, but which made her feel excluded from her friends' activities.

"Boruto, it's time to head back. It's getting late," Jiro said, as he packed his things into a backpack. "Yuki, come. It's time to go home," he called in a soft voice, as the little girl approached with slow steps from the edge of the training ground that was near their houses.

After walking for a few minutes together, Boruto said goodbye to Jiro and Yuki at an intersection, taking a different route to his home. As he walked alone, his thoughts took him back two years, to the events that changed his and his friends' lives.

Flashback:

In those days, Jiro and Yuki's father still beat them. There were days when Boruto would find his friends battered, with visible wounds on their bodies. Boruto, desperate to protect them, decided to learn the medical art so he could heal them. He couldn't stand to see them suffer, so, with determination, he began to practice chakra control, devoting time and effort for a year. Finally, when he was 4 years old, Boruto managed to generate a faint sky-blue energy in his hand. He had learned the Jutsu : Mystic Palm , although the energy it produced was low, meaning it could only heal minor wounds. Still, it was a great achievement, and Boruto felt elated, giving a cry of joy at finding that he could help his friends in a concrete way.

Back to the present:

As Boruto walked towards his house, he looked at his hand and cast the Mystic Palm Technique . The sky-blue energy appeared once again, faint but present. Boruto closed his hand, stopping the flow of chakra, and began to walk faster. Arriving home, he opened the door, carefully arranged his sandals at the entrance, and entered the living room.

"Hi, Mom," Boruto greeted with a smile.

"Hello, son. How are you? How are your friends?" Hinata asked from the kitchen, in his usual soft and loving tone.

"I'm fine, Mom. My friends are fine too," Boruto replied, as he walked to the center of the room.

There, on the floor, was Himawari, his little sister, playing with some toys. She had short, dark blue hair, blue eyes like the sea, and two small whiskers on each cheek, a clear reflection of her parents' heritage. Boruto approached her, watching her tenderly.

"Hey, Himawari. I'll play with you later, okay? I'm your older brother after all," Boruto said, smiling. Himawari looked at him and nodded with a smile that lit up Boruto's heart.

"Dinner will be ready in a moment. Boruto, go call your father, he's in his office," Hinata told him, smiling at him from the kitchen.

Boruto stood up and, leaving the living room, walked up the stairs to his father's office. Opening the door, he saw Naruto lying on a couch, covered in a blanket, surrounded by papers and scrolls scattered everywhere. As he walked forward, Boruto heard a metallic sound and looked down to see two kunais on the floor. He carefully picked them up, putting one in his pocket, thinking of giving it to Jiro for a friendly spar. A small smile appeared on his face at the thought.

"Dad, wake up. Dinner is already served, we have to go eat," Boruto said loudly, approaching Naruto.

Naruto slowly woke up, sat down on the couch, and smiled at the sight of his son. "Hey, Boruto. Did you come to wake me up for dinner? Good boy," he said, ruffling Boruto's hair. "How are your friends?"

"They're fine. They send their regards," Boruto replied with a smile.

Naruto chuckled softly. "I'm glad to hear you're all okay. Well, let's go eat. I have some important news to tell you over dinner, something I think you'll be happy about," Naruto said, getting up from the couch and stretching his arms out to stretch.

Boruto looked at him curiously, but didn't say anything. Together, they walked down the stairs, Naruto carrying his 5-year-old son in his arms, something he still enjoyed doing. Reaching the living room, they sat down at the dining table, where Himawari stood next to Hinata, fiddling with a piece of food.

Naruto took a breath and, with a big smile, announced, "I have some important news. In a month, I will be the Seventh Hokage."

Hinata, with a big smile, stood up from her chair and hugged Naruto affectionately. "Naruto, you have been able to fulfill your dream. Now you will be the Hokage, the Seventh Hokage."

Boruto also got down from his chair and ran to hug his father, congratulating him on the achievement he had made. Himawari, although she didn't fully understand what it meant, followed her brother's example and hugged Naruto as well, filling the moment with family tenderness.

"When was it announced that you would be the next Hokage?" Boruto asked, his eyes shining with excitement.

"This afternoon, during a meeting. I was surprised, but also filled with joy," Naruto replied, smiling widely.

