The Yokai attacks ruthlessly, its claws scratching and teeth biting. He dodges and rolls to avoid the attacks, but he can feel his strength fading. He's not sure how much longer he can keep up the fight. The Yokai is relentless, and he can feel himself getting worn out. He needs to find a way to defeat this creature quickly, before it's too late. He looks around desperately for something, anything that he could use as a weapon. He sees a large stick on the ground nearby, and he quickly grabs it, brandishing it like a makeshift spear. He faces the Yokai with the stick in hand, trying to look brave and determined, but deep inside, he's terrified. The stick is not a good weapon at all, but it's all he has. To his surprise, the stick he's holding suddenly starts to glow and transform into an ornate spear that looks as if it's made of gold and silver. He looks at the spear in awe, wondering what just happened. The spear feels lighter and more balanced than the stick did, and he can feel a strange energy emanating from it. Is this some kind of divine intervention? Or is it just his imagination? There's no time to ponder that now, as the Yokai is already in front of him, its claws ready to tear him apart. He grips the spear tightly and braces himself for the next attack. The Yokai lunges at him, its fangs bared and its eyes filled with malice. He reacts quickly, thrusting the spear forward at the Yokai's approaching body. As he thrusts the spear at the Yokai, he feels a strange power surging through him. A powerful beam of energy shoots out from the tip of the spear, hitting the Yokai full on. The Yokai lets out a pained howl as it's hit by the energy blast. It stumbles back, clearly dazed and weakened by the attack. His eyes widen in surprise, not expecting such a powerful attack to come out of the spear. He's not sure how he did it, but he's grateful for the extra firepower. The Yokai seems to be recovering from the blast, slowly rising back to its feet. It gives him a furious look, its eyes filled with hate. The Yokai lets out a guttural snarl, speaking in a deep and ominous voice, "Foolish human. You think you can defeat me with your pathetic weapon?" The voice send chills down his spine, but he doesn't back down. He keeps the spear pointing at the Yokai, ready to attack again if necessary. The Yokai cackles, its eyes narrowing in anger. "You're just a weak and insignificant human. No matter how powerful your weapon is, you are still nothing compared to me." He grits his teeth, trying to keep his composure. The Yokai's words are getting to him, but he can't let it show. He grips the spear tighter, preparing himself for the next attack. The Yokai crouches low, ready to pounce. "You are nothing but a plaything for me. I'll make you suffer for defying me like this!" The tension in the air is palpable, as the Yokai prepares to attack once again. He can feel his heart pounding in his chest, but he does his best to stay focused and keep his guard up. The Yokai suddenly lunges forward with surprising speed, sending him flying back with a powerful push. He lands heavily on the ground, the impact knocking the wind out of him. He tries to catch his breath, his chest heaving as he struggles to get back up. The Yokai stands a few meters away, cackling at him with a cruel smile on its face. "Is that all you got? I was expecting more of a fight from you, human. But you're just as weak and pathetic as I thought." The Yokai sneers, licking its lips in anticipation. As the anger and desperation overtake him, he runs towards the Yokai, a blue flame suddenly igniting around him. The flame takes on the shape of countless birds, rushing towards the Yokai in a flurry of flaming feathers. The Yokai is caught off guard by the sudden attack, as the blue flame birds swarm around it, scorching its skin and leaving burns all over its body. It let out a pained howl, trying to swat the birds away The birds continue their relentless assault, dive-bombing the Yokai and leaving burn marks all over its body. The Yokai is clearly hurt and struggling to fend off the attack. He takes advantage of the momentary distraction from the flaming birds, charging forward to attack the Yokai with his spear. As he approaches, he sees the Yokai slowly dissolving, its body turning to dust and smoke. Within moments, the Yokai is completely gone, reduced to nothing but swirling smoke and ash. He stands there, panting and exhausted, staring at the spot where the Yokai was just a moment ago. He can hardly believe what just happened. The Yokai, which was so menacing and powerful, is now gone, defeated by his own hands. He looks down at the spear in his hand, still glowing with a faint energy. Looking at the glowing spear in his hand, he can't help but wonder about the power that just unleashed. He stares at the spear, still baffled by its ability to produce such powerful beams of energy. He mutters to himself, "What was that? How did I do that?" He tries to recall the events that just transpired, trying to figure out how he made the spear release those powerful beams. It all happened so fast, and he didn't even expect it to happen. He can't help but wonder if there's something more to this spear, or if he has some hidden power within himself. The man who spoke to him about the spirits and yokai earlier suddenly appears, having witnessed the entire battle. He looks at the glowing spear in his hand and smiles.
He says, "That ability you just used is called 'surge'. It's a rare and powerful ability that only a few people possess. It's very fitting with your spear. You seem to have great potential." The man explains, "Given the fact that you can control Blue Flame, it's safe to say that your attribute is a Spectrum attribute. Spectrum attributes are rare and powerful, capable of manipulating multiple types of abilities and magic with a weapon or not . You're very lucky to possess such an attribute." He can feel a thrill run through him at the man's words. Spectrum attribute? That sounds powerful and rare. It means that he has the potential to do many things with this spear, and possibly harness more abilities and magic. The man smiles and introduces himself with a bow, "My name is Takeshi. And you are...?" He hesitates for a moment, then says, "Call me... Taro." Takeshi nods, seemingly satisfied with the name. "Taro, huh? It's a pleasure to meet you. You fought that Yokai bravely, and your use of Surge was impressive." He can't help but feel a little embarrassed by Takeshi's compliment. "Thanks, I guess I just... reacted on instinct. I didn't know I could do that." Takeshi chuckles lightly, "Instinct can be a powerful tool in a fight, especially with a power like Surge. But if you want to control it properly and harness its full potential, you will need to train and practice. I can help you with that if you like."
