It's been six years since that tragic accident that changed Boruto's life forever. Now, eleven years old, Boruto left his house with a firmness on his face that reflected both his premature maturity and his unwavering determination. He said goodbye to his mother and Himawari with a light smile, but in his mind he was already planning his next steps to become stronger.
During those six years, Boruto had not stopped training for a single day. Since his first year, his obsession had been to discover more about his mysterious Dōjutsu, while strengthening his body with intensive exercises. He remembered the stories his mother had told him about the Tenseigan and the Byakugan, and had realized that his eye had abilities that resembled the Sharingan: it could memorize details perfectly when activated. This ability led him to investigate further about the Sharingan and its capabilities.
Flashback: Boruto, then five years old, had spent weeks in his home's library, searching for information in any scroll or book he could find. His curiosity led him to discover that the Sharingan, in addition to memorizing things, could slow down the perception of time, foresee enemy movements, and create genjutsus. However, the amount of chakra required to use these abilities was considerable, and Boruto soon realized that his chakra reserve was insufficient.
—"The first thing I need to do is increase my chakra," Boruto said to himself one afternoon, while training in the backyard. "I need to train my body to the limit, every day."
That's how he began using weights and gravity seals to intensify his training. At first, he didn't know how to create these seals, but he remembered something that would give him a crucial advantage.
Flashback within flashback: —"There are many scrolls in Dad's room... I'm sure there's something that will help me learn." —Boruto thought with a mischievous smile.
One afternoon, when his father was at work and the house was quiet, Boruto walked up the stairs to Naruto's room. He carefully opened the door and, with his eyes wide open, began searching through the scrolls. After a thorough search, he found what he needed: a scroll that explained how to make Fūinjutsu seals.
"Even if Dad doesn't use them, I'll put them to good use," Boruto muttered as he copied the information onto an empty scroll he had brought with him.
He spent months practicing, trying different combinations of seals and adjusting the weight of the weights until his body got used to it. At first, he could barely move, but with perseverance, he began to take his first steps and control his chakra to maintain balance.
Back to the present: Boruto knew that this was not enough. He needed more advanced techniques to continue growing. He knew that he could learn the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone) and his father's Rasengan, but he had heard of even more powerful techniques that were sealed in the forbidden scroll, kept in a separate office in the Hokage tower.
—"If I could memorize that scroll with my eye, I could learn all those techniques without anyone noticing," Boruto thought, a bold idea forming in his mind.
The problem was how to access the scroll without arousing suspicion. The solution he came up with was simple but ingenious: he would trick his father, Naruto, into taking it to the Hokage tower.
That night, during dinner, Boruto decided to put his plan into action.
—"Dad," Boruto said in a casual tone while playing with his food, "could you take me to the Hokage tower one day? I'd like to see where you work."
Naruto, surprised by the request, looked at him curiously. For the past few years, Boruto had been rather distant, especially after the accident. He barely spoke to his parents, and it seemed like only his sister Himawari could get a smile out of him.
—"Sure, Boruto," Naruto replied, with a warm smile. "It would be great to spend some time together. It's been a while since we've done something like this."
—"Great!" —Boruto replied, hiding his real excitement behind a smile of apparent enthusiasm.
In the days that followed, Boruto continued his rigorous training. In the mornings, he trained his body and chakra control, running with weights and practicing his gravity seals. In the afternoons, he focused on improving his transformation technique to ensure that if he ever needed to, he could remain undetected. In the evenings, he carefully planned how to access the forbidden scroll and memorize its techniques without being discovered.
Finally, the day came when Naruto took him to the Hokage tower. Boruto observed every detail of the place, analyzing the movements of the guards and the layout of the offices.
Inside the Hokage tower: —"Dad, can I go to the bathroom?" —Boruto asked in an innocent tone.
—"Sure, Boruto. It's down that hallway," Naruto replied, pointing in the direction without suspecting anything.
Boruto walked towards the bathroom, but as soon as he turned the corner and made sure his father wasn't looking, he changed course. Using his transformation ability, he turned into a guard he had seen before. He walked confidently towards the office where he knew the forbidden scroll was kept. The guards at the entrance let him through without question.
Once inside, Boruto deactivated his transformation and searched for the scroll. He quickly found it and, with a mix of nervousness and excitement, activated his Dōjutsu. His eyes darted back and forth, memorizing every word and symbol on the forbidden scroll.
—"This is amazing..." —he muttered to himself as he continued to memorize the entire contents of the scroll.
After a few minutes, he was done. Boruto closed his eyes for a moment, making sure all the information was well recorded in his mind. Now, he had to act normal and leave the office without raising suspicion.
He transformed back into the guard and left the office. Once he was a safe distance away, he returned to the bathroom, transformed back into himself, and returned to Naruto.
—"Okay, Dad," Boruto said with a carefree smile. "We can continue."
Naruto didn't suspect anything. To him, Boruto had just been a curious kid who wanted to check out his workplace. But to Boruto, this was just the beginning of something much bigger.
