(After reading more on the Watchers of Grigori, there used to be 20 Cadre. Now, counting Kokabiel and Satanael, only 7 are left. 5 once Satanael was killed and Kokabiel sealed.)
Once Amara was next to the lantern containing the Gravity Jail Sacred Gear, Azazel merely popped off the lid. From the lantern, a glowing yellow orb emerged which was drawn toward the closet being which was Amara.
The orb split into two before it entered her eyes causing her to shake her head as it was discomforting. Azazel ran his hand down the cat's back as she assimilated the Sacred Gear.
Jack didn't feel worried very much and just as he expected Amara assimilated the Sacred Gear easily. When she opened her eyes, they stopped glowing, but through his contract with her, he could tell she was perfectly fine.
"Seems it was a success."
Azazel nodded to himself as he had once again done something never before done. He gave a cat a Sacred Gear, some might call that useless, but he considered it an investment.
"Of course it was. She is your familiar so I expected her to be able to handle something like this."
Jack smiled as he took Amara into his arms. He used his Familiar Contract with her to see if she was feeling discomfort or pain. Other than the initial assimilation she was completely fine.
"She is fine, probably a little excited to use it."
Azazel felt that was normal.
"Just let her take it easy for now, then she can play with her new powers all she wants. Now, Aya was it, nice to meet you. As Jack has told you, I am a Fallen Angel, the strongest one might I add.
I am in charge of Grigori, from the Book of Genesis. I also am in charge of a special school called Nephilim, where we train human Sacred Gear holders. Most of them were people who had their Sacred Gears early in life causing them and those around them danger.
It's both a School and Military Institute since Sacred Gear holders make good fighters. In return for my organization's training and looking after them, they use their abillities for my organization. Plus, it allows me to study their Sacred Gears which is my hobby."
Jack corrected him while running his hand down Amara's fluffy back.
"Hobby and Obsession."
Azazel didn't disagree.
"What he said? Once you live as long as me, you have to find something to keep you going. For me, Sacred Gears are that thing."
Aya listened to this carefully as this was all new to her. Unlike Jack who despite being the same age as her, knew of the inner workings of this world from Other Jack he had fused with. Of course, there were gaps in his knowledge because of multiverse theory, but he still knew enough.
He wondered what she would think about everything she had just learned. After thinking about it she asked a question.
"So, I would get training for my Sacred Gear, to let you study it?"
Azazel nodded.
"Exactly. Each Sacred Gear even the ones that are more common have differences depending on their wielders. Each Sacred Gear will evolve in different ways depending on the desires of its owners.
Your Varient Detonation could form new abillities never before seen if you desire it and master it. Of course, that is if you want to be involved in this world. It is no cake walk I might add even with a Sacred Gear."
Aya glanced up at Jack who wasn't going to force her to do anything. He only told her just to get it out of the way since keeping this secret would just cause unnecessary drama.
Aya didn't need to be told much before she made up her mind.
"I am ok with that, I want to stay with Jack."
Azazel hadn't studied Varient Detonation very much and she was Jack's friend so he didn't mind.
"Very well, welcome to Grigori. Of course, unlike Jack's parents, your parents are most likely regular humans. They most likely won't be fully on board with this, so just tell Jack to take care of it."
Aya didn't know what that meant, but she trusted Jack.
"Ok, when do we start?"
Azazel felt their was no need to delay it further.
"Now if you want, as Jack said I am going to put you into Amaros' Class as he is one of our best physical fighters. Plus, he is our expert in Anti-Magic and I would say his fighting style would serve you the best.
Jack is learning under Baraqiel so you won't be in the same class as you two will fight differently. As for you Moka, you aren't a member of Grogri, but you can still learn with Jack or Aya if you feel like it. I will simply contact your Father to see what he thinks about this."
Moka felt that was perfect. Not only would she be able to learn more about her powers, she could stick around her new friends.
She bowed politely as she was raised in Japan along with her family.
"Thank you very much, sir."
Azazel waved her off before standing up.
"In that case, I will take you to meet Amaros."
Azazel snapped his fingers and teleported them all to the training facilities where Amaros held class. In a blinding flash of green, they appeared in a vast open space where Amaros was holding class.
When they all teleported in, Amaros who was dressed in a pitch black set of heavy armor with a heavy helmet lerting his chest-length beard out. From his back, was a black enchanted cape that fluttered magically. In his right hand, he held a large axe as tall as a man.
In his left, he had a unique bracer that could expand into a full shield. Despite his apperance as a warrior, he was also the best Anti Magic Reasercher in Grigori. He was also a big Otaku who loved Japanese Anime.
"COME ON, YOU MOVE LIKE GOBLINS! FASTER! YOU WANT TO BE RIGHTOUS HEROES DON'T YOU!"
Gathered around two sparing young men was a class of around 20 teenage boys and girls. The two that were sparing were both holding bows made of light. Only that one was Blue and the other was Green.
They were running around the field at extreme speeds clashing with each other, firing arrows and somethinhgs using the bows as weapons. Azazel explained which Sacred Gears they were using.
"Those Sacred Gears are Staring Blue and Staring Green."
The teens were quite skilled and quite fast as they fired arrow after arrow against each other. Jack though noticed something.
"They are the same thing aren't they?"
Azazel nodded.
"Yes, this is one of the most common sacred Gears around. They do the same thing, only the color is diffrent. It is considered one of the first Sacred Gears made by Pops."
Amaros turned around as he ingored the sparing match. With open arms he approached Azazel.
"Azazel, my comrade in arms, have you come to see how my students strive to defeat evil?"
Azazel sighed as ever since Amaros got into Anime, he became like this.
"Talk normal, Amaros. Please."