"Congratulations, Naruto-kun," Hinata said, her voice soft and warm.

The family hugged each other once again, savoring the moment of happiness and anticipation for the future that awaited them.

One month later:

It's been four weeks since Naruto announced his promotion to the position of Seventh Hokage. During this month, Boruto hasn't been able to spend much time with Jiro and Yuki. The preparation for the ceremony, along with the obligations related to his father's new position, have kept him busy. However, today was the day he had been waiting for, the day Naruto would officially assume his new role as Hokage.

The sun was just beginning to set, bathing Konoha in a warm, golden glow. The streets were filled with people, all excited for the ceremony to be held that evening. The flags of the Hidden Leaf Village were proudly flying, and preparations were in full swing. In the heart of the village, in front of the Hokage building, a large crowd had gathered to witness the historic event.

Boruto, dressed in his best clothes and with a look of great excitement on his face, walked through the streets of Konoha accompanied by Hinata and Himawari. His mother was serene but cheerful, and Himawari, in her little dress, seemed to understand that it was a special day.

"Today's the big day!" Boruto exclaimed, jumping up and down in excitement. "I can't wait to see dad in his new role."

"Yes, Boruto, I'm sure it will be an impressive ceremony," Hinata said, smiling at her son.

Arriving at the plaza in front of the Hokage building, Boruto saw that the crowd was already settling in. There were chairs set out for the dignitaries and a large platform decorated with flowers and flags. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, and the village residents were visibly excited.

Naruto, still in his office, was preparing for the event. He wore an elegant ceremonial kimono, which was adorned with the Hokage's emblems. With one last glance at his reflection in the mirror, he made his way to the ceremony area. The attendees greeted him with respect and admiration, acknowledging the weight of his new role.

"Dad looks amazing!" Boruto exclaimed, pointing at his father who was leaving the office. Hinata nodded proudly, and Himawari, though small, looked equally excited.

The ceremony began with the arrival of several leaders and important figures from other villages. There were speeches, congratulations, and introductions that filled the air. Boruto watched it all intently, knowing that this day meant a lot to his family and the village.

Finally, the climax of the ceremony arrived. Naruto made his way to the platform, where the former Hokage, the Sixth Hokage, would present him with the Hokage emblem, the symbol of his new position. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as Naruto took the emblem in his hands.

"Today, with great honor, I hand over the title of Hokage to my successor, the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki," the Sixth Hokage said with a smile. Naruto accepted the emblem with a deep bow and an expression of sincere gratitude.

With the emblem in hand, Naruto addressed the crowd. "From this day forward, I pledge to protect and serve our village with all my heart. I hope to be worthy of this honor and work to maintain the peace and prosperity of Konoha," he declared in a loud, clear voice.

Naruto's speech was met with a standing ovation. People cheered and clapped, excited for the future their new Hokage promised them. Boruto looked at his father with pride, feeling a deep admiration for him.

As the sun set, the sky turned shades of orange and pink, creating a beautiful backdrop for the event. The celebrations continued with music, dancing, and food. The plaza was bustling with life, and everyone basked in the collective joy of Naruto's accomplishment.

Boruto, Hinata, and Himawari joined in the celebration, sharing laughter and good times. Boruto found Jiro and Yuki in the crowd and approached them, excited to see his friends again.

"Jiro, Yuki! I couldn't come to play during this month, but today is a very special day. Dad is the new Hokage!" Boruto exclaimed.

Jiro and Yuki smiled and congratulated Boruto on his father's achievement. "Congratulations to your dad! We knew this day was coming. We're so happy to see him fulfill his dream," Jiro said, while Yuki nodded with a smile.

"Thank you, guys. I'm so happy you're here to share this moment," Boruto said.

The night continued with a festive atmosphere, and Boruto felt filled with gratitude and pride. Looking around, he saw his family and friends celebrating together, and he knew that even though he had been busy, this was a day he would always remember fondly and with horror.

-- A few minutes later, Boruto's friends said their goodbyes and headed home. Before parting ways, Jiro and Yuki told Boruto something that had been left silent during the day: today was the anniversary of his mother's death and Yuki's birthday. They had visited the cemetery early in the morning to honor her memory.