That night, Boruto returned home with a mix of satisfaction and excitement. He knew he had taken a crucial step on his path to becoming stronger, and he was determined to continue his training with more fervor than ever.
After accompanying their father all day, Boruto and Naruto returned home. There, Hinata was waiting for them with a warm smile.
"Hello, mother," Boruto greeted, smiling a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"Hey, sweetie," Hinata replied, hugging him briefly before turning her attention to Naruto. "Hey, Naruto. How did it go?"
"It was a good day," Naruto said, trying to catch Boruto's attention as he began to climb the stairs to his room. "Thanks for taking me, Dad," Boruto said with a smile that at first glance seemed genuine, but was actually a reflection of his ability to hide his true feelings.
"Food will be ready in a moment," Hinata announced fondly, but Boruto quickly replied:
—I'm tired, Mom. I'll go up and rest.
Arriving at his room, Boruto closed the door and his expression immediately changed. His face turned serious, with an air of determination as he performed a hand sign with his left hand. A puff of smoke appeared, revealing a scroll the same size as the forbidden scroll. With meticulous precision, Boruto began to copy down everything he had memorized. He used a special brush and ink to transcribe the jutsus and techniques in detail, making sure that every symbol and stroke was perfect.
— "Now, the real challenge is to make sure that no one can find out what I've learned," Boruto muttered as he finished copying the contents. With a final wave of his hands, the original scroll disappeared in a smokescreen, hidden away. The Fūinjutsu seals on his wrists were hidden under the sleeves of his shirt and couldn't be seen, hidden under his gloves as well. These seals were his insurance to protect the information.
In his mind, Boruto planned every detail with precision:
—I do this to ensure that no one can erase my memory or discover what I have learned. Stored in my wrists, the knowledge will be safe. Tomorrow, a new stage in my training will begin. Starting tomorrow, I will train every morning, with the seals and weights activated all day. My goal is to master the shadow clone techniques, the Rasengan, and my grandfather's Hiraishin no Jutsu before I turn 7. At 8, I will learn to manipulate weapons and perfect the best fighting style in existence, that of Madara Uchiha. And even more, I will improve control over my right eye. There is no time to waste.
With these decisions in mind, Boruto laid back on his bed, his mind filled with anticipation for what was to come.
First Year: Mastering Stamina and Chakra
The next day, Boruto woke up early, ready to start his rigorous training. He headed to the forest, a secluded place where no one would bother him. He placed weights on his ankles and wrists, activated the gravity seals, and began basic exercises: running, jumping, and climbing trees without using his hands, all while trying to keep his chakra under control so that the weights wouldn't crush him.
Every day he repeated these exercises, increasing the duration and intensity. As the weeks passed, Boruto felt his body getting stronger, his stamina increasing, and his chakra control improving noticeably. The first few months were tough; every movement felt like a titanic challenge, but he didn't give in. Over time, his body began to adapt.
—If I want to use the techniques I memorized , I first need to have perfect control over my chakra. I don't care how long it takes, I have to get stronger —he told himself as he trained.
Second Year: Shadow Clone Techniques and Rasengan
With his improved stamina and chakra control, Boruto moved on to the next level: learning the shadow clone techniques and the Rasengan. He knew that these techniques required a large amount of chakra and precise control.
In the morning, he focused on the Rasengan. He started with the basics, creating a spinning sphere of chakra in the palm of his hand. At first, he constantly failed. His chakra would disperse, and the sphere would explode before it was fully formed. But Boruto didn't give up. Day after day, he repeated the process, seeking to perfect each move.
—Come on, Boruto, give him the chakra evenly. Imagine the chakra flowing like a controlled stream. Don't let it escape —he told himself as he struggled to maintain the Rasengan's form.
In the afternoon, he practiced the shadow clone technique. He knew this jutsu could quickly exhaust him if he wasn't careful, so he started by creating a single clone, observing how it behaved, how it distributed its chakra between them. He slowly increased the number of clones, perfecting the technique until he could create several effortlessly.
—With this, I'll be able to multiply my training efforts. I can practice several techniques at once, learning faster than anyone else — thought Boruto, satisfied with his progress.
Third Year: Learning the Hiraishin no Jutsu and Advanced Chakra Control
The third year was spent learning the Hiraishin no Jutsu, his grandfather's teleportation technique. He knew that this technique was complex, not only because it required a deep knowledge of Fūinjutsu, but also because it needed extremely precise chakra control.
It took months of intensive practice for Boruto to perfect his teleportation technique using special seals he had meticulously prepared. Initially, he only managed to teleport parts of his body, half-appearing in the desired location. However, with time and constant practice, he began to master the technique with greater precision.
To further improve his accuracy and mobility, Boruto decided to commission a three-pronged kunai to be made. Using his skill in Fūinjutsu, he modified the kunai by applying teleportation seals to it. This special kunai became a very useful marker for his technique, facilitating teleportation and allowing him to accurately reach the desired point.
To obtain the three-pronged kunai, Boruto used Transformation Jutsus and went to a specialized shop, where he had the kunai made with the necessary modifications. Thanks to this kunai loaded with Fūinjutsu, his ability to teleport improved significantly, achieving exceptional mobility and precision.
