Kenji and Reika Kurozawa never wanted to run a family of assassins.
But when Kenji’s parents died, they had no choice. Their will tied him and Reika to the top, and walking away wasn’t an option—not unless they wanted to end up dead or worse. Their parents had made sure of that, keeping them uneducated, unqualified for normal jobs, and way too deep in the family business to escape.

The deeper he digs into his family’s past, the more he realizes—there’s no end to how bad it gets. The Kurozawas built their empire on pure horror, and if he tries to tear it down, his whole family is going down with it.
And as if that wasn’t bad enough? A long-lost family member just walked back in, bringing a whole mess of problems with them. On top of that, Kenji’s kids—reckless, clueless, and constantly screwing up—keep handing their new patriarch endless reasons to make their life miserable.