Boruto, surprised and a little embarrassed, quickly replied, "I'm so sorry, guys. If you had told me, I would have accompanied you. And, Yuki, I didn't know it was your birthday. I feel bad for not bringing you a present."

Yuki, with a shy smile and a glint of joy in her voice, replied, "Don't worry, Boruto. You can give me a present tomorrow."

"No!" Boruto exclaimed with determination. "I'll go buy your present right now and bring it to you tonight. I can't let such a special day pass without celebrating!"

Yuki tried to insist: "You don't have to worry so much..."

Jiro, taking advantage of the situation, let out a chuckle and said in a mocking tone, "It seems like they're all very lovey-dovey... What's wrong? Are they going to say they're a couple?"

Boruto and Yuki blushed in unison, shaking their heads as they stammered out excuses. Jiro, satisfied with his joke, turned around to walk back to his house. Yuki followed him, shyly bidding farewell to Boruto.

Boruto watched them walk away, and just as he thought about leaving as well, he noticed Jiro and Yuki disappear from his sight in the blink of an eye. "What a scare!" he muttered to himself as he turned around and walked in the opposite direction.

Walking through the streets of Konoha, Boruto found a toy store that was still open. As he entered, a small bell rang, announcing his presence. Boruto began browsing the shelves, looking for something special for Yuki. As he did, he remembered the kunai he had in his pocket, which he had forgotten to give to Jiro. He thought for a moment about whether it would make a good gift for Yuki, but quickly dismissed the idea, knowing that he should find something more suitable.

Finally, his eyes landed on a teddy bear. "Perfect!" he thought, imagining the smile on Yuki's face when he received it. Determined, he picked it up and carried it to the counter, paying the 10 riyals it cost. With the teddy bear in hand, Boruto headed towards the Takahashi house to deliver the gift.

As he walked through the quiet streets, he began to feel a little nervous. He wasn't used to doing this kind of thing for his friends, but he felt like it was the right thing to do. As he approached the Takahashi house, his tranquility was interrupted by a heart-wrenching scream coming from a nearby alley.

Boruto's heart raced as he recognized the voice. Without a second thought, he ran into the alley, praying that it wasn't his friends who were in danger. Upon arriving, the scene he found was devastating, so much so that he dropped the teddy bear he was holding in his hand. Two figures lay on the ground, bathed in a pool of blood, barely clinging to life. A knot formed in Boruto's stomach as he saw Jiro and Yuki, severely injured and passed out.

With a mix of fear and fury, Boruto looked at the third person in the alley, who seemed to be responsible for that atrocity. Without wasting a second, he channeled all his chakra into his feet and, with a powerful leap, he launched himself towards the attacker. Imbuing his right arm with chakra, he punched him directly in the head, leaving him unconscious and lying on the ground.

Boruto, panting and with shaking hands, knelt next to his friends, feeling panic and despair beginning to take hold of him.

------ Getting a little closer to his friends, Boruto used the Mystic Palm Technique to try and heal them. Their wounds were too severe; all he could do was keep them stable so they wouldn't die. He knew that if he neglected them for a second or ran to get help, they would die. Jiro had glass shards embedded in his head, bleeding out, and Yuki had a broken bottle stuck in his abdomen.

"Boruto, so you've arrived… I wish you wouldn't see us in this state," Jiro said with pain in his voice.

"Boruto…" another voice murmured in a very weak state.

"Don't talk, stay conscious. I'll try to heal you as much as I can, then I'll get help," Boruto replied urgently.

"What happened?" Boruto wondered, desperate.

"The one behind you… is our father," Jiro said with a trembling voice.

Flashback : Jiro and Yuki walked home with smiles on their faces, talking about how wonderful the ceremony had been.

"When I become Hokage, I want my ceremony to be like this," Jiro said happily.

"Of course, brother, you will be the best Hokage in history," Yuki replied, also happy.

As they neared their house, they heard someone calling them by their names.

"Jiro, Yuki," said a drunk man, with a bottle in his left hand.

They stopped and said, "Father..."

When the man got close, he grabbed Yuki by the hair, pulling her into an alley as she screamed. Jiro tried to stop him, but his father pushed them both hard to the ground, smashing the bottle against Jiro's head.