"If I can master this technique, I'll be unstoppable. No one will be able to catch up to me or stop me," Boruto said to himself, growing more and more excited with the results.
Meanwhile, he also honed his advanced chakra control, learning to mold it into different shapes and techniques. He practiced creating barriers, reinforcements, and other complex applications, always with the idea of expanding his arsenal of skills.
Fourth and Fifth Year: Mastering Madara Uchiha's Fighting Style
With a solid foundation in his skills, Boruto decided it was time to learn the fighting style that would allow him to achieve the power he desired: that of Madara Uchiha. He knew that this style was not only powerful, but also lethal in the hands of someone who could control it perfectly. Boruto did not look up to Madara; he simply sought to master his fighting style in order to acquire the strength he craved.
He began studying advanced taijutsu moves , combining them with the use of weapons. He practiced with katanas , chains, shuriken, and kunai, learning to wield each with skill. In addition, he studied Madara's hand-to-hand combat techniques, perfecting each strike, each block, until he felt as if he were channeling the same energy as the legendary Uchiha.
—It's not enough to be strong, I need to be precise, calculating. Every movement must be perfect, every attack must be lethal — thought Boruto while repeating his training until he was exhausted.
During these two years, Boruto also made sure that his right eye was in tune with his body. Although he didn't fully understand its potential yet, he knew that it could be his trump card. He practiced activating and deactivating it, trying to better understand its abilities.
Sixth Year: Refining and Perfecting Skills
In his sixth year of training, Boruto focused on refining everything he had learned. He practiced his techniques to exhaustion, making sure that every movement was natural, almost instinctive. His fighting style became a unique blend of brutal and elegant taijutsu , combined with an impressive mastery of ninjutsu and Fūinjutsu.
"I've come a long way since that day. But this is just the beginning," Boruto told himself, remembering the moment he decided to change his life. Now, with his skills sharpened and his mind clearer than ever, he was ready to face any challenge that came his way.
His training had culminated in a formidable combat style, a cold and calculating mind, and a strength that would only continue to grow. Boruto had discovered his chakra natures in a surprising way: he had acquired a special role that, when worn, revealed his skill in each of the chakra natures. This role showed that Boruto not only mastered Katon (Fire), Doton (Earth), Suiton (Water), and Raiton (Lightning), but was also able to manipulate each with unusual prowess. With control over his abilities and mastery of advanced techniques such as Katon: Endan no Jutsu (Great Fireball), Doton: Gaeshi no Jutsu (Great Fireball), and Doton: Gaeshi no Jutsu (Great Fireball), Boruto was able to use his skills to manipulate the chakra natures. Doroku (Earth Shield), Suiton: Sudanha ( Water Decapitating Wave ), and Raiton : Shiden (Light Arrow), Boruto was prepared to face any obstacle in his path.
The ninja academy begins,
Boruto, leaving his house, headed to the academy with a distinctive appearance. His black sweatshirt, adorned with vibrant red lines on the sides, stood out with its modern and bold cut. The jacket, open at the front, revealed a crisp white shirt that added a touch of stylish contrast. He completed his outfit with black leather gloves, which accentuated his style, and black sandals that extended to just above his ankles, displaying a mix of comfort and sophistication with an expression on his face that showed no emotions.
Note: Boruto's clothes are from when he is a genin and red lines instead of pink ones and gloves hehe end of note.
--- Boruto ran at full speed before stopping in a dark alley. Without stopping for too long, he made a sign with his hands and said in a low voice:
Name of the Jutsu: Kanpeki Bunshin no Jutsu (Jutsu: Perfect Clone)
In a puff of smoke, a clone identical to him appeared. Boruto looked at him coldly and gave clear instructions:
"Take off your gloves and change into sandals and jacket. You know what to do."
The clone nodded without saying a word and quickly began changing his clothes. Once ready, the clone ran off towards the Academy,
This clone, although it only possesses 30 percent of my power, is more than enough to fool most. It can withstand serious injuries much better than a normal shadow clone, although it is a bit clumsier. — Boruto gave a mischievous smile as he observed his work. — Well, let's continue.
Boruto began walking with determination, his smile not fading as he walked away in the opposite direction. His destination was an abandoned factory, a place he had carefully chosen as his secret hideout. Each step echoed in the silence, marking the path to his future plans.
Upon arriving, Boruto found himself in front of a huge door, with a smaller one in the middle. He pushed the door open with effort and entered. At the back of the factory, he saw some scattered bones, partially broken, along with worn-out clothing. Walking slowly towards the remains, Boruto muttered to himself:
"To think that they wouldn't find you in all this time... you didn't even have a family to look for you. How miserable... Nobody loves you."
He got close enough to the bones, and with a cold, emotionless gaze, he made a seal with his hands and uttered:
"Katon: Hōin no Jutsu (Fire Release: Hand of Fire)".
An intense flame appeared in his hand, which he threw towards the bones, disintegrating them instantly. Boruto watched with an indifferent expression as they burned.