Amaros seemed to slump before he removed his helment. Without his helment, his face was extremely handsome and manly. His hair was dark black, just like his beard and his eyes were a bright violet.
"Fine. What brings you to my class?"
The two sparing teens stopped as Azazel comming was quite rare.
"I came to bring you a new student."
Amaros looked over at Jack as they had met already.
"Jack? Are you planning to switch from Baraqiel's class to mine?"
Jack shook his head.
"Sadly no, I don't mind learning under you though. No, your new student is my friend Aya. She has the Sacred Gear Varient Detonation, a close up fighter like you would be good teacher for her."
Amaros nodded as he walked over to Aya. Just like with Jack, she had to crane her head up as Amaros was 6'5 and built like a brick house.
"Nice to meet you little lady. I am Armaros."
He extended his hand which she shook.
"Aya Akagi, I am ready to learn."
Armaros asked some basic questions before he started.
"How long have you known about your Sacred Gear? Be honest."
"Less than an hour."
Armaros didn't stop smiling as he loved to teach new students.
"Ah, so we got to start with the basics then. No matter, that is how everyone started. First thing first is the most important thing for a Sacred Gear holder, stamina and mana. The more you have the longer you can fight.
That is why the first thing you are going to do, is exerisise. Now that your Sacred Gear is unlocked, you will be able to break your limits faster than before. That is why, I will push you to the point that it will feel like your bones are broken. Let's get started."
Amaros reached down grabbed her by her nape and carried her off like a small kitten. Instantly Aya called out for help.
"JACK! HELP ME!"
Amaros merely laughed as he took her over to the very expansive gym that was attached to the arena. As for Jack, he waved with a smile.
"Have fun Aya."
Jack laughed to himself as from what he knew of Aya, she would adapt fine. Moka who watched Aya get picked off like that looked a bit worried.
"Will she be ok?"
Jack nodded.
"Armaros is a big softie and a swell guy, he is firm, but fair. She will be fine, as for me since it is my day off, I think I will go back home."
Azazel snapped his finger as he remembered something.
"Ah, before I forget, I was planning to visit Baraqiel today. He is also taking the day off to spend it with his family. His anniversary is coming up in a week. I wanted to give him a present for that. Want to come with me?"
Jack had no problems with that.
"Sure. How about you Moka?"
"I do. I am meeting so many new people, I don't want it to stop."
Azazel smiled as he teleported himself, Jack, and Moka to the house of Baraqiel. The house was in the rural areas of Japan as Shuri loved living out there. Jack though remembered that Satanael would have her killed in two years when Akeno was 10.
Other Jack as her boyfriend had learned everything about her back story which was quite depressing. Since he liked Baraqiel he might as well do something about his wife's death.
Rather than think about that, he focused on the traditional Japanese house built in the middle of a small forest. Baraqiel was dressed in a traditional Kimono as he sat outside with his wife and daughter having a meal.
Shuri and Akeno looked over at the teleportation as they wondered if something was wrong. However, they calmed down when they saw Azazel as he came here all the time.
Baraqiel stood up to greet his brother.
"Azazel, welcome to my home. Is anything the matter"
When they reached each other they shared a quick hug as brothers.
"No, I just came to give you a gift. I know it is almost your anniveresy."
Azazel waved his hand and teleported a special liquor from his stash. He handed the bottle to Baraqiel who knew how expensive it was.
"Azazel, are you sure about this?"
Azazel was sure.
"Of course, you are my brother. Something like this is obvious for your special day."
Jack didn't have anything on hand so he just greeted his mentor.
"Nice to see you again Baraqiel."
Baraqiel smiled as he had been planning to introduce Jack to his family.
"Akeno, remember the boy I told you about? This is Jack, my student."
Akeno eagerly walked over to introduce herself.
"Hello, I am Akeno Himejima. Nice to meet you."
She gave a deep bow, but Jack just gave her a polite smile.
"The feeling is mutual. Your Father is a good mentor. You should be proud."
She smiled as he appreciated her Father.
"Thank you. I am happy to call him my dad."
Baraqiel smiled as to a Father nothing felt better than the love of your family. Shuri walked down to step next to her husband as these days Jack came up in conversation a lot. Baraqiel had not lied when he said that Jack was huge for his age.
Jack at the moment was feeling a bit in the feels as the lingering attachments of other Jack made meeting Akeno a bit weird. They weren't his emotions and they didn't have much hold on him, but it showed just how much Other Jack cared for Akeno.
However, he simply forced those emotions away as Shuri decided to be polite.
"Will you all be staying for dinner?"
Azazel politely declined.
"I am afraid I can't. I only came to give a gift, I have other arrangements though."
Jack also decided to leave for good reason.
"I already ate and Moka can't eat food since she is a Vampire. Sorry."
Shuri didn't mind it.
"Maybe some other time, it was nice to meet you two."
Moka waved politely as Azazel teleported them all back to Grigori in his office. Azazel sat back down as he picked up the Artificial Sacred Gear he was working on.
"You two can stick around or just go back home. I will have someone drop Aya off later if you do go back home."
Jack decided to do that.
"That works for me. I will see you later Azazel."
Moka also decided to go with Jack.
"It was very nice to meet you."
Azazel smiled as the two of them and Amara returned to Tokyo. Once they were gone, Azazel smiled to himself as he could finally go back to his real goal. He pulled open his drawer where he had a secret stash of pictures of Gabriel in a bikini.
All it cost was finding an Angel of Heaven who worked around Gabriel and was on the brink of Falling. All the Angel asked to take these pictures was a porno movie and he was now a Fallen Angel.
"All in a day's work."
Azazel was back at it tempting innocent Angels with the pleasures of the flesh. It almost always worked.