"You think that will stop me, brat? I was in the Fourth Ninja War. I'm a survivor... Now you will die, and join your sister in hell."

With the broken bottle in her left hand, she lunged at Jiro, but Yuki stepped in the way, taking the blow to her abdomen. The pain sent her tumbling to the ground, pushing her brother back.

At that moment, Jiro felt helpless, unable to protect his sister, falling to the ground as well.

Back in the present , Boruto was paralyzed upon hearing what Jiro was telling him.

"Boruto… you have to become strong… stronger than anyone else, surpass everyone… These are my last words to you. I know you can do it. We are friends… and brothers. Stop healing me… take care of my sister… It's the last thing I can do for her." With those words, Jiro took Boruto's hand from his chest and placed it on Yuki's. A moment later, Jiro stopped breathing.

"JIROOO! BROTHERHOOD!" Boruto screamed, full of pain, while Yuki also cried inconsolably.

With tears streaming down his face, Boruto looked at Yuki, desperate to save her. He noticed something strange about her right eye: the sclera was black and the iris white, and it was beginning to weep blood.

"I can't let Yuki die... I can't," Boruto told himself, concentrating all his chakra on Yuki.

"I'm sorry, Boruto… I'm not like my brother. He's strong… I'm weak… I have hatred in my heart… I beg you, please… avenge us," Yuki murmured, tears streaming down her face.

"Don't say that, Yuki… you'll be fine… you'll get your revenge… I just need to heal you," Boruto insisted, not wanting to accept reality.

"I don't have much time left, Boruto… but still … I don't want to die… I haven't fulfilled my dream of becoming Konoha's greatest kunoichi yet," Yuki said, as she held Boruto's arm tightly. "Your right eye… is beautiful… it's like the night sky and the moon…" With those words, Yuki stopped breathing as well.

Although Boruto already knew what was going to happen, he saw it with his right eye. The bottle was stuck in Yuki's spine, grazing his lungs.

In desperation, Boruto screamed at the top of his lungs towards the sky, a heart-wrenching cry that echoed through the alley. After a few minutes, his crying and screaming died down, as something inside him shattered, as if glass had shattered.

With his sensor ability, Boruto sensed several people approaching. Without realizing it, his gaze turned towards them, seeing some ninjas approaching.

"This ability… is it the Byakugan? But it's different… I can see in color and through things," Boruto thought, lowering his head to see his reflection in a puddle of water. He saw that his right eye had a black sclera and a white iris. Surprised, he thought that perhaps it was an evolution of the Byakugan, like the Tenseigan his mother had told him about in stories.

He knew the ninjas were getting closer. He looked at Jiro and Yuki's father and grabbed him by the shirt, dragging him towards the abandoned factory he had seen with his eye. Before leaving, he picked up the stuffed animal he had bought for Yuki and took it with him.

"I'll leave him here for two or three days… then I'll come back… to KILL him." Boruto laughed a sinister, broken laugh, a sound that revealed the state his soul was in.

He arrived at the factory and quickly tied the man up with some chains he found, making sure he couldn't move. Using his sensor ability, Boruto sensed that the shinobi had arrived at the alley where his friends were, and with his right eye he could see the whole scene from a long distance away. There were five shinobi, who were carrying the bodies of their friends towards the hospital.

"I hope you enjoy these two or three days of life…" Boruto said, with a laugh that was no longer that of a child, but of someone completely broken. "It's time to go home," he said to himself, as he touched his right eye, trying to deactivate it. By cutting the connection with his chakra, the eye returned to normal. It's like the Sharingan I read about in books , he thought. He took out the kunai he had in his pocket and looked at his reflection in the blade, observing his face and the eye that had changed. He put the kunai away and began to walk towards his house, with a cold and emotionless expression, but with a dark smile on his face.

Boruto walked back to his house with a mix of dark emotions churning inside him. Despite his cold face and eerie smile, his heart was broken. Upon arriving, he opened the door and left his sandals at the entrance, trying not to make any noise. Hinata, who was in the living room with Himawari, heard him and approached.

"Boruto, you're here! How are you? What about your friends? Were you able to give them their presents?" Hinata asked with her typical warm smile.