"This is a technique of my own creation. It's interesting, don't you think, trash? Hehehe. I have more techniques of my own creation, but I won't reveal them to you yet. I'll save them for when I face real enemies."
He stopped laughing and looked around the factory with disdain.
"This place isn't welcoming at all. I'll have to make some modifications to make sure no one finds it. I need to trick Konoha's barrier so my chakra won't be detected. If I disappear, my clone's chakra must activate or cause a huge distraction. Let's see what that clone I sent is up to... Hehehe, thanks to my grandfather's Hiraishin, I can maintain a special connection."
Boruto closed his eyes and, with a small smile on his face, performed a series of complex hand signs at high speed. He placed his hand on the ground, and a series of symbols spread throughout the factory.
"Fūinjutsu: Genjutsu no Sekai (Sealing Art: Escape from Reality)," Boruto said in a firm voice. "This way, no one will be able to find me. Or rather, they'll only find my clone impersonating me. Hahahaha . This place will be my new training ground. I need to do some remodeling… Let's get started."
Before Boruto reached the factory, his clone, now disguised, began to jump in the direction of the Academy. Upon reaching some train tracks, Boruto's clone decided to wait for a train to get there faster. On the ground nearby, he saw Denki, another boy who was also waiting.
"Ah, Denki. It'll be nice to make friends to keep up appearances," the clone muttered to himself. "After all, I did give him some good advice a while back."
Flashback
A few days ago, Boruto was seen running at full speed, with Shikadai trying to catch up with him. Both of them had an amused expression as they discussed the next new-flavored burger they were going to try. During that time, Shikadai remembered the day they first met...
His father, Shikamaru, had taken him to the Hokage's house.
"Why are we here?" Shikadai asked with disinterest.
"It's for you to make a friend," Shikamaru replied.
"A friend... What a pain," Shikadai muttered.
"He'll be friends with the Hokage's son, Boruto. I think you already know him."
"I see. But he's still a pain. Why do you want me to be his friend?"
"Because Hinata asked me to. Her son has been very distant since an accident he suffered."
"An accident? Aren't you going to tell me anything else?"
"I can't. It's something personal to the boy," Shikamaru replied.
Arriving at the door, Shikamaru rang the bell and was greeted by Hinata, who smiled at seeing them.
"Please continue. You must be Shikadai, right?" Hinata said kindly.
"Hello, Lady Hinata," Shikadai replied with a bow.
"Boruto is in his room. Go up and talk to him. I hope you two become great friends," Hinata said.
Shikadai walked up the stairs and knocked on Boruto's door. From inside, a voice answered:
"Who is it?"
"My name is Shikadai. I'd like to talk to you. May I come in?"
"Come in," Boruto said, allowing Shikadai to push the door open.
As he walked in, he saw Boruto sitting in a chair, looking at some books on his desk.
"I'd like to be your friend," Shikadai said.
"Friend, huh? I haven't heard that word in a long time... Okay, I'll be your friend. But first, we need to get to know each other better. Do you want to go for a walk?"
Shikadai nodded, and the two of them walked down the stairs. As they passed the living room, Hinata watched them with a smile.
"They get along... That makes me happy," Hinata thought.
"I'm leaving now, Mom. I'll be back later," Boruto said.
"Take care, guys," Hinata said goodbye.
Leaving the house, Boruto and Shikadai walked and talked about their favorite things.
At that moment, in the forest of Konoha, a shadowy figure slowly opened his eyes. They were deep blue.
"Really...? Tsk ," he clicked his tongue. "I had to stop my training because of this... I can't stand it. Well, I'll let my clone take over for me as long as it takes."
Coming out of the shadows, Boruto, jacketless and wearing gloves, appeared.
"Time to move on," he muttered before disappearing in a flash of yellow.
He reappeared somewhere else, in the air, throwing shurikens and three-pointed kunais with great speed, hitting all targets. He disappeared and reappeared somewhere else, where he picked up a katana stuck in the ground. He made a hand seal and said:
" Kage " Bunshin no Jutsu" (Shadow Clone Technique).
Several clones appeared around, and Boruto made another hand seal.
"Hiraishin: Eikyō Fūin " (Hiraishin: Area Seals).
He threw a kunai into the air, which multiplied into several kunais while Boruto moved at full speed, fighting with his clones in yellow flashes.
Back to where Boruto and Shikadai were running, they came to a shop and ordered the new burger that was on sale. As they waited, Shikadai looked at Boruto curiously, noticing the apparent calm on his face, but the underlying tension in his eyes.
"How much do you think, Boruto?" Shikadai asked.
Boruto, with a carefree smile, replied, "Nothing in particular, just wondering what the new burger will be like. They say it's the best one yet."
"You're always thinking about food," Shikadai commented, trying to read past his friend's words.
When they finally got the burger, they began to slowly walk towards one of the tracks where a train was passing by. Boruto, always full of energy, suggested getting on the moving train. Shikadai, although more reserved, followed along, laughing a little at the craziness of the situation.
