Chapter 16 - A Cat Get's One Too.

Jack was quite well informed of some events, just that it appeared his world was far more Supernaturally charged than Other Jack's world. First of all, was the Hero Clan, then a new Vampire family that never existed in the other world.

Then, the three Super Powerful Monsters calling themselves the Dark Lords weren't a thing in Other Jack's world. Jack just felt that it was an application of Multiverse Theory with different realities being different.

His just happened to be more dangerous with the widespread Supernatural influence. He removed his hand from Aya's head as activating it out here could be risky.

"I got good news, you got the talent to learn Magic. Plus, you have a Sacred Gear."

When Moka heard about the Sacred Gear, she remembered one of the lessons her Father gave her. Most humans were weak, but those of the Hero Clan and Sacred Gear holders were not one of them.

Vampires and other Yokai had lost their lives so to always be cautious in the Human World. Aya on the other hand had no clue what that was, but it sounded cool.

"What is that?"

Before answering Jack motioned for them to follow him.

"Not out here. My house is warded so I can better explain there."

Both girls followed him with Moka leaving her bike outside. When they were all inside, Amara jumped off his shoulder and ran upstairs to find her food. Esmeralda was currently in the basement she constructed as she was setting up her laboratory.

As for Jack Sr, he wasn't in as he had left to meet Jin to meet with the Elders of the Japanese Hero Clan. As for his sister, she would be with his Mother so he turned to the two girls.

"Now that we are in my house, I will give a quick rundown for you Aya. Sacred Gears are Divine Soul Bound Weapons and Abillities given to humanity by Biblical God to fight back against Supernatural threats. You have one which I am going to awaken for you."

She nodded as that sounded awesome.

"Please do."

He placed his hand on her head and he sent a stream of Mana, and Ki through her Magic Pathways causing her to tremble. His Mana acted as a spark for her own and his Ki was there to make things more smooth.

He pulled his hand away as Aya's Sacred Gear was activated. Around her body, a bright crimson aura began to envelop the living room and her body.

[Ah, Varient Detonation, perfect for a firey Red Head like your friend.]

"Aya, your Sacred Gear is called Varien Detonation, it lets you explore anything you touch. Pretty good for a close-up fighter. Every blow is backed by an explosion. Now, focus and power down. Focus."

It took her a few moments, but quickly the Aura of Varient Detonation was gone. She sighed as she didn't want to explode the whole house.

"Does this mean I can use Magic now?"

He shook his head.

"Not at all. Magic for us humans isn't all big explosions. It takes a lot of Math and Calculations. Like if you wanted to cast a basic fireball spell, you have to calculate for that. Meaning, how much Mana will be needed to combust and how you want it to detonate.

Much less for a union spell like my own personal Diabolical Abyss spell."

When Aya heard that she sighed.

"Math?"

He smirked as before he learned of Magic, he felt the same way. Now, he loved Math because through it he could make some deadly spells. Since it had a use, he appreciated it more.

"Yup, trust me, it grows on you when you can use it to calculate for a Volcanic Eruption or Nuclear Blast Magic. Moka, you ever meet a Witch?"

Moka shook her head as she had not.

"Not really, Witches are in between Humana and Yokai as they can use magic. They keep their secrets to themselves and sometimes they kill other Monsters to use them for ingredients. As such, Witches are seen as dangerous, especially the strong ones."

Aya was now curious about something.

"Wait, if Biblical God is real and Vampires are real too, are Demons real?"

"Kind of, they are called Devils and they live in the Underworld. As for Demons, those are from Hell, and from what my Mother told me, it is really hard to summon them onto our plane of existence. Some Monsters have the name of Demons, but they aren't Demons.

Dragons, Phoenixes, Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils, Yokai, Monsters, Vampires, Gods, Heroes, Witches. All real. Plus, I have a Sacred Gear too."

He extended his right hand and he materialized The Abyssal Eclipse Gear. Moka and Aya who were both 11 leaned closer as they began to poke at the spiked Black Gauntlet.

"This is the Abyssal Eclipse Gear, a unique Sacred Gear. Most Sacred Gears are not unique and are common. Not sure how common Variant Detonation is, but mine is one of a kind like the Longinus. 13 Sacred Gears with the power to kill Gods.

Mine has a Dragon inside it. Meet my friend Apophis."

[That would be me.]

Moka and Aya stopped poking at the gauntlet as Dragons were strong. Moka had been told that one should never piss off a Dragon as even the weakest class of Dragon could cause pure devastation when pissed.

Just as they were going to ask questions, Esmeralda came up from the basement with Jannet. When she stepped into the living room, she focused on Aya and Moka. Plus, her son's Sacred Gear was exposed as he was showing them.

"Aya, did Jack tell you anything?"

Aya nodded.

"He told me everything, I also have a Sacred Gear."

She then turned to Moka who seemed a bit embarrassed.

"Where are my manners, I am Esmeralda Owens, a Witch, and Jack's Mother."

Moka bowed.

"I am Moka Akashiya, I'm a Vampire. I have never been to the human world and I was left on my own. Jack was going to teach me how to blend in."

Jack walked over to his Mother before dismissing his gauntlet.

