Kirito smiled and, without paying any further attention to the Yin-Yang pair, slowly walked out of the room. Just as he reached the exit, he bumped into Asuma, who had come running after hearing the commotion.

Seeing his clansmen lying dead in a pool of blood, Asuma Sarutobi grabbed his chakra blades and rushed toward Kirito.

But Kirito easily dodged the attack with a flash step.

"Who are you? What did you do to my people? Where is Konohamaru?" Asuma demanded angrily.

Asuma did not recognize Kirito, especially since Kirito was still wearing his ANBU mask.

"As the saying goes, seeing is believing. The brat's in there. You can check for yourself," Kirito responded calmly, pointing toward where Konohamaru was.

Asuma ignored Kirito and rushed inside, finding Konohamaru lying pale on the ground with blood staining his lower body. He fell to his knees, terror-stricken. "Konohamaru..."

Kirito, leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed, said nonchalantly, "Oh dear, I'm sorry, Asuma Sarutobi, son of the Third Hokage, that you had to witness such a grim sight."

A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth as he added, "Maybe I should've chopped him up further, so you wouldn't be as heartbroken."

"You bastard! I'll kill you!" Asuma roared, covering his chakra blades with wind-natured chakra and charging at Kirito.

The wooden door splintered under the force of the wind chakra, but Kirito gracefully leapt back into the courtyard, mocking Asuma, "Don't bluff. It only makes you look weak."

Asuma, enraged, let his bloodlust take over. His eyes turned red as he tossed his blades into the air and quickly formed hand seals, preparing to unleash **Fire Style: Burning Ash**. But before he could act, giant tree roots burst from the ground, binding him tightly.

The chakra blades clattered to the ground, and Asuma, stunned, realized he was completely immobilized. "This... this is Kurenai's genjutsu technique—Tree Binding Death. Who are you?" he stammered in disbelief.

Kirito chuckled, "Ah, so you finally recognize it? Allow me to introduce myself—Kirito. And this sword here? It's Kyōka Suigetsu."

"Shatter, Kyōka Suigetsu."

Kirito unsheathed his sword and activated its power.

He walked slowly toward the immobilized Asuma, without any real intent to kill him. He had, after all, promised to spare Sarutobi Hiruzen's legacy.

"You bastard! My father nurtured you, even had Kurenai teach you genjutsu, but you ignored his kindness and slaughtered my clan!" Asuma screamed hysterically, trying in vain to break free from Kirito's illusion.

"You seem to have misunderstood. Sarutobi Hiruzen has never done me any favors," Kirito replied coldly, before slicing at Asuma. Blood spurted out as Asuma's body was grievously wounded.

Asuma's agonized howls echoed through the night as the double pain—both physical and spiritual—tore through him.

Kirito swiftly retrieved a few drops of a special elixir from his system's inventory, turned them into water bullets, and shot them into Asuma's mouth. Then, he kicked him dozens of meters away, leaving him unconscious.

"What did you feed him?" Black Zetsu asked as he emerged from the ground.

"Something good. Want to try it?" Kirito asked, removing his mask and smiling darkly at Zetsu.

"Humans really are twisted creatures," Black Zetsu muttered. "But everything is over now. Whether you leave Konoha or not, Madara and Itachi's plans are almost complete."

"How long has it been?" Kirito asked.

"The Shimura clan was annihilated at 6:40. It's now 7:15," Black Zetsu replied.

"No rush," Kirito said. "I promised Uchiha Itachi I'd meet him at 7. Even if I'm late, I can't miss such a significant event like the Uchiha clan's destruction."

With that, Kirito donned his ANBU mask once more and vanished from the Sarutobi residence.

Night had fallen.

That evening, Sasuke Uchiha had been kept at the Academy for special training with Iruka, following orders from the higher-ups. Neither Iruka nor Sasuke realized the true intentions behind this.

Under the full moon, Itachi Uchiha crouched atop a telephone pole in the Uchiha compound. His crimson three-tomoe Sharingan glowed with a dangerous allure. In the next moment, he vanished.

Impatient with Kirito's delay, Itachi decided to begin the mission early, fearing something might go awry.

At the Uchiha compound's perimeter, five ANBU members, led by Sarutobi Shinnosuke, lay hidden, waiting for their moment. They were tasked with ensuring that no one but Itachi and Sasuke escaped.

Kirito was also one of their targets.

The ANBU team comprised only members of the Sarutobi clan—those whom Hiruzen Sarutobi trusted implicitly, keeping even Kakashi out of the loop.

Hearing the screams coming from the Uchiha clan, one of the ANBU said to Shinnosuke, "Captain, the massacre has begun. But where's Kirito? Wasn't he supposed to help Itachi tonight?"

"Maybe he took Uchiha Izumi and fled," another member suggested.

Shinnosuke shook his head. "Impossible. We've been watching closely. There's no way Kirito could have escaped without us noticing."

"So what should we do, Captain? It's past the agreed time, and Kirito hasn't arrived. Should we report this to the Hokage? What if he's abandoned Uchiha Izumi?"

Shinnosuke considered this for a moment. "You're right.Hirika, go inform Father. We'll stay here and keep watch."

"I understand," Shinnosuke's wife replied before swiftly disappearing.

But before she could get far, a shadow moved silently across her path, and a blade flashed.

She didn't even have time to scream before her head was severed cleanly falling right infront of Shinnosuke and the Remaining Anbu members.