As the train moved forward, they reached the top of a ravine from where they could see all of Konoha spread out before them. They sat down, enjoying the view while eating their burger.
Shikadai, after a moment of silence, spoke seriously: "You should talk to your mother more. She is worried about you."
Boruto glanced at him, still chewing. "Why do you say that, Shikadai?"
"It's obvious that something is bothering you. I don't know what happened in the past, but I know it's not your family's fault. Your mom asked me to be your friend, and I don't regret that decision, but I think you should open up to them more."
Boruto fell silent, finishing his burger as he thought about Shikadai's words. He looked towards the horizon, the sun beginning to descend, painting the sky in shades of orange and red.
"My mom has always been like this, worrying too much," Boruto finally said. "But... my dad is always working. He doesn't have time for us, so don't ask me to talk to him, Shikadai. It's useless."
Shikadai nodded slowly, understanding Boruto's frustration. "I'm just telling you to think about it. Sometimes, things aren't as they seem."
Boruto gave a melancholic smile, although in his mind there remained the shadow of the thoughts that had plagued him since the accident years ago.
As he got off the train, Shikadai shouted at him while holding onto a pole, "Don't be late for the academy opening, Boruto!"
Boruto waved his hand in farewell as he walked away towards his destination. "See you later, Shikadai."
As Boruto walked alone through the forest, Shikadai's words echoed in his mind. Despite his indomitable spirit and carefree facade, he felt a slight pressure building up inside him. He knew that the next time he faced his family, something inside him would have changed. However, being a clone, he knew that all of this information would reach the real Boruto later on.
With a crooked smile and an air of resignation, the clone muttered to himself, "I guess there's not much to do for now... but when all this reaches the real one, I wonder what he'll do with these feelings."
The clone continued on his way, knowing that although he was only a replica, he had a crucial role in Boruto's life.
As Boruto walked home, his thoughts were interrupted by some noises coming from a nearby alley. Sneaking closer, he saw a group of older boys pushing a terrified-looking child, demanding money from him. The scene reminded him of what he himself had experienced in the past, and without a second thought, he decided to intervene.
"Hey!" Boruto shouted, his voice firm and full of determination. "Why don't you guys pick on someone your own size?"
The thugs turned around, surprised by the interruption. Boruto gave them no time to react; in an instant, he launched himself at them, using his agility to quickly disarm them. With a couple of well-calculated moves, he forced them back.
"Get out before things get really ugly!" he warned them, cracking his knuckles to intimidate them.
The attackers, visibly frightened, fled the scene without saying another word. Boruto approached the boy they had been harassing, who was still shaking in fear.
"Are you okay?" Boruto asked, his tone softer.
—Y-yes... thanks for helping me —the boy replied, still trying to catch his breath.
Boruto watched him for a moment before asking:
-What is your name?
"I'm Denki... Denki Kaminarimon, " the boy replied, still with a mix of nervousness and relief.
—Denki, huh? —Boruto smiled lightly—. What were you doing here alone?
Denki looked down, hesitating before answering:
"I was… trying to work up the courage to talk to my father. He… wants me to continue the family business, but I…" he paused, clearly overwhelmed by his thoughts. "I want to become a ninja."
Boruto looked at him seriously for a moment before speaking:
—So why don't you tell him? If that's what you really want, you have to fight for it. Don't let anyone decide your path.
—But... my father is very strict. I don't know if he'll listen to me —Denki said, still hesitant.
Boruto moved a little closer, placing a hand on his shoulder.
—Look, Denki. Life isn't always easy, and sometimes the people we love the most don't understand what we want. But if you don't fight for your dreams, no one will do it for you. Talk to your father, tell him how you feel, and if he doesn't listen to you... then find a way to show him that you can do it.
Denki nodded slowly, absorbing Boruto's words.
—Thank you, Boruto. I'll try to talk to him.
"No problem," Boruto replied with a smile.
Denki smiled in gratitude, and after saying goodbye, Boruto continued on his way, feeling like he had made a difference in the boy's life.
—Hehehe, but well, if it were the original Boruto, he wouldn't even have taken the time to help.
—Boruto thought, with a wry smile on his face.
Back in the present, Boruto can be seen on a post looking at Denki at some point.
"Eeee , what's going on? Why has my right eye activated? I can't control it, what's going on?" Boruto wondered as he covered his eye with his hand. But before covering it, he noticed that Denki had a dark and strange colored chakra. Realizing this, he closed his eye tightly, deactivating it. When he opened it again, he looked down and didn't see Denki.
Boruto, sharpening his senses with his sensor ability, sensed Denki and three more chakrams running nearby. He decided to investigate what was going on and went to them, asking twelve questions about what could be happening.
At the station, three boys no older than 12 were looking for Denki. One of them found a banknote lying on the ground and picked it up, pointing to a trail of banknotes leading to the entrance of a train. The three of them ventured to follow the trail and entered the train, which was about to depart.
Denki appeared behind them with a cold and determined look. Meanwhile, from the roof of the train, Boruto, who had climbed in unnoticed, was observing the situation with a mischievous smile.
