The day ended like any other for Leo, a routine mix of classes and interactions. But something seemed different in the air. Though the excitement of his fight with Rin the previous day had faded, something lingered, unspoken, beneath the surface.

Leo glanced around the classroom, taking his usual seat. Nomura and Masuko were seated in their spots, chatting quietly. Rin, however, was nowhere to be seen. It struck Leo as odd—Rin was usually punctual, if not early. Her absence gnawed at the back of his mind.

"Where's Rin?" he asked, turning to Nomura.

Nomura leaned back in his chair, looking thoughtful for a moment before responding. "Heard she's sick. Caught something overnight, maybe."

Leo frowned. Rin, sick? That didn't seem right. She had been full of energy during their fight. How could she fall ill so suddenly?

The day passed without much incident, though the thought of Rin not being there remained on Leo's mind. As night fell, he found himself outside the dorms, pacing in thought.

Finally, after growing impatient, he approached Nomura and Masuko, who were sitting by the entrance, chatting and laughing. Without any formalities, Leo asked, "Where can I buy something for Rin? Something from outside."

Nomura and Masuko stopped laughing, exchanging wary glances.

"Outside?" Nomura said slowly. "You mean from the town?"

Leo nodded.

Masuko shook his head. "Not possible. It's against the academy rules. No one goes out to town. They have everything we need here on campus."

Leo wasn't convinced. "There has to be a way, right? What if someone needs something special?"

Nomura rubbed the back of his neck, clearly uncomfortable with the topic. "It's... not exactly allowed. The academy's pretty strict about students not leaving without permission. And for something like that?"

Masuko nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you're better off dropping the idea. You don't want to get in trouble for breaking academy rules, trust me."

Leo crossed his arms, refusing to give up. "Come on, there has to be a way."

Both Nomura and Masuko hesitated, glancing around as if worried someone might overhear their conversation. Finally, Nomura sighed and leaned in closer to Leo.

"Look," Nomura said quietly, "there's... a way. But it'll cost you extra."

Masuko quickly added, "And by extra, we mean a lot extra. It's not cheap to get stuff smuggled in."

Leo's eyes narrowed slightly. "How much?"

Nomura shrugged. "Depends on what you're getting. And who you know."

Leo paused, considering the risk and the price. He didn't care about the cost—he just needed to get something. "Fine. I'll figure it out."

Nomura nodded, looking relieved the conversation was over. "Just be careful. You don't want to get caught."

"System what happened yesterday would it be a problem"

(What do you mean host!)

"I mean they saw my wings and its not normal"

(You do not have to worry about that as part of newbie period some changes will be made. But it might not affect the main casts.)

"If you say so."

The next day after class, Leo left the boys' campus and returned home for a moment, retrieving something. Whatever he was after remained a mystery, tucked away from sight.

Later, as the sun began to set, Leo found himself outside the girls' campus. He waited, observing the quiet and shadowed windows, before slipping inside. His mind was set on his goal.

The scene shifted to Rin's room, where she lay in bed, her body aching from the fever. Her cheeks were flushed, and she groaned softly as she reached for the thermometer beside her.

With a beep, the digital thermometer confirmed what she already knew—her temperature was high, though not dangerously so. But the feeling of exhaustion and dizziness overwhelmed her nonetheless.

She placed the thermometer down and sighed, rubbing her forehead. But as her hand fell to the blanket, her mind wandered back to the previous day, to the fight with Leo, and to the... accident that had followed.

The memory of their accidental kiss flashed in her mind, and her face turned an even brighter shade of red. She buried her face in her hands, groaning in embarrassment.

"I will not forgive you, Leo..." she muttered, her voice weak but determined.

The mental image of Leo's startled face, the moment their lips had touched, refused to leave her mind. Her chest tightened at the thought, her heart racing faster than before. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to push the memory away.

Finally, Rin opened her eyes and turned her gaze toward the small table beside her bed. Her half-mask lay there, cracked from the incident. She stared at it, her thoughts growing heavy.

Carefully, Rin sat up and reached for the mask. As she held it in her hands, a wave of sadness washed over her. She remembered something—something distant and painful—but she quickly pushed the memory aside, setting the mask back down on the table.

Just as she placed it down, a cool breeze entered her room, making her shiver. She turned toward the open window, her brow furrowing in confusion. She hadn't opened it, had she?

Before she could react, a figure appeared in the window, moving silently and gracefully into her room.

It was Leo.

He landed softly on the floor, his wings folding neatly behind him. In his hand, he carried a small, elegantly wrapped box—a cake from one of the finest shops in town. The box itself was carefully tied with a ribbon, the kind of packaging that would make anyone's mouth water in anticipation.

Without saying a word, Leo placed the cake on a nearby chair, keeping his distance from Rin, who was staring at him in shock.

For a moment, neither of them spoke. Rin, still flushed from both her fever and her embarrassment, simply watched him, unsure of what to say.

Leo, on the other hand, stood quietly, his eyes soft and calm. He didn't push any words, nor did he move closer. He just waited, letting the moment settle.

Rin's heart pounded in her chest. She couldn't believe Leo had come to visit her—let alone that he had brought something for her.

But why?
