After the girl gave us the guard uniform we were on the move, Taylor put the guard uniform on and we started sneaking around the place trying to get to my friend's which where all on the ground floor.
Once we were there and found the room that all of them were in she knocked on the door as I hid outside just in case the old map we had was wrong. The door opened and a yes officer was heard
"student 5999 are students 6815 and 6174 present"
"yes?"
I heard the voice answer, at this point I knew it was Sebastian but I stayed hidden just in case there was another guard inside because Taylor had not broken character.
"Come with me you three are suspects" she pulled Sebastian out of the door, Mae and Kailey followed shortly behind, at this point all three of them had seen me and stayed quiet so I was sure another guard or another student was inside.
Taylor put me in front and lined the other three up behind me.
"Listen to me we are escaping you are to pretend this gun is loaded, we are going to go behind the interrogation building follow Tiah she knows what to do I will explain more when we are out" we marched through the middle of the city no questions asked a few people nodded at Taylor but that was it, we must have a lot worse of a reputation than I thought nobody even gave us a second glance.
Once we were behind the interrogation building I broke off the line and started feeling along the wall looking for one brick that is indented just enough to be noticed by touch but not by sight.
After a few seconds, I found it and pushed the brick in, right as I did, alarms started blaring with red light coming from every direction. "Go go go it's not us it's just a diversion" Taylor mumbled as she shoved us into the tunnel.
Once we were inside the door closed and we were left in the pitch black of the tunnel.
There was a small shuffle before Mae whispered something that was probably along the lines of what the heck just happened, however, no response was given besides a small sushing as we shuffled along the tunnel in pitch black just in case there were cameras.

After an hour of following a memorized map and following directions given from Taylor in the form of our own type of morse code we had made up for this scenario one tap for right two for left and silence for straight, we hit a dead-end witch was the intended result once again I ran my fingertips along the wall looking for an imperfection in the perfectly flat stone.
After finding it I once again pushed it in and waited for the door to open, once it did we filed in and stood in silence waiting for it to close.
Silence, after around a minute of silence Taylor flicked on a flashlight she had hidden in her coat and began to explain to everyone else what had happened in the district and what would be happening now.
"Now we need to get to the end of this tunnel and across the desert to Canada before a search team finds us gone"
"Alright" with that sentence we trudged on. The white perfectly fit together bricks slowly turned gray and then to cobble then to dirt and soon we saw an opening, two old cellar doors that clearly needed to be replaced and had light and sand pouring through them. After opening these doors we saw a vehicle that was flipped over and riddled with bullet holes as well as a turret that had been disabled by ripping the top off.
There was a note that was stuck to the side of the turret so I ran over and grabbed it and read it to the group.
"If you are reading this then that means you escaped and so did I my name is Ava and I delivered your suite I'm sorry we didn't get to meet properly but that will have to wait for now, I'm probably a few hours ahead of you considering I didn't have to walk here so continue north AKA the way the turret is pointing (or was) you will find the forest continue walking until you find a large circular clearing we will meet you there. Oh and give this to the people in the clearing it will keep them from killing you on the spot. . . the rest is just some scribbles I can't read."
"Well that is infuriatingly vague"
Sebastian mumbled. We all flopped down in the shade of the turret after deciding that crossing a desert in the direct sunlight was a terrible idea, and we proceeded to nap in shifts.
I was the last person to watch the sun, it was just starting to set and I was left alone with my thoughts.
Soon it was time to go. I woke everyone up and we started trudging through the desert sand, we had only been walking for about an hour when I realized something.
"Hey Taylor"
"yep?"
"Did you realize that girl left no footprints like not even indents in the sand that means she was either really far ahead of us or some crazy voodoo is happening."
"Well looking at her note and the fact that the car also didn't leave a giant dent in the sand I would guess the former''
Sebastian responded instead of Taylor but hey I just wanted an answer.