— They finally arrived! — Denki exclaimed with a dry laugh.
One of the boys, trembling with fear, asked:
— What are you planning, Denki? Do you want us to beat you up?
Denki, without answering, approached the group as the train began to move at an alarming speed. Just as the train began to accelerate towards an imminent collision, the roof of the train broke and Boruto, sliding through the gap, fell to the floor of the train.
— What the hell is going on here?! — Boruto shouted as he landed with a perfectly executed stunt.
The children looked at Boruto with eyes full of surprise and fear.
— Look, Denki! The train is about to crash into the main line! — Boruto warned as he approached the group. — And it seems you're having a party here without inviting me. How rude.
Denki, with a lost look, said:
— This train is a relic. It's going to crash later. But I don't care. I'm here to show my father that I'm strong, even if I have to take out these clowns.
Boruto laughed contemptuously:
— Seriously, Denki? You think killing some idiots is going to prove anything to your old man? Please! — Boruto said with a mocking smile. — Don't you realize that this only makes you look weaker? You're going crazy, man.
—What do you know? —Denki asked, annoyed.
— I know your old man beat you up because he cares about you. If you want to prove that you're strong, it's not by killing your comrades that you're going to do it. It's by facing your fears and being brave. Do you really think that going around scaring people is going to change anything? — Boruto replied, grimacing.
Denki, unable to contradict Boruto, remained silent as Boruto walked up to him and patted him on the back. The dark energy surrounding Denki dissipated, and Boruto watched as Denki's eyes came back to life.
— Wow, it seems like the dark chakra was just anger. I wonder whose chakra this is? — Boruto thought as he looked at Denki.
Denki, still in shock, asked:
— But Boruto, we've already crossed the lane to change direction. What are we going to do now?
— Don't worry, Denki. We just need to increase speed and change lanes to get ahead of the main line train — Boruto replied confidently.
Boruto headed to the driver's cabin and began to increase speed. Then, he climbed onto the roof of the train and took a handstand, he shouted:
— Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! — and from a puff of smoke, four shadow clones appeared.
Boruto waited for the right moment and, with the help of his clones, formed a sort of human ladder. The clones supported each other while Boruto used the speed of the train to perform a change of direction, causing the train to deviate from its course. The clones flew through the air, and Boruto jumped back inside the train.
— Okay, we've changed lanes. Now, get to the other car before this train crashes — Boruto ordered, pointing at the three people.
One of them, frightened, shouted:
— Come on, jump! — stretching out his hand towards the others.
Denki looked at Boruto and said:
— We can't do that. We have to go to a specific place, don't we?
— Exactly. But before that, let me tell you something — Boruto looked at him with a mocking smile. — I thought you were smarter, Denki. Doing this won't make you stronger, it will only get you into more trouble.
Denki nodded and commented:
— Hehehe, you're really funny, Denki. — Boruto headed to the driver's cabin and began changing the direction of the train, derailing it before it was too late.
A few minutes earlier, at the Ninja Academy, the teachers and managers were calling out names:
— Sarada Uchiha, present. — Sarada said.
— Chocho Akimichi, present. — Chocho said.
— Sumire Kakei, present. — Sumire said.
— Shikadai Nara, present. —Shikadai said.
— Boruto Uzumaki... — no response was heard.
— Where is Boruto? — Shikadai asked with a yawn. — I came too, where is he?
High on the mountain, a train car flew out and ran over everyone in the academy, crashing into the stone-carved face of the Seventh Hokage. With a loud bang, the train car crashed into the faces of the Seventh Hokage. Kages. On the roof of the car, Boruto showed himself with his chakra shining and activated while laughing loudly.
At the abandoned factory, where the real Boruto was, he laughed maliciously as he watched the scene:
—Hahaha! This is so cool! Look how the Seventh Hokage's face turned out! Oh wait, it seems you no longer have an eye to see how it turned out. Hahaha!
From the Kages' faces, Konohamaru, in his chunin uniform and blue bandana, appeared behind Boruto and tried to catch him. Boruto, with surprising agility, jumped and launched a spinning kick that was countered by Konohamaru. Both exchanged quick blows and Konohamaru, grabbing Boruto's arm, turned him around and immobilized him.
— Kanohamaru-nichan ! — Boruto exclaimed with amusement.
— Call me sensei, Boruto. How could you do this? You're not like that — Konohamaru said seriously as he held Boruto immobilized.
— Oh, come on, sensei. One thing leads to another, and here we are. Hahaha! — Boruto laughed , enjoying the chaos.
— Don't laugh, this is serious! — Konohamaru reprimanded, standing his ground.
From one of the carriage windows, Denki spoke in a weak voice:
— Boruto, are you okay?
— Denki? Wow, I didn't expect you here! — Boruto replied with amusement. — What happened? Did they hurt you?
— I'm fine, Boruto — Denki replied, trying to sound stronger than he felt.
— I see, I see — Boruto laughed . — Well, I guess I did a good job then.