"She was riding around on her bike and almost hit me in the face with it. Her Father sent her into the human world to get independent or something. The first thing she told me was she was a Vampire, if not for me, it could have caused problems."

Esmeralda knew that was right.

"Good call. Moka, do you have a caretaker in the human world?"

Moka shook her head.

"Not really, Sir Mikogami just left me at a house in Tokyo a few blocks from here."

Hearing that made Esmeralda sigh. Why were the powerhouses so whimsical?

"Mikogami? Tenmei Mikogami, the Kishin Dark Lord? He just left you here?"

Moka nodded with a wry smile.

"Yes, after my powers were sealed, he took me in, but he then just left me in Tokyo. He and my dad felt I should learn to be independent."

Esmeralda shook her head.

"We can't have that, that is just asking for trouble. You can spend time around us so we can teach you how to blend in. Aya, now that you know what is going on what are you going to do? Do you want to get involved in the Supernatural?"

Aya glanced at Moka and Jack before looking up at Esmeralda.

"I think I do. It sounds way more fun than the mortal world. You don't mind right?"

Esmeralda shook her head.

"Why would I mind? I have learned I need to let you kids make the choice yourselves. By the way, if you want to learn more about your Sacred Gear, you might as well go with Jack when he goes to the Underworld.

He is part of an organization called Grigori, made up of Fallen Angels and the leader Azazel is a know-on Sacred Gears. He would be your best bet for that. When I have free time, I can give you some lessons on magic. Does that sound fair?"

Aya nodded vigorously.

"Yes, Ma'am. Thank you."

Esmeralda didn't mind as she liked teaching others.

"You are Jack's friend and if he told you how things are, you might as well be knowledgeable. Just don't tell your parents as that can get rough. I can start your lessons tomorrow if you want. We can speak later when my husband gets back. I need to put the baby to bed."

As she walked up the stairs, Jack turned to Aya and Moka.

"You heard it, she can be your magic teacher. Just don't expect me to be your teacher as there are way better people for that. As for you Moka, since you are sealed with that Rosary, along with most of your powers, can you still fight?"

Moka blushed before shaking her head.

"No, I am clumsy and I get dizzy quickly. Most of my strength is also inaccessible to me, but I can defend myself for the most part."

"Do you want to learn how to better fight? You don't have to, but things in the Supernatural can get dangerous."

Moka thought about it as he was the first person who took her seriously in the human world. He was nice enough to tell her what she was doing wrong.

"I think I would, I don't want to be a burden to my family anymore."

He nodded as he opened a teleport circle to the Underworld under the three of them. Noticing what he was doing, Amara who had been eating ran quickly down the stairs and into his arms.

"I know just the guy to help with that."

In a flash of blue, the four of them teleported directly into Azazel's office. When they appeared, Azazel had been tinkering with what looked like a mouthguard with a speaker on it. He recognized Jack, but not the two girls with him.

"Jack, something wrong?"

He shook his head.

"No. I came to you since you know Moka and my friend Aya have a Sacred Gear. You would know more than me."

Azazel glanced at Moka, but he didn't recognize her. She was too different from the Moka he had met. He stood up from his desk and walked over to the young vampire.

"Moka? What happened to you?"

Moka smiled as she showed him her Rosary.

"My powers got sealed with this Rosary, if I take it off my powers come back. However, I can't take it off myself."

Azazel leaned in to get a look at the cross as Vampires were not supposed to touch Silver or Crosses.

"I see. That is too bad, but if it had to be done, it must be important. Now, Jack what Sacred Gear does your friend have?"

"Variant Detonation?"

"A rare and powerful Mid Tier Sacred Gear. Not bad for a close-up fighter. It even suits her red hair. Doesn't she kind of look like Sapphire?"

Jack shrugged.

"Kind of. I decided to not keep my Supernatural heritage secret so I told my friend Aya about this place. You think you got room for another Sacred Gear holder?"

"Of fucking course, I always got room especially if it is your friend. I can put Penemune as her mentor if you want. Or maybe Armaros would be better?"

Jack had met both and felt that Armaros would be better.

"Put her in Armaro's class. That guy is funny, but he is a good teacher."

"Got it. Regardless, I am Azazel, Governor General of Grigori. The leader of the Fallen Angels."

Aya bowed before introducing herself.

"I am Aya Akagi, Jack's friend. Thank you for this."

Azazel smiled.

"No problem, Jack is like the son I never had. He makes me so proud."

Azazel wiped away fake tears, but it just made Jack sigh.

"Yeah, yeah. I appreciate this by the way, I can always count on you Azazel."

Azazel grinned.

"Don't forget it. Now then, I got a gift for you. More so your cat."

Azazel pulled out a lantern holding a Sacred Gear.

"When you said you wanted a Sacred Gear for Amara, I couldn't get the idea out of my mind. Then I remembered this one, Gravity Jail, it gives the owner the power to increase or decrease Gravity in their line of sight.

For a magic cat like Amara, it felt perfect. Plus, consider it me being curious."

Jack felt that Azazel was really only focused on his hobby. If he could see Sacred Gears progress he would use any method.

"Thanks for that, Amara you want it?"

Amara jumped on the table and approached the latter. The first animal to get a Sacred Gear was about to be born.

(FYI, there will be a Time Skip Soon.)