Boruto, struggling to maintain his composure, nodded and replied calmly. "Yes, Mom. Everything went well. They're fine… very fine."

Hinata sighed in relief and patted her son's head. "I'm glad to hear that. It's late, go get some rest, okay?"

"Yes, mom. Good night." Boruto climbed the stairs slowly, feeling the weight of his lies, each step echoing in his mind. Upon reaching his room, he closed the door and let himself fall on the bed, unable to stop the tears from flowing again. But he couldn't afford to cry too much. He had to continue with his plan.

The next morning, Boruto came down to breakfast, wearing the same neutral expression he had perfected. The atmosphere in the house was normal, until the sound of someone knocking on the door interrupted the tranquility.

Naruto, who was in the kitchen, went to open the door. A shinobi from the village gave him the news he never wanted to hear. Naruto, with a look of deep pain, called Hinata, who froze upon receiving the news. They both approached Boruto, who was sitting at the table.

"Boruto…" Naruto began, his voice breaking, "I have some news to tell you. Jiro and Yuki… your friends… were… attacked last night. They didn't survive."

Boruto, with an impeccable performance, dropped the spoon he was holding, feigning surprise and pain. "What? No… It can't be… It can't be!" he screamed, while Hinata hugged him tightly, trying to comfort him.

Inside, Boruto felt empty, unable to process what he truly felt. The facade he had built protected him from the devastating reality, and his heart, though broken, was determined to keep his promise: to avenge his friends.

Two days have passed since Naruto and Hinata gave Boruto the terrible news of his friends' deaths. In that time, a wake was held for Jiro and Yuki, and they were buried in the Konoha cemetery. Boruto had not gone to visit them, as he felt that his revenge had not yet been fulfilled.

It was noon when Boruto, with a cold and emotionless look, walked slowly towards the factory. In his right hand he held a teddy bear and in his left hand a kunai. The passersby could only watch the blond pass by without daring to say anything to him, while he immersed himself in painful memories: chess with Jiro, games with Yuki, shared dreams, joint training, and the happy moments he lived with them.

Arriving at the factory entrance, Boruto raised his head, slowly opening the door. As he entered, he saw the man who had taken a part of him. The man was gagged and tied up, unable to move or speak.

Boruto dropped the teddy bear on the ground and slowly approached the man, bending down to uncover his mouth. Boruto's voice, cold and calculating, cut through the silence.

"Do you want to talk?" Boruto asked, as he uncovered the man's mouth.

"Let me go, you brat! What are you doing? What do you want to do?" the man replied in an indignant voice.

—Tell me, do you remember what you did? —Boruto asked, with a look of contempt.

"I don't know what you're talking about," the man replied disdainfully.

"You killed your children, you scum," Boruto replied coldly. "You were so drunk that you don't remember. You smashed a bottle over your son's head and the piece of bottle that was left in your hand you stabbed into your daughter's body."

The man, realizing the gravity of his situation, opened his eyes slightly and said:

—So what if I did? I don't care about those brats.

"I was friends with them," Boruto said, showing the kunai he had in his hand. "I want to kill you, but I'll do it in a different way. Let's play a game. Every time you lose, I'll do something very bad to you. Do you understand?"

"What are you talking about, brat? Why should I listen to you?" the man mocked.

Boruto, with a sinister expression, stabbed the kunai into one of the man's legs. The scream of pain was muffled by the gag. Boruto leaned towards him, looking directly into his eyes.

"Because you have no choice," he said in a dangerous voice, as his right eye changed to a more menacing appearance. Boruto smiled with a dangerous look.

The Game

The game Boruto proposed consisted of a simple but brutal challenge, repeated several times:

Mental Fortitude Challenge

Boruto would present the man with painful images and memories, attempting to provoke his despair. Every time the man failed to remain calm or showed signs of weakness, Boruto would punish him. The torture consisted of physical pain with the kunai: each mistake resulted in a deeper, more painful wound.

Boruto repeated this game over and over again, gradually increasing the intensity of the physical and mental torture with each mistake. The man, unable to bear the pain and despair, looked increasingly broken.

Each round of the game ended with Boruto applying the kunai more brutally, cutting and tearing the man's skin. The intensity of the physical and mental suffering increased with each failed attempt.