Konohamaru, still holding Boruto, said to him:
— Boruto, come here. The Hokage wants to talk to you.
While Boruto was in front of his father, he was scolded and suspended for two weeks. Naruto, with a serious expression, said to Boruto:
— This is not a game. You have to understand the gravity of your actions.
Boruto, with a mischievous smile, replied:
— I understand, Dad. I promise it will be even more fun next time!
Later, at the Hokage tower, Naruto was at his desk, going over some papers when Shikamaru entered the office, his usual lazy expression barely hiding his concern.
—It seems that what happened was your partner's fault —Shikamaru commented, dropping a report on the desk—. The reckless driving of the train, crashing into the faces of the Kages… apparently, Boruto was covering for his friend.
Naruto looked up from the report, pondering Shikamaru's words.
"Don't you think so?" Shikamaru continued. "Instead of failing him, we should be thanking him. Boruto acted quickly and saved his friend from greater danger. What he did was reckless, yes, but also brave."
Naruto nodded slowly, acknowledging the truth in his advisor's words. Although Boruto's action was risky, he couldn't ignore that he had saved Denki from a dangerous situation.
"I know, Shikamaru," Naruto finally replied. "I appreciate that Boruto helped his friend, but we also need him to understand the consequences of his actions. There is a lesson to be learned here."
Shikamaru sighed, knowing that Naruto was right, but at the same time feeling the weight of the responsibilities that fell on Boruto.
Boruto walked towards his house, feeling the weight of his thoughts when he came across his clone, who was leaning against a nearby wall, waiting for him.
"Good job," said the real Boruto as he reached her side.
"Everything is fine," the clone replied, his expression calm. "After all, it's time for me to disappear. But first, what do you plan to do about what Shikadai said the day you met Denki?"
—Well, the first thing is that we were suspended from the academy for two weeks —the clone added, with a touch of irony in his voice.
"Two weeks without going to the ninja academy?" Boruto repeated, surprised.
"I thought you'd seen it before," the clone replied, arching an eyebrow.
"Hahaha, I didn't get to see everything they told you," Boruto let out a mirthless laugh, "but it's not like it matters. Besides, I don't think mom will tell me anything in these two weeks. Though what you sent about what Shikadai said and the day I met Denki… mmm , that's annoying. After all, what could I talk to my family about? That everything will be okay? That there will be a better time? That only time heals everything? That I'll have new friends? What disgusting words! That's why I don't talk to them, they would just say that."
"Why don't you try talking to them more?" the clone suggested.
—With our father, it's impossible. Ever since he became Hokage, he's hardly ever home. He didn't even show up for our birthday. I just hope he doesn't screw up Himawari's birthday... I hope he keeps his promise like the man he claims to be. But if he breaks it... —Boruto smiled maliciously—, I'll make him remember me for life.
—And with Mom? —the clone insisted—. Will you talk to her more?
—Yes, she must be lonely after all —Boruto admitted—. It's time for you to disappear. Let's go.
The clone nodded and vanished in a puff of smoke. Boruto closed his eyes and opened them again, taking in the information and experiences of the day the clone had had. " Something activated my eye… a chakra of malice, similar to a summoning. Mmm … it seems like this will be fun," he muttered to himself, cracking a smile as he headed home.
Upon arrival, Boruto found his mother, Hinata, in the kitchen, preparing dinner.
"Hi, Mom," he greeted her, in a softer tone than usual.
"Boruto, I'm glad you're here on time," Hinata replied, smiling. "I was just making your favorite meal. How was your day?"
—Well... well, at least it wasn't a bad day —Boruto said, shrugging.
Hinata noticed a strange gleam in her son's eyes, but decided not to insist.
"I'm glad to hear that," she replied tenderly. "Why don't you stay here with me for a while while I finish cooking?"
"Sure," Boruto said, surprising himself at how natural he sounded.
They spent the afternoon together, talking about trivial things and sharing moments that, although simple, filled the home with warmth. Himawari, sitting in a corner, watched her mother and brother with a sweet smile, feeling the love and unity that surrounded them.
Two weeks have passed and a clone of Boruto can be seen slowly walking towards the academy. On the way, he meets Denki, who was leaning against a wall.
—Mm, Denki, what are you doing here? —Boruto asked.
"I was waiting for you," Denki replied.
"I see," Boruto said, starting to walk in front of Denki.
Arriving at the entrance of the academy, Boruto thought to himself, "This is where it's going to get fun," as he continued walking inside. As he opened the classroom door, the conversations ceased and all eyes turned to him.
—Where do I sit, Denki? —Boruto asked.
"You can choose any place," Denki replied.
Boruto started walking, and Shikadai called out to him from his seat, raising his hand.
—Boruto, sit here.
Boruto sat down next to Shikadai. Murmurs began to spread throughout the classroom.
—Didn't they expel him for what he did?
—That's the good thing about having connections, don't you think? They always forgive him for everything — whispered comments could be heard.
—Don't let it get to you, Boruto —Shikadai said.
—As if it affects me... I'm fine, Shikadai —Boruto replied, showing indifference.
