This hunger, I need to feed it so it shuts up, and what better way to use some of these fresh and ready meats around me.
Of course I waited in my room until midnight to get some flesh to eat.
Around 3 am I wake up, and the first thing I do is take "my" knife that I didn't definitely steal from the kitchen, then slowly make my way out of my room and make sure nobody is up, then I go to a room where a little boy was sleeping in with a quirk that works like a heat scanner?
I don't really know or care; I just need his flesh.
After getting inside his room, I get close to he's bed and strike his head with my knife with all my power and lodge my knife in his head, I see he's eyes open in horror for a second before going cold.
I couldn't control myself and simply started biting his tender, hot flesh.
I first started eating his arms and legs, eating everything that had meat on it. I ate it quickly like a monster, and I could feel my hunger slowly going away as the fog in my head disappeared.
When I was done, I was covered head to toe in warm, warm blood that just makes me feel good? I feel much better, and the only thing that was left of the boy's body was his skeleton.
But I didn't care about any of that, but with the new vision I got going here, somehow I can see every single heat source all around the building!

I started laughing a little. I don't know if it's from the pleasure or pain of eating that kid, but this changes everything! I can really destroy this world! Bring it to its knees!
I don't need to feel guilty, I'm just a soldier following orders from my emperor and nothing more, I'm no heretic for eating this kid or becoming a mutation; I'm just doing it for the Imperium. Yes, for my Imperium.

With that, I leave "my" now broken knife in the boys skull, and I use my makeshift rope of clothes in my room and this kids room to get down of the first floor and start my journey.
As a monster... no, as a soldier.
