There was a loud "Bang" coming from the rooftop. The children playing outside were shocked by the loud sound. Ricardo noticed it was Christian and 3 others. He scolded Christian via radio for not putting a suppressor on their sniper rifles.
"Sh*t, I forgot."
Christian immediately went back to his room to get the suppressors.
Few minutes later, he got back. He teach his team about how to put the suppressor and how to use the sniper. This 3 were Christian's Sniper Team. Three of them were his cousins. Nor, 1 year older than him. Rald and Nard were twins and the same age as him.
"Don't forget what I taught about the proper posture earlier. Remember, the airguns we used for hunting has less recoil compared from this snipers."
"Now, how about you target those 7 zombies at the fence of the solar plant. That's at least 150m."
Christian was on a binocular looking at the zombies. One by one, the zombies started falling down. A big smile appeared on his face.
Nor looked at Rald and Nard with confidence written all over his action.
"Haha, see that cousins? I took three of them. You both got only two. Praise me you lowly creatures!"
"That was because you stole my last kill. Right Nard?" Rald replied.
"Nevermind him Rald, let him have his moment. At least playing PUBG paid off, how to shoot a moving target. Hehe" Nard answered.
"Good job cousins!" Christian gave them a thumbs up.
Meanwhile, Bats went to visit Unit 201, the Maintenance Team office. They were his companions. He told them that tomorrow he will be teaching them on how to use a pistol at least for self defense. His companions didn't hesitated but agreed on the spot.
Next day, they went outside just by the road. It's dangerous to venture far away from their base. There were 7 zombies lurking.
"The moment those zombies see you, they will rush running towards you. Remember, aim for the head."
The 6 companions nodded. Bats shot one of the zombies causing the other zombies rushed running towards them. His companions directly shot at them.
Loud consecutive gunshots were heard.
Adrian and Bazil killed their zombie targets in 2 bullets. While Mike, Romel, Sermia and Sison almost emptied their magazines. Not bad for their first time though. If others, they might tremble in fear just by looking at the horrifying look of the zombies. Bats smiled and applauded them.
"Not bad, not bad. You'll improve and get use to it soon."
PM-Sison felt a slight shame.
"Damn, we can't get even compare to you. You fought many of those at the hospital."
Romel also added,
"Sir Sison is right. But still thank you for helping and teaching us."
"I did try on a practice shooting range long ago but it's a different feeling when shooting this zombies as moving target." Sermia explained.
"Don't worry Bats. We'll be managing the solar plant properly so we can still be of help to you." Mike also felt ashamed.
Bats smiled,
"Don't feel pressured. You are my companions. Only by helping each other we can survive this apocalypse together."
Adrian and Bazil cheered them up. Well, it's not right if you just let your companions to fell useless. Cheer them up so it'll boast their confidence.
They stayed for a while killing zombies by the road. It was already afternoon when they returned. Following that, Bats decided to visit the Medical Team. Their team was on the ground floor. In Unit 101 the 2BR rooms were spacious and were modified to be the doctors and nurses offices making the living room be the waiting area for consultations, Unit 102 was for the laboratory, Unit 103 was for the ultrasound machine and Unit 104 was for the x-ray machine. Other hospital equipments were still at Bats's Space Store and will soon be used if the doctors say that they need such things. Unit 105 was for operations, Unit 106 was for the medicine supplies, Unit 107 and 108 were the location for patient's wards. There were no patients for the mean time. There were at least small numbers of people in que inside their office for consultation. Entering unit 101, he saw his sister and two other nursing students he rescued named Alexa and Elmer assisting the people in que.
Kaycee was also a part of that team as she was also a nursing student.
"Big brother, you're here. You're wearing your military vest. Are you going somewhere?" Kaycee asked.
"Nah, we had just finished hunting zombies in the road. I just wanted to visit your team how it's going." Bats replied.
After an hour, Kaycee introduced them all to Bats. Later on, he went back to his unit.

Next Day (5:00am)
Bats was already at Unit 202. He took out twenty M416 rifles, P92 pistols, VSS, M24 and Kar98 sniper rifles, military helmets and vests, boxes of ammunitions,10 night vision goggles and thermal scopes from his Space Store with just a wave from his hand. Unit 202 was the office for the Security Defense Team. After an hour, at the same time Ricardo and Eric came inside.
Their eyes's widened in surprise looking at those firearms that were orderly arranged at the floor.
"Have a seat both of you...As you can those at the floor, I'll entrust it to both of you."
Ricardo and Eric smiled, they were happy.
"Our Security Defense Team would surely become strong. But I'm curious, where did you get these things?" Ricardo asked making Eric also curious.
Bats simply lied,
"The company that built this building told me that this was a package. I couldn't refuse at first because I thought it would be useful in the future."
"Do you want to see something more interesting?"
Both of them couldn't say no. Well, aside from Ricardo, Eric was also in the army and was enlisted in the reservists. Minutes later, they went outside. Bats told them to open beneath the watchtower. Ricardo and Eric were dumbfounded when they saw what was I side. They've been in the watchtower for days but they never thought that such a weapon was hidden.
Bats took something from his pocket.
"Every watchtower has an M249 hidden beneath. Here's a manual on how to modify installing with the searchlight in the watchtower."
Ricardo and Eric suddenly laughed,
"Me and Eric were just talking yesterday about how we can tighten the security of the fortress and looks like the problem is already solved."
Eric added,
"Thank you Bats. With this, the Security Defense Team upgraded."
The Security Defense Team, 20 manpower. In daylight(6am-6pm), Ricardo was the OIC(officer in charge), there were 6 people assigned in 6 watchtowers(3 facing the solar plant and 3 facing the livestock animals) leaving 2 watchtowers unassigned (middle facing the entrance and middle facing the back, there were 2 people in the surveillance room (2nd floor just in front of the elevator or next to Unit 202) and the 2 twin snipers at the rooftop. At night(6pm-6am), Eric was the OIC, 6 people assigned in watchtowers, 2 people in the surveillance and 2 snipers (Christian and Nor).