"Boruto always attracts a lot of attention," commented the class representative, a girl with purple hair and eyes.
—Well, he caused quite a ruckus on the day he entered the academy, —Chōchō added . —Sarada, you two are friends, right?
"Our parents are friends, not us," Sarada replied coldly.
"So, you're childhood friends?" Chōchō said , amused.
—We never talked much, Boruto was always distant and strange back then.
"Why do you say that?" asked Chōchō .
—His eyes were emotionless when we were kids, but now that I see him, his eyes are alive... it's strange —Sarada mused.
— Mmm , I see —Chōchō murmured .
From the back of the classroom, a voice interrupted:
—So the Hokage helped you.
"Inojin-kun!" the class representative said, alarmed.
—Oh, I said it out loud —Inojin walked down the stairs, approaching Boruto. He had light blonde hair and green eyes.
"Really, Inojin?" Shikadai said, annoyed.
—Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, Boruto. But well, we all have reasons to think that way, after all, they didn't do anything to you for what you did —said Inojin with some caution.
"You know that's not how it happened," Shikadai interjected.
—Boruto, it's been a while —Inojin said.
"Inojin, it's been a while, hello," Boruto replied, extending his hand in greeting.
"Why are you looking for trouble, Inojin?" Shikadai asked.
"I don't want to fight," Inojin replied, slapping Boruto's hand away. "I just want to make friends. But I don't trust you, Boruto."
—Since that's what you want... —Boruto thought.
—It's not like I care about your trust anyway, he replied coldly.
The atmosphere in the classroom became tense, and the pressure between the two of them could be felt. At that moment, the sensei entered the room.
"Everyone stand up," said Sumire, the class representative.
___ After school, during lunch time, Boruto walked to the classroom with Shikadai and Denki by his side, after practice.
"Let's go get lunch, I have money in my backpack," Boruto said calmly.
Three people rushed out of the hall right next to Boruto, saying:
—You guys should hurry up and get out too!
"What's wrong with them?" Boruto asked curiously.
"So you're the Hokage's son," a voice came from the back of the room. A student slowly stood up, jumped, and appeared in front of Boruto.
— Aaa , more problems. The world won't leave me alone — Boruto muttered lazily.
"It's a pain to see people like you every day," the student said, grabbing Boruto's shirt.
As this was happening, a door opened at the back of the classroom, allowing more students to enter.
—Before you grab my shirt, who are you? —Boruto asked.
"Boruto, this is Iwabe," Denki informed.
— Mmm , so he's Iwabe, the best in the physical test — Boruto commented disdainfully.
"Don't ignore me, trash," Iwabe said, pushing Boruto against the teacher's desk and causing them to collide.
Denki stood between Boruto and Iwabe. Boruto was on the ground
"Iwabe, this isn't right," Denki said, trying to calm the situation.
"Get out of the way, trash. You're weak, a weakling," Iwabe replied, pushing Denki and making him fall to the ground next to Boruto, who got up with difficulty.
—You talk about him being weak, but from what I see, you're not strong —Boruto laughed with amusement.
—Haha, fine. Let's fight and see how strong you are. After all, this generation is full of trash playing at being ninjas —Iwabe challenged, challenging Boruto.
-- The scene shifted to the training and combat area. The entire class was in the stands, watching expectantly as Boruto and Iwabe prepared for the fight in the center of the field.
"To make it fair, I won't use my staff," Iwabe said, showing a respectful nod. "It will be a fight without breaking the rules."
"As you wish," Boruto replied nonchalantly.
After staring at each other for a few seconds, both began to run towards their opponent. Boruto, with impressive speed, appeared in front of Iwabe and grabbed him by the head, slamming him into the ground with a loud impact that echoed across the field, raising a curtain of smoke.
The classmates in the stands were shocked. When the dust cleared, instead of Iwabe, there was a log on the ground.
"A replacement, huh? Coward..." Boruto commented in amusement, as he sensed the presence of chakra in one of the nearby columns.
With another flash of speed, Boruto appeared in front of the pillar, delivering a powerful kick that shook the area with another boom. Iwabe was sent flying, screaming aaaaa as he fell heavily to the ground.
"What's wrong, Iwabe? Is that all you have?" Boruto asked with a smirk. "You can't even keep up with my speed."
Iwabe slowly stood up, in great pain, while holding his stomach. "Damn it... how can you be so fast? How can you be so strong?"
"You're the weak one here, Iwabe," Boruto said, his gaze cold. "You run away from your problems, you're incapable of learning and studying. That's why you can't be a genin. Look at you, you're so incompetent that you can't pass a simple written exam. But you know what? I don't dislike you. Because at least you strive to be strong. But the fact that you can't pass an exam makes you pathetic. So when you're able to pass that exam, find me. We'll fight for a good reason."
Iwabe tried to respond, but he could barely get his words out before falling unconscious to the ground. "You talk as if... I've already lost ..."
"Looks like it's over," Boruto said, turning around and starting to walk back to the classroom.
His teammates, still in the stands, were impressed by the strength Boruto had shown in combat.