Boruto showed no mercy, and relished every moment of the torture, watching the man lose hope and will. Each failed challenge led to a crueler response from Boruto, ensuring the man understood the price of his evil.

Finally, after multiple rounds of torture, Boruto left the man in the factory, nearly unconscious. With an impassive face, Boruto said goodbye to his victim with one last sentence.

"I hope you enjoyed playing with me," Boruto said with a laugh that was not that of a child, but that of someone who had lost his humanity. "I hope that in hell you are tortured for eternity."

With a dark smile on his face and his body covered in the blood of his victim, Boruto walked out of the factory, knowing that he had fulfilled his revenge, but also aware that something inside him had changed forever. With a teddy bear that he picked up at the factory entrance and leaving the man's body lying there, he walked in one direction.

After a few minutes Boruto arrives at the Konoha cemetery and stands in front of his friends' graves, crouching down and leaving the kunai full of blood on Jiro's grave and the stuffed animal on Yuki's grave. It begins to rain and lightning strikes while Boruto's eye throws out a very sinister energy, you show Boruto's clothes, blood is falling from them and he says, "I have fulfilled my revenge and I promise to be the strongest being of all time no matter the price."

After leaving the cemetery, Boruto returned home, his mind plunged into a deep darkness. Despite the rain soaking his clothes, he didn't seem to notice it. Reaching the entrance, he opened the door with a coldness that contrasted with the warmth and light of the home that awaited him. His parents were in the living room, busy with daily chores, unaware of the torment their son had gone through.

Boruto walked to his room without saying a word. Every step he took echoed with an inhuman determination, as if he was determined to embrace his new self with all his might. Arriving at his room, he got rid of his blood-stained clothes and took a shower, but he couldn't wash away the trace of horror he felt inside him. His hands, still shaking, moved with an eerie precision, as if they were aware of the violence they had caused.

The scene of his revenge kept replaying in his mind, and the vision of that pleading man was etched into his memory. To protect his parents and himself from his own demons, Boruto began wearing gloves, just like Madara Uchiha. They were black leather gloves that covered his hands from the knuckles to the wrists, an almost ritualistic gesture to distance himself from the memory of the blood he had shed. Every time he put them on, he felt a mix of repulsion and comfort, as if he were covering up a link between his past and the present.

As the days went by, Boruto became a more reserved and enigmatic young man. His ever-present gloves became a symbol of his internal battle, of his promise to become the strongest being no matter the cost.

His parents noticed the change in him, but remained silent, worried but unsure of how to approach the situation. The loss of his friends and the fact that Boruto had taken someone's life had left scars on the young boy, marks that could not be erased with mere words.

Boruto spent hours in his room, training in secret. The hatred and sadness he felt drove him to become stronger, to hone his skills with an intensity that frightened those who knew him. His right eye, a mix of Byakugan and something darker, continued to glow with an eerie light, a constant reminder of what he had been through and what he was willing to do to reach his goal.

One night, while Boruto was deep in his training, he heard a soft voice behind him. It was Himawari, who had come over to hug him. The little girl, noticing the change in her brother, wrapped her small arms around him.

— Boruto, are you okay? —Himawari asked with concern and affection.

Boruto, surprised by the hug and by his sister's tenderness, felt a knot in his stomach. The warmth of the hug was a sharp contrast to the coldness of his own heart. In that moment, Boruto allowed his guard to fall for an instant, enveloping Himawari in a hug that, though brief, meant more than words could express.

— Thank you, Himawari —Boruto said softly, his voice filled with a mix of sadness and gratitude.

His sister's embrace was a small comfort amidst the storm raging inside him. Although Boruto knew the road to redemption and power would be long and painful, Himawari's love reminded him that there was still some light in his life, something to keep going for.

With each passing day, Boruto held on to that light and his promise to become the strongest being, no matter what he had to sacrifice to achieve it. His gloves, a symbol of his pain and determination, continued to cover his hands as he struggled to reconcile his past with his future.

Six years had passed. Boruto, now a young boy of eleven, left his house with determination. He said goodbye to his mother and Himawari before heading to the Ninja School, where he would begin a new stage in his life. His face showed a mixture of firmness and reflection, as he prepared to face the challenges that awaited him.
